Not here to bad talk anyone, just a review of my experience. I have some skis to sell. Their…read morewebsite has a video about how they will buy your equipment no matter the season. So I thought, great! It's July, let's get rid of the skis. Well apparently that is their corporate website that has that video. The sales person at the PIAS in Santa Rosa was pretty rude in curtly explaining that after doing a google search for PIAS, going to their website and watching a video, I should've continued further and found their website specifically for the Santa Rosa store, in which case it is "clearly explained" that they don't buy skis until November. I definitely take the heat for trying to sell skis in July. My bad. But after watching the video, it seemed to be their policy to take equipment any time of year. Also, what would've been a nice response to me is something like, "Oh, yeah, I'm sorry. That's our corporate website. I'm really sorry for the confusion, but each store is franchised, and we have different..." whatever. I'm sure this is a fine store for your used sports equipment needs. But would it kill you to be a little polite in explaining your policies? I won't be going back.

Starting off, it was a little difficult to work with The Rental Place specifically in Fort Bragg…read more(not this page) but that partially was due to my miscommunication and how it wasn't as easy to communicate with them via email (phone is best we learned). And their website doesn't have photos of all of their products so trying to get an idea of what kind of linen colors they had online was difficult. After communicating with Chris (Rohnert Park) and requesting a color pallet via email, it was easy to see what they had in stock. I got married in Gualala on Sept. 28 and initially placed an order for rentals in the Fort Bragg location. After reconsidering, we switched to the Sebastopol location since that's where we were initially based, therefore causing some confusion but ultimately it all worked out! Working with Chris was easy and he was very helpful getting everything ready for us. We asked to pick up on Thursday before the wedding and return the Monday afterwards which they were very willing to do! I was very happy that they worked with our schedule and even let us pick up part of the order the Wednesday before. We ordered chairs, cocktail tables, linens, silverware, and glassware for a very reasonable price. Andrew in Sebastopol was kind and generous, especially working with our altered schedule. The chairs were a little beat up but that's what you can expect from a rental place. They didn't have the exact color we initially wanted but were happy with the dark mahogany vs the natural wood (only available in Fort Bragg). They are chairs after all so it didn't bother us. Returning the rentals was easy and we were only charged for the few glasses which broke (makes sense). I would recommend working with the Rental Place again!

I went downtown a few weeks ago and saw they were closed. I texted Geoffrey and found out they operate by appt only since he's a one man show. I made an appt online for 6/20. Went in and tested the Workman Trike and the low rider trike (with a seat like a beach chair). I liked the look of the Workman Trike better because I wanted the "bike" look as well as being able to sit tall. I also liked the basket in the back. This particular trike is not your normal kids trike. This one it's made by Workman which is the oldest bike manufacturer in the US since 1898. They make both industrial and recreation bikes. It's a sturdy little bike and I am very happy with it! Maybe I can work my way up to riding a 2 wheel bike one day. If not, I'm happy with this bike just to work out. I will try to find a way to fit it in the Prius. It does fold but just barely fits when closing the hatchback. We will try different positions and see if we can make it work. Otherwise, loving my new bike. I highly recommend Geoffrey at Bike Partners. He even delivered my bike the same day since I couldn't drive it home.

On a recent gift hunting trip, I walked into a nearby shop to pickup a birthday present for my wife.
