Went in for dinner and drinks last night . The place was packed and extremely busy. The host was a very polite and handsome man , I think name Tom or Tim, he went out of his way accommodate us and get us seated even tho he was extremely busy and multi tasking to the max , just great customer service . I had the shrimp with risotto and it was one of the best things I've ever had ! I got the solis cocktail again , it was so well made and tasted great! We had a reservation under a friends name. When we first walked in to check in, the guy at the front just stared at us. My sister told him we had a reservation and all he said was, "yes, I dont know how to say the name but yes." Then there was an awkward silence. My sister had to ask him where we are seated. He pointed to the the table and we sat ourselves down. We were a group of 6, took about 50 minutes for our food to come out. We ordered, steak, chicken gorgonzola, chicken marsala, crispy prawn risotto, and a side of fries. I had ordered the steak medium rare. When I got it, it was not medium rare but RED. My fries were also cold when we got it. After we all got our food except for my friends pasta dish (chicken marsala) the waitress went to check on the status. Turns out they forgot to make it and they had just started cooking it. Surprisingly it came out 5 minutes after she told us they just started cooking. Unfortunetly, when my friend got her chicken marsala, the noodles were still hard. She also did not like the sauce. We did not stay for desserts. Would not go again. read more

Was randomly in Snohomish and looking for a meal. IT was Halloween time so the atmosphere was a little strange in general. We were seated in teh front/bar section which made for some good people watching. Here's what we had: Linguine with clams (great) Crab cakes (ok - a bit too much filler and not all killer) House salad (as one does) Beef risotto (not too shabby) The cons: There were a few too many flies flitting about in a place where I was ordering sick pasta dishes. We stopped in for dinner a few weeks back, before indoor dining was shutdown again. The cocktails were great, but the food was mostly a miss. We had the flatbread and shrimp appetizers, neither looked or tasted very good. The only hit of the night was my short ribs plate with mashed potatoes and veggies, very yummy. The service was terribly slow. We were there for hours despite only having two courses. Our server said they were understaffed, but she seemed to just ignore our table while visiting the ones around us frequently. I know covid was probably the reason--so this didn't affect my rating. This place was great. Wife and I went for our anniversary. We ere finally able to go because we remembered to make a reservation. The service was awesome, attentive, warm ppl working there. The food was delicious! My wife has the chicken gorgonzola, DELICIOUS! I had the chicken marsala and it was fantastic. Im a bigger guy and most of the tables are booth style with hard wood benches. So not the most comfortable for me (but i was able to move to a table with chairs.) We will definitely go back. The food, service, atmosphere were great. Highly recommend. read more

A friend and I were able to snag a same day reservation for an impromptu girl's night and The Repp didn't disappoint! Service was great. Cocktails as always were en pointe. I needed help as so many of them sounded so great. Settled on the French 75 and loved it. My friend had the sangria. Goat Cheese Fritters are always a fave appetizer...don't forget to add the arugula! Garnish for some but it really does add to this dish! I've long loved the salads here and made sure to get a small one ordered before settling on dinner. I came in thinking I'd go for a tried and true Risotto. This is likely going back in time but I remember loving a veggie risotto as well as a mushroom risotto. My friend got the Shrimp Risotto as there is now just one option. I skipped down the menu and landed on the Beef Bourgignon...delicious! I remember this dish being a special a couple years ago and loving it then. It was excellent this time too and I was glad to see it made it onto the menu! I can imagine it's a hot item. We skipped on dessert as we had no room left but left quite happy It wasn't until I started writing this I realized the bread with whipped rosemary butter is gone. I suspect this loss is Covid-related. We didn't miss/need it but it was always a welcomed treat! read more

One of my favorite restaurants. The best food and the friendliest staff. This is our go to date night location.

Not sure how this joint got such rave reviews; on the food that is! The atmosphere is great, service is good, but the food needs to come a long way. The only thing that caught our table of 4 as good was the burger; but you can get a burger anywhere right?? The clams were way off point; they were covered in a buttery water and had absolutely NO flavor. Plus, when you serve clams as an appetizer plate, you should strive to use "little necks" (the smallest of the clams). Not here, these things were the size of golf balls and were hard to get down as an app. The crab cakes were the worst thing on the menu. They tasted like canned or packaged crab...and were "DRY", and we mean DRY! They tasted more like flaky bread crumbs with old fish flavor left for the after taste. If you want a good crab cake (that actually has real crab, is lightly battered and pan fried - don't come here). Again, a great place to grab a cocktail, but that's about it. read more

LOVE!! Been to Snohomish multiple times but just actually moved to this town. After our last experience at The Repp we are expecting to be regulars and have told SO many people about this gem. We walked in and they were busy, they asked if we had a reservation (we didn't, our bad, we didn't know and we will from now on) they said they were full for the night in the dining room (yay!! That is amazing!!) but that the bar is open seating. We opted to wait for the bar. The front desk men (I believe one was probably a manager?) we're SO nice and honest with everything. They offered us a beverage while waiting. I was very happy with this greeting as I have been in the restaurant business for 17 years and a GM for 7, and this is what I would also direct my staff to do. Onto the food!! OmG the burrata was amazing! Pesto, tomato, creamy cheese OH MY! Beautifully plated. I ordered the crispy prawn risotto and was extremely happy. Came out hot, creamy and perfectly cooked. My husband and I then noticed our server Nick was also the mixologist, and oh. My GOD can he make a mean cocktail. I am a HUGE stickler for espresso martini's and he makes the best one I have ever had in my life. Even better then the ones I have had in Vegas!! Nick was so polite, checked in on us the appropriate amount of times, and you could tell that he actually was very proud of what he puts out to guests. It's close to our house, so we keep trying- maybe they've hired someone nice? Nope. Finally reached my limit. I've never met a kind person there. All guests are a pain in the ass. Super friendly service. Really cute restaurant. It is really loud! But it worked out well having our two young kids because others couldn't hear them! All the staff was so nice! Our waitress was attentive and friendly, and super accommodating. We were there for the live music as well. The singer was great and it was enjoyable e to have live music! The food was delicious. Two of us got the Filet and it was out of this world. The appetizers were great as well. Probably will save this for special occasions as it's a little pricey but totally worth it! The best filet mignon!! MUST GET THIS!! Decent size and the two times we had this it never failed us! Always medium rare throughout to our liking and the portion is great for the price! Must get their bacon wrapped sea scallops! No dinky scallops here! Their chocolate mousse is also to die for... Amazed by how good this place is...and in Snohomish. I felt like I was in downtown Seattle when I came here.. Next time I will post some pics... A great date spot right in the middle of First Ave. They used to have live music on Saturday nights...we were here on a weekday with no trouble with finding parking. They have a neat bar spot. I'm surprised I haven't reviewed the Repp before. It's been one of my regular First Street stops since I moved to San Diego six years ago and started visiting Snohomish for at least a week almost every summer to catch up with friends and family. Thanks to the quiet atmosphere on an otherwise loud street, I often end up at the Repp so I can actually talk with my friends. The restaurant has a sophisticated, classy vibe that is a breath of fresh air among the dive bars of First Street. I visited last week with a friend and we enjoyed catching up at the bar over a glass of wine and a margherita flatbread. We arrived shortly after 10 pm and, although they weren't serving dinner anymore, they did offer a bar menu. The flatbread was good and my friend seemed to enjoy his bowl of clams. Someday I'll have to return and actually try a full dinner here. read more

I read great reviews about this place but was a little hesitant based on the pictures of some of the food. I'm glad we gave it a chance, as the pictures don't do this place justice. The staff is amazing and the food was delicious. We took a chance without a reservation on a Saturday evening since we went early enough, however, while we got lucky, this place fills up fast. I highly recommend making reservations. Additionally, they have live music beginning at 6ish, which was really pleasant. Two thumbs up, we will definitely be returning. read more

I love everything about Snohomish. I love wandering down Main Street and visiting the shops. On one such occasion the mister and I stopped here for some small plates and cocktails. We had to wait for them to open which was a bummer, but what are you gonna do? We got to sit at that maxing table by the window. You just sit here, the people watching is great. We ordered our cocktails off the menu, the fancy classic cocktails are appealing. We also grabbed two small plates. Food was great and the drinks were strong. They kicked us out of that amazing table after an hour, so they lose a star. Who does that? There were two other couples there and after just a few minutes for one couple they asked them to move. I will recommend this establishment to anyone wanting to have a selection of the best food in town, mellow patrons, and price-structure suitable for whomever. This is a place you can rely on for numerous consistent attributes. For many years, there was a reason why I did not go into Snohomish(when around) on 1st Street to dine OR to go enjoy a chill evening. That was impossible! Now there is finally a place where I will return to and know I can expect an environment which the entire town was lacking! Not only is the staff serving up food of perfection, but you can sit, have a relaxing time listening to live, YET, quiet jazz, AND have a conversation where you are not raising your voice. Jazz is played above the soft-lit room in a unique setting Friday and Saturday evenings from around 6pm-10:30pm. The clientele, of which is incredibly eclectic, remains respectful of the environment. The type of people ranged from mid-20's to mid 60's. It would be a perfect place to take a date or just to have a meal better than any other place in the town. I've never been treated so rudely by a restaurant greeter in my life. It was 4:00 on a Saturday and we entered with no reservations. Out of all the tables in this place, maybe 20, only 2 were occupied. We approached this male greeter. Without a hello or anything he stated "I don't have anything, we are booked" I looked around and said "It appears to be pretty empty". He stated "I don't know what to tell ya". The phone rang and he immediately picked up, turned his back and ignored us. We were stunned at the rudeness. I stated that "We will never be back and will spread the word". We walked out. There was a female waitress standing near by watching the whole experience. She chased us down right at the door. She adamantly apologized. She stated that maybe we would like a spot at the bar. We thanked her for apology and offer but that we just couldn't get ourselves to spend our money at this establishment and again, will never return. read more

This place is great. As soon as you walk in you fall I love. Great little jazz place. They have table with curtains if you want a more private dinner. Or take ordered honey prawns, calamari, and steamed clams to start, everything was cooked prefecture and seasoned amazingly. If I could just eat the honey shrimp fire the rest of my life, I'd be okay with that. For our main course we got mushroom risotto, the special which was demi glazed steak, mage potatoes and veggies, and goat cheese salad. Quite possibly the coolest restaurant in Snohomish. Granted, if you don't live in Snohomish, you might find it to be a little bit out of the way - but if you're willing to make the drive out here, it's well worth the trek. The Repp is the kind of place that, no matter how crowded it gets, you'll almost always feel as though you've got the whole place to yourself. Still can't quite figure out if this is due to the decor, the way the booths are set up, or just from the constant attention you get from the staff here. Not sure what it is exactly - I just know that I like it. Oh, and someone's going to have to confirm this for me - but each time I've been here I keep seeing the celebrity doppleganger for Chris Kristofferson. Only he's gotten a haircut. Weird. Of course, I had lost track of how many drinks I'd had at this point, so anything's possible. The menu here is really pretty diverse. I'm especially a fan of the garlic prawns, the bacon wrapped scallops (mmm...bacon...) and the Kobe Burger. Wasn't terribly impressed with the crab cakes (too much cake...not enough crab) or the calamari. Also, they've got an excellent wine list and some really great beers on tap. Added bonus: Jessica, the owner, switches out the art every couple of months or so and she tries to highlight all local artists. Big props for local art! This part of Snohomish is pretty well known for their antique shops. And if you visit out here, you'll see why. So if you find yourself out in Snohomish shopping at the many antique shops, or just browsing around, plan on stopping in to the Repp for dinner. It will definitely be worth it. read more

Never thought Snohomish would be home of a place like this. Somewhat trendy, definitely unexpected, mostly small town, but with wickedly good drinks and decent food. The hubby and I were celebrating our 16 year anniversary and he decided to take me to The Repp for dinner... I guess he had been there for drinks with his friends and thought the menu looked good. I am not one who gives control easily. I take my time reading Yelp reviews and finding a place worthy of the occasion, but this time I let him decide so that's how we ended up in Snohomish. We ordered wine and a lemon drop which was pretty strong. That could be a good or a bad thing depending on the customer. For appetizers we ordered the bacon-wrapped scallops and the honey garlic shrimp, both great! For dinner we shared a Chicken Marsala and it was 'goodish' but probably not something I would order again, it just wasn't memorable. For dessert we had Creme Brulee and I didn't care for it but my husband liked it... he likes anything sweet. My favorite part of the night was the musician... absolutely fantastic! Overall a good place with a cool vibe and super friendly service. You should give it a try! read more
