I originally parked in the small lot on the right (when facing the building) and it was a very tight squeezed, but then realized there was a much larger parking lot on the other side, so I moved over there. It's been a while since I've visited The Inside Scoop. The last time I remember going, you went inside and ordered the ice cream. I'm not sure when they switched to the window, but I found it to be much more convenient than many people being squished inside a small space to order. There were lots of choices of ice cream to try, but I ultimately picked blueberry pie in a sugar cone. It was delicious. My mom picked peppermint (her favorite flavor) and was very happy with how many chunks of candy were in it. The employee that took our order was very friendly and seemed to scoop our ice cream well. Overall, The Inside Scoop is a must-try ice cream spot in this area.

The heatwave was doing its thing, but luckily there's a good amount of shade in front of the building as you wait to be served. There's a tiny parking lot to the right of the boldly painted building, but an even bigger one to the left. If you have a larger vehicle, I recommend parking in the left lot. Plenty of space for you there! The young woman at the counter was super peppy and was excited to scoop me her favorite, black raspberry Oreo, on special that week. I grabbed extra napkins because the humidity outside was already working against me. I walked over to the seating area on the side and got to work quickly before nature won. The black raspberry ice cream was cool and creamy, great raspberry flavor without tasting artificial as some do. The oreos adding some chocolatey richness to the experience. It felt indulgent and refreshing. I basically inhaled it so I wouldn't wear it but every bite was fantastic. Inside Scoop has been there for ages, and for good reason. Next time you're in North Kingstown, swing by and try it out for yourself!

The bright orange sign is your beacon to delicious pizza! Pull in, find a spot and head inside to a gorgeous cafe-esque pizza shop. A beautiful slice display showcasing 6 different pizzas, and plenty of local options for soda, beer and wine. They make NY style pizza here at Rhody Slice. The staff here are always friendly and efficient. The person helping you is usually the one making it, so it's nice to be able to speak to your pizza maker directly if you have specific needs! We were pretty simple today, half pepperoni and half meatball. I love their crust the most. It has great texture, and it's so tasty. You can really taste the care they put in the dough. They tend to go lighter on the sauce, so keep that in mind if you are a sauce-forward pizza lover. The pepperoni are all beef and the meatballs are clearly homemade and tender. The pizza eats easily, it's so light! Between the two of us, we crushed the whole pie. Another satisfying lunch at Rhody Slice! It's not hard to overlook this place among the many plazas on Post Rd. Blink and you drive past it. So take it from me, keep your eyes peeled for the orange sign because you won't want to miss your turn.

I don't eat pizza often and it was exactly what I wanted. Price seemed a bit high but I understand prices at every shop are going up a bit and to feed 3 of us I thought the cost was justified. Unlike most Del's stands in the state this one accepts credit card (and cash). There is of course a small fee to use a credit card, but I appreciate the convenience of it, especially since we are here multiple times a week in the summer. They have a large variety of flavors including cherry, which I know isn't at all the Del's locations. I however always stick to the classics of either lemon or watermelon. You can also get half and half if you are looking to try multiple flavors! Employees are always super friendly and I appreciate that they have a drive-thru!

I usually buy my alcohol base because of the lower prices but base is limited as to the amount of bottles, and this place had the peppermint schnapps that I was looking for for my hot chocolate over the holiday season. Very welcoming atmosphere and it's closer to the house than other liquor stores that my husband and I usually go to so I think we found our new place, even though the prices are a little higher by like 1-5 dollars per bottle, the fact that this place has a great variety with an amazing staff we will just start coming here and not have to drive far.
