Gracie sandwich with home-made potato salad & tomato-end parasol! The extra touch was so nice!

This place is so cool! The food is amazing & made with love! Also, the back garden patio is like a small arboretum - relaxing & beautiful. Highly recommended, but they close at 3 - so plan accordingly! Favorite so far is the Gracie sandwich: chicken, bacon, pesto & mozzarella on grilled bread with homemade potato salad!

Cute cute cute country place. They have so many great choices for drinks. Both my kids loved their chocolate and mocha milkshakes; I must admit, I tested both out and they were so rich and creamy. My iced latte was perfect, nice and strong but not over powering. The nearest grocery is far away so they have a pantry-like back wall and refrigerated section with a small variety food and drink essentials. I love to people watch; a few little tables lined the front where some locals were enjoying their lunch (big burgers) while puffing on some ganja. Straight hippy place, happy place!

Very quirky. The community is a character in itself. This place is in a house on the main street through the community. The clientele is mostly locals. Staff is polite and the food is actually good. WE got the French toast and the special of blueberry pancakes.

Soooooooo I'm not gonna lie this place is popular but I'm in impressed. It's kind of a homey feel very small and quaint. Slightly on the expensive side but it is in the middle of nowhere so I get it . I was thoroughly enjoying my food right up until I found a hair in it, 3 bites into my meal!!!!! Fuckin gross! Obviously they offered to remake it. But What a way to ruin a good meal. I have to go with 3 stars mainly because they seriously need to de-web and clean that place badly!!!! Also cuz of the hair and the fact that I gave them $100 and my total came to $16.30 and she only gave me $80 back Smdh this was kind of a fail all around. Oh I almost forgot the condoms in the bathroom lol.

The Ridge is an interesting place in a little town that you would probably pass right through without even noticing it existed if you weren't looking for it for some reason. The staff was super friendly and the menu was full of great homemade items for breakfast and lunch. Many of which are organic and local. Breakfast was good and fresh and the toast came with what had to be house made jam. Price was reasonable for a small town shop and the food came out quickly. Chances are, you will never get the opportunity to eat or get a cup of coffee here because if its location. But if you are headed through and hungry, dont be afraid to stop in.

Stopped by this cafe in the otherwise sleepy town of North San Juan driving thru highway 49 on the 4th of July. The place is quirky and wouldn't be out of place in Santa Cruz. Grabbed a breakfast burrito and a large chai with oat milk and a cowboy cookie. All were delicious and would come back here again when in town.

The Ridge Cafe serves people from all walks of life. It's is a cozy cafe in a house-like setting with a white picket fence. One immediately feels inner calm in its lush gardens with patio seating as musicians strum their guitar and hippies playing chess abound. I've made it tradition to find the garden Buddha, leave change, rub its belly and make a wish. The staff are super friendly and go out of their way to make sure my meal is to my complete satisfaction. Each time I have come here I ordered something different to try and was not ever disappointed. The food is exceptionally delicious and organic. The ranchero burrito was HUGE; stuffed with potatoes, spinach, salsa, chicken, eggs, avocado, sour cream and Salsa verde. Everytime I visit Yuba City National Park, I always grab lunch at the Ridge Cafe. My adventure definitely starts here!!

But each time I've tried to give this place a chance they have failed. Waste of so much money. The only reason it gets two stars is the young women who are working the front of the house. They are so kind and sweet, however not knowledgeable of the wine. It seems ironic to have local vineyards and cannot taste some of the wines by the glass? Also, the "local" wineries are private or you have to have an appointment!? Phone numbers do not work. And the only place to "taste" the wine is Clover Cafe? Very odd and not normal coming from the Bay Area/Napa. "Renaissance wine" what's up with your wine? And that vineyard. Weird vibes and the lady at the gate when protecting this vineyard told me to go to Clover Cafe and made us seem like we couldn't afford the wine at their "private" winery! Weird. The restaurant when you pull up is on the corner of the main road and has lots of parking, the inside of the restaurant and outside are pretty nice! Lots of space. However; the food takes 20-30 minutes to come out and when it comes out the presentation is not appealing, and the food from the menu described is not what is served. The BBQ pork sandwich was soggy. And the fries over cooked. The breaded chicken sandwich was also sloppy and is bigger than the bun. The tomales Bay blue cheese spinach and walnut salad is only spinach with crumbles of blue cheese and walnuts and dressing sloped all over the place. It had minimal flavor. The barbecue sauce on the barbecue slider was also had a strong vinegar taste. The wine was not good, it was very pricy as well. The wine tastes like old wood and had other little pieces of debris flowing in it because the glasses were dirty and had spots all over them and that has happened to me each time. I have ordered wine here twice. This is based on giving them a second chance. Being that this is supposed to be "an upscale restaurant" for the town you would think that they would keep things clean and make sure they are everything. Also, the town has a weird vibe in Oregon Town. Like I said the young women working are the only thing keeping the customer service and place alive. I definitely will not be coming back to Oregon House being this second/3rd experience was the worst. Sadly this seems like they pick and choose the chosen and everything is private property. Will not be back in Oregon house.

It was $14 and was completely forgettable. The bowl wasn't any where near full. The miso soup was bland. We got the quinoa added and it was totally forgettable. Said it would have green pea and sunflower shoots, but we had none. There were some green onions slices floating around on the top. We ordered two dishes to share and this one didn't fit the bill as a shareable item. For the disappointment we had in the miso it was totally made up by the vegan kale cesar salad. It was a large bowl of yum! Hearty serving of well dressed kale. The Cesar dressing delicious! Slices of cucumber, avocado and chick peas and a beautiful thick slice of bread on top. It was so filling we easily shared it and filled us up. It was $15 only a dollar more than miso broth bowl. It's was so worth every penny. The service was friendly and fast. It's a pick your own table place, which means one usually has to wipe their table down for crumbs. We don't mind. It's a cute place. We found parking fairly easy. Commercial street being blocked off to traffic is nice.
