Looking for a delicious dessert in Kauai that is not shave ice? This is your place. The pies were fresh and delicious and the service friendly! Don't miss out on the passionfruit cheesecake

If I could give this place more than 5 stars I would! From their amazing customer service to amazing tasting pies this place is for sure a must have while in Kaua'i ! We had it last year when visiting and were so very excited to have it again and it was so worth the return! It's off a busy road but there is parking store front and across the street. I did call ahead to order a mini lilikoi cheesecakes and they were super helpful taking my order and sending me a link for me to pay online through a secured site! Pick up was easy, the only hard part was not ordering more. The lilikoi cheesecake is incredible! Perfectly sweet, tart, and cheesecake flavored! We did give in and try a slice of blueberry pina colada and coconut cream and holy hell were they also delicious! Looking forward to future visits and for others to enjoy as much as we did!

We've wanted to stop by The Right Slice before, and this time we finally made it a point -- I'm glad we did. It's a cute little pie shop with both sweet and savory pies, plus some fun local merchandise. The woman working the counter was super nice and helped us with recommendations. We tried the Macadamia Nut Pie and the Mango Lilikoi Pie, and both were excellent. I usually shy away from desserts since they can be overly sweet, but these were perfectly balanced and absolutely delicious. They also serve savory pies, which looked great -- I'll definitely be back to try those next time.

Have passed by this place for years but today finally went in. Different savory and sweet pies as options- we opted for macadamian nut and lillioi cheesecake - both were melt in your mouth delicious. They do go to the farmers market in Poipu at the Longs Drugstore mall - the lines are quite long though. Worth it to go to the store if you can.

We came in right when they opened and I'm so glad we did. This mom and pops shop gives off cozy vibes as you walk in. Like you just walked into your mom's house and has something warm in the oven for you. Their pie selections are superb. I loved the lilikoi flavor so much. It was so refreshing. I wish we'd had time to come back and order so many more. The macadamia nut was as cliche as it sounds very nutty flavor, rich and bursting with flavor. The blueberry Pina colada was a must as well. Their pies are so moist, and the crust should be sold separately because that's my guilty pleasure. Buttery and perfect in every way. Service was excellent, and I loved how the shop had little trinkets as well for sale like bags, coasters etc, something you can bring back home with you. The right slice is the right place for you to stop by when visiting Kauai

While driving around Kaua'i we spotted this spot and decided to make a stop. We were so glad we did. We arrived about an hour before closing and were warmly greeted as soon as we walked in. The person helping us was incredibly friendly and made us feel right at home. We couldn't choose just one slice so we picked up a few. The blueberry pina colada was refreshing with just the right balance of sweet and tart. The mango lilikoi had a bright tangy punch. The macadamia nut slice was rich, nutty, and with the right amount of sweetness. The lilikoi cheesecake was smooth, creamy, and bursting with passionfruit. I would highly recommend this spot!

Lilikoi cheesecake was fabulous. The blueberry coconut was our second favorite but you must have it with some haupia ice cream or it's just okay. The mango and chocolate macnut were a little on the plainer side. I wouldn't go back for those flavors, but the lilikoi cheesecake and blueberry coconut are worth getting again.

Parking in front of the store is limited and may be hard to get out as you have to back out into the street, but it wasn't bad. There were so many pie flavors. We got the Macadamia Nut and the Blueberry Pina Colada. Omg, the blueberry pina colada pie is TO DIE FOR. I wish I could go back and just buy frozen boxes and bring it back to California because this was so fragrant and well done. The service is so nice, and they even have silver tupperware for customers to dine in with rather than the plastic ones. I've been back home for 2 months but I'm still dreaming of their pies.

So happy I got to try some of the yummy desserts from this cute shop in Kaua'i! I wish I came here sooner or got to try the other unique flavors they have. I went in to try Lilikoi cheesecake and also got a coconut cream pie. The coconut cream pie filling was like a light pudding and had a sweet, creamy, coconut flavor, as well as coconut shavings. The pie crust was a little flakey and held together well. With so much fresh coconut on the island, you have to give it a try. Our shuttle driver to the Nā Pali coast raved about lilikoi cheesecake and mentioned it was so good his wife doesn't even allow it in the house anymore lol! I really loved the tart, citrus flavor of the lilikoi and how it gave balance to the sweetness of the cheesecake. I'd love to come back to this cute shop the next time I'm in town. They also have some smoothies/milk tea with boba and other desserts. Parking is in front of the shop on a street that can get a little busy so just keep an eye out while parking and leaving!

Outrageously delicious. The lilikoi mango pie was so insanely fresh and delicious, and the crust that accompanied it was perfect. We also tried the coconut cream pie, which was unlike anything I've ever tasted. There were at least 10 other sweet pie options to choose from, as well as 4+ savory pies. You can buy by the slice, or the two different sized full pies. One of the best parts of our trip to Kauai, hands down.

Loved this place! We got a handful of malasadas that were good!! They almost had the texture of a mochi donut which was fun. Heads up that they were almost out at 11:30 (after opening at 10). We got a slice of the coconut macaroon chocolate pie that was also delicious. Nice workers and fun quirky indoor ambiance. I didn't see any seating JFYI

There were a lot of snacks and baked goods that you could buy to-go. For a physically small food mart, the menu is quite extensive. Unfortunately, they were out of poke and kalua pork which are the main components of the Hawaiian plate so we got the mixed plate A, the lilikoi chiffon cake, and the Loco Moco double patty instead. Aside from that, the service was good. The lady was very sweet and apologetic that they were out of so many items. The mixed plate A was pretty disappointing and would be dragging down the rating to 3 stars if the Loco Moco wasn't the best Loco Moco I've ever had. The rice was so perfectly cooked and fluffy and the gravy had the best consistency. I asked for over-easy eggs that was well seasoned and amazing with the holistic dish. The burger patty was super tender and juicy as well! This hit a homerun and I would not shut up about this dish the entire meal. The lilikoi chiffon cake was definitely a pass. It really wasn't a chiffon cake at all and closer to a pie consistency. It was very tart and the I think the biggest thing was the texture.

We stopped by on a Tuesday around 8:30AM and got our pick of malasadas to try out! Kauai Bakery is located in a shopping plaza with plenty of ample parking, making it very easy to stop by and grab some delicious pastries. Service is like your typical bakery, you pick what you would like and they get it to you so you can stuff your face immediately after purchase. Ambiance is cozy with plenty of pastries to pick from in the large display case. We got 4 flavors of Malasadas for $16, which is $4 per doughnut, which I think is a decent price for the size and heft. The flavors we sampled were Lilikoi, Coconut, and Guava - out of these flavors, the coconut one was my personal favorite! The flavor was exactly what I would want anything coconut cream flavor should taste, creamy texture with a pleasant coconut taste that didn't taste artificial at all. It captured the floral background taste that is missing from a lot of coconut desserts that makes coconut so pleasing to eat! The Lilikoi one was my next favorite, it had a slight tartness and a more subtly pronounced flavor - I think I was looking for something stronger personally. Lastly was the guava one, which actually tasted a bit artificial and didn't have a pronounced flavor at all, which was unfortunate. Despite this critique, I would still glady inhale 2 or 3 of them because the dough was really pillowy and really enjoyable to eat. I think that the pastries here (at least the malasadas) are very solid and priced competitively vs most things here on Kauai. I would totally come back to get several more of the malasadas as well as try the other pastry options on the menu. Stop by and give this bakery a try if you are in the area!
