    French Toast

Sweet breakfast/lunch spot tucked away in a local neighborhood. Ambiance of the converted church adds to the allure. You order at the counter and the food came out fast and hot. I liked my vege eggs Benedict with spinach/green onion on thick toast they said came from La Petite Provence downtown. Hubby had big order of french toast. I'd like to come back when we could sit outside in a charming looking courtyard.

Really cool coffee shop in the Dalles. It's an old church converted to coffee shop and cafe. Got the breakfast sandwich and coffee. They have a special in the morning where the combo is super cheap. Really neat seating area inside. Service was great.

I know avocado toast is a common option, but holy smokes this was hands down the best avo toast I've ever had. The crust of the bread was soft enough for a fork, and the cucumber on it was sooooo tasty! I got a vanilla latte which was a perfect pair. We sat outside in the patio, and it's such a cool space. We had a table with shade and sunshine, I'll definitely be back if I'm in town again. Service was attentive, kind and checked in regularly!

This place was fun to be work from. They open really early and they have food after 8am. I had a latte made to order and the coffee was very smooth and perfectly brewed. I had a fried chicken and it was very tasty and filling. If you are starving this is the place to go for lunch. The gent working behind the counter was very friendly and had a great personality to work with their guests. He was very friendly, counter and very efficient even when they had a wait. The best part of the experience is the building. It is very spacious, welcoming and warm. This place for sure it is a great spot.

The spicy chicken sandwich with fries was fire. The service was also great, and I will be returning.

Great place and food. Service is slow. The hammie Sammie and fried chicken sandwich are my go to. Coffee yes please.

Food is wonderful! My favorite is the Harvest Bagel! A cute cafe in an old church building with lots of light and small town feel, a must!

Had no idea this place was here and I've driven past so many times! It looks so cute and cozy on…read morethe outside! Inside, it appears their main focus is roasting the coffee rather than your typical hipster decor. There is no seating available- more of a grab and go establishment. Service was extremely quick and friendly. I ordered a decaf hazelnut latte since it was the afternoon. I was not disappointed! It was so smooth and the perfect sweetness! I'll have to grab a bag of their beans on my way through next time around.

Coming down from Mount Hood toward Portland, we spotted Mount Hood Roasters in Rhododendron out of…read morethe corner of our eyes, made a quick U-turn, and walked into exactly the kind of coffee experience we hope for in Oregon. I ordered a drip medium roast, grabbed some of their own beans to take home, and added a chocolate chip cookie and a sugar cookie to the order. The coffee was clearly the star here--roasted in-house with the kind of attention to quality you can taste in every sip. This is the type of independent shop that reminds you why you veer off the main road. Cozy and small with a rustic Oregon feel, there's no frills and no seating--just a laser focus on excellent coffee and a few well-chosen treats. The staff were warm and friendly, exactly the kind of welcome you hope for in a roadside discovery. As our Oregon trip winds down, Mount Hood Roasters stands out as one of those local gems you can't help but admire for its simplicity and dedication to doing one thing exceptionally well. Next time we're in the area, it's an automatic stop. If you enjoy coffee, whether your palate runs toward casual or connoisseur, you'll appreciate this place.
