I visited this restaurant on the third Monday of May on the way to drumming. The music was a nice mix and quiet enough for chitchat. I had the chicken Parmesan, and it was really good, and then I had the tiramisu, and it was really good as well. The service was very good, and it was overall a great experience. read more

Worth giving them a shot! Used to be awesome although with pandemic things have changed a bit. Dine in way better than take out! Arugula salad always a favorite although not as good takeout. Very minimal arugula and strawberries...good but not worth $14. Pizza is pretty good! Wings used to be awesome although very average now for the price for sure. I know they can get it together so would not count them out. Had some great meals in the past! Just need to improve their take out meals. Paying same price for food. Not getting same quality! I was here a couple of years ago and rated this place sort of "meh", but this time was much better. The beer selection has not improved a great deal....kind of a Bud/Bud Light place, but adequate...on tap "Street Rail" from Berkshire brewing (S Deerfield MA) was quite good. What is not good, is the lax attitude about masks in their restaurant. The food is fabulous but sadly we have to take a break for a while. Staff is not vigilant about asking other diners to mask up. Also, every time we visit we get the same snippy waitress who really is a terrible server. She behaves as if you are inconveniencing her life by your asking her for things. UGH! Can't do it anymore. Busy Friday night and first time here. Had the roasted garlic appetizer. My wife had the Chicken Parm dinner and I had the Pappardelle Bolognese. From a portion perspective my wife's main was ridiculous. One small cutlet in the middle of the dish and, since she chose fresh zucchini instead of pasta she got a few slivers of zucchini. My wife and I have eaten at the previous restaurant that was at the same location and really liked it. We were hoping that this new place would have the same style and quality. Unfortunately it's a pretty big drop off. We waited about an hour to actually get our food that we ordered. There are even people that came in after us and were served food while we were still waiting. When we did get the food, it was very mediocre. The waitress, while friendly at first, clearly was aware of the bad service and instead of being attentive and apologetic she just distanced herself from us. There are so many better options in the Berkshires for lunch. We wont come here again. read more

Hubby and I ate there for dinner a few weeks ago. Took us right away and we sat outside in a sparse, not very attractive fenced-in area. We ordered burgers which were good but they charge extra for lettuce and tomatoes which is ridiculous. The service was very nice but won't be running back there too soon. read more

Staff could use some lessons in customer service. Can't comment on the food because unfortunately there wasn't a table available for us when we went. Went in last night as a party of 7, 4 adults and 3 kids around 5:30. Did not have a reservation. First person I spoke to was friendly and began setting up a table for us. Then a woman, maybe the hostess? Manager? Came up to me very briskly and said we don't have a table for you. Ok we'll wait. Mind you there is no real place to stand out of the way and I am 8.5 months pregnant standing waiting with my 3 kids under 5. There was one 4 top table open and she said there was a 2 top opening up and maybe she would be able to move that table over to seat us....IF that waitress would be willing to give up the table in her section. Ummmm ok. Party of 3 adults walk in right past us and are immediately sat in that last open 4 top table (despite 3, 4 seat high top tables being open but not a option for us with 3 small kids). So I ask her if she was going to have a table for us, waiting for 15 minutes at this point, and she rudely responds nope the server wouldn't give up their table. I honestly couldn't believe her ambivalence to our service, comfort, or business. I understand if there's no tables available then there's no tables available. But they could have made it work. She could have at the very least been friendly! I left in tears feeling very offended. read more

I was disappointed. Stopped in for lunch & ordered the Pastrami Ruebin. Two bites was enough for me. Loaded with fatty gristle meat. I've never had Pastrami that was inedible. Bottom side of bread soggy. I don't understand how that could happen to a simple sandwich. Waitress didn't ask how everything was. We are visiting the area, staying close by and I wanted pizza. Everything was great from the moment we walked in. Greeted immediately, seated right away and our server was right there taking care of us as she did the entire time. We each ordered small pizzas. We could have shared one, but because they had so many ingredients to chose from this was a chance to get exactly what we each wanted. My husband had beer, I had red wine. I asked our server to make sure my crust was crispy and she did. Of course we couldn't finish it, but we are staying in a place with a kitchen so we took the leftovers back with us. We eat out quite frequently. Unfortunately, we won't be back to the Roasted Garlic anytime soon. Have given it a second chance. Here's my take- First time we went. Three of us, all adults. My husband generally get lbs a burger with all the fixings. A definite pro here is their fries are hand cut. That's a plus for sure. Going the extra step is awesome. They were good too. My daughter had a pasta dish she liked very much. I can only eat small amounts, so I usually order a side or two. I asked for meatballs. I only wanted one or two, she told me 2.00 a meatball so cool, sounded good. I asked for a little sauce and cheese, I'll pay the difference. No big deal. I ended up being charged a menu item price, 11.00. The meatballs so tiny and the sauce and cheese was a joke. I didn't care for her attitude when she said it was "just easier to charge me the item on menu". Well had I known that I would have gotten the fries or chips and given them to my husband or daughter. Not good business. Second time we went for a pizza. Try it again, I'm fair. Pizza and a soda, 29.14. In today's day and age, I can't believe they charge for soda refills. Most places do not anymore. Oh well... I'll be visiting Patrick's Pub more often as they are awesome and refills are included and they don't nickel and dime you. Two stars, they food was pretty good, but it's the other stuff that they can keep. P.s. I'm not cheap. We spend. We usually order plenty of food-I just don't care for the nickel and dime-ing stuff. We saw an impatience, a look like she didn't want to be bothered talking your order. And, when the restaurant didn't have a side item that was supposed to come with the meal, she didn't replace it with another item (nor did she even mentioned it. Rather, she seemed annoyed of the mentioning of it. Hey, not our fault that you failed to compensate or even have the item!! Don't like serving people? Once we did receive our drinks & place our orders, our salads took another 15 mins. The place was so loud, we couldn't hear each other half the time! The entrees were OK but the service was the WORST! The waitress was too busy paying attention to older men sitting behind us. U asked the waitress for lemon for my salmon. After eating the green beans & fingerling potatoes, I had to wait for her to show up. When she did, she brought me a slice of lemon, cut in half! Had such high hopes for this place after reading such glowing reviews. Struggling to figure out why anyone would rate it so highly. For us, it was average at best. Ordered roasted head of garlic for app - one of their "signature" dishes. Definitely have had better; not worth rave reviews. It came with 4 pieces of toasted bread. When the hostess put it on our table, she asked if we wanted more bread. We did and she brought 4 more small pieces. When we got the bill, surprised to find that the restaurant charged us for those extras. Though it would still have been annoying, it would have been better had she told us that upfront. The server did take it off the bill though after we asked. My son loved his meatball dish but he has not really met a meatball that he doesn't like! Arugula and berry salad was just okay - needs toasted nuts to enhance the flavors (a suggestion we made to server). Also had the margherita pizza which was just mediocre.
