Loaded Jalapeno Fries , Crispy Chicken sandwich, crinkle cut French Fries, and a Strawberry Milkshake with real Malt.

This family owned and operated restaurant is fantastic! They have a great menu of a variety of burgers, sandwiches hot & cold, and some great appetizers. Plus real malts, shakes, and multiple ice cream concoctions. Every time I eat here, it is excellent. The staff is excellent. They are not only friendly, and more than efficient, they keep the restaurant spotless! Constantly cleaning, and changing fryer oil for fresh oil every single week. Impressive!!! Which really makes a difference on flavor. I never knew this extremely old and historic building could be so exceptionally clean. It looks (and smells) great. And is constantly busy, yet I never have to wait long for my order. They make their own Garlic & Herb bread, and Mom's authentic potato salad. I am craving that potato salad right now! My husband was thrilled to get a real Malt milkshake. And jalapeño fries loaded with their original jalapeño cheese spread, pickled jalapeños, green onions and sour cream. On another visit I had steak tacos at Shandy's that were stuffed with flavorful tender beef, and plenty of yummy extras, including Shandy's original cilantro lime dressing. Oh, and I make great burgers at home... so, I know a good burger when I eat one. Shandy's makes the best burgers!!!

Wandered into this place with other 2 people as we felt like a burger for lunch that day. Service was fine- nothing special. Placed our order, 1 beef and 2 bison burgers with other ingredients what sounded ok. Instead of fries, I decided to order their 'zucchini sticks'- figured it'd be a good way to pretend I was eating something healthy, even though they were a dollar more expensive that the large fries. Burgers came after a while- good bread and nicely done, but the patties felt a bit off- like previously frozen, and there wasn't any distinguishable difference in flavor between the beef and bison burgers- which also were a bit too rare in the center. The zucchini stick came in and what I found inside the little box was at best laughable. Just 56- tiny slices of zucchini with some parmesan sprinkled on top. That was probably about half a zucchini in there, and their marinara sauce was from a little container. All for $6? A swift kick in the nuts, that was. I'm not coming back to this one.

We like the street tacos. Great new addition to the community! They do wonderful things for the school children as well!

Great food, can't wait until they get outdoor, shaded seating so all dogs can join their family as they dine.

It's more than just a market. Yes, they have the usual grocery and sundry items, but they also have clothes. Souvenirs. Some hardware items. Fishing and camping gear. They have a decent hot and cold deli, and they also do espresso drinks. I stopped by the deli, and I decided to have the pastrami on provolone with rye bread. It also came with the usual fixings, lettuce, tomato, mayo, and Dijon mustard.. I got my sandwich and took it out front to enjoy the nice day. The sandwich was huge! They were very generous with the pastrami, all of the Fixin's played very well with the pastrami, and I loved that rye bread. The bread didn't hold up to the sandwich perfectly, it was falling apart, just a little bit, but hey. It happens. It was just an absolutely excellent sandwich. I was going to stop at half, but it was so good, I finished the whole thing, and waddled away. The price for this great sandwich and a soda was extremely reasonable. Next time I'm up here, I will be back. Thanks.

If I had any questions, she had the answers. I bought some hard fruit candies, and also a small salami with Berkshire, pork, (a higher quality, pork,) and black truffles. Oh my God... This was like a good salami on steroids! Rich, savory, but not overly so. What I paid for it was a little bit on the higher end, but for what I got, it was extremely reasonable.
