Ca phe sua da was pretty standard, a bit on the sweet side. Egg roll had very little filling and the meat tasted stale. The pate chaud was basically all pastry and small ball of meat in the center. This meat didn't taste fresh either I couldn't finish any of this food.

*** Vegetarian Review *** If you're looking for a quick, high-quality bite on your way out of Anaheim, THH Sandwiches and Coffee is a great spot. It's located less than a mile from the Disneyland parking lots, making it a perfectly convenient stop on your way to the airport. Because it's right on the corner, you don't have to stray too far from the main road to the Long Beach Airport (LGB). For a regional comparison: if you love Huong Lan in South Sacramento, you'll be a fan of this spot. Although they don't have the extensive plant-based banh mi options that Huong Lan offers, THH absolutely wins on the foundation of any great sandwich--the bread. THH wins the Battle of the Bread. Would I come back? Absolutely. I live over 400 miles away and I've already returned twice in two months. My last two trips to Disney have both ended with a mandatory stop at THH before catching my flight at LGB. If you need a quick, satisfying bite, this place delivers. What to Order: Vegetarian Bahn Mi / Bi Chay ($6.35 | Grade: A): This features shredded tofu with all the normal fixings. The pickling isn't too pickled and the jalapenos aren't too jalapeno-ey. (not too sour and not too hot) The shredded tofu itself is incredibly flavorful and visually appealing. I love that they lather a generous amount of mayonnaise on both sides of the baguette, keeping every bite soft. Best of all, the bread isn't overly toasted, so you don't leave with scar wounds on the roof of your mouth. Vegetarian Spring Roll (Off-Menu Special): This wasn't explicitly listed, but we pointed to the meat version and asked, "Can you make this vegetarian or chay?" It ended up being better than any other veggie spring roll I've tried. It's hard to pinpoint exactly why since the ingredients and dipping sauces are usually standard across shops--maybe I was just on a sugar high from snacking my way through Disney, or maybe it was the execution. It was tightly wrapped, absolutely overflowing with ingredients, and somehow didn't explode. Every bite was as good as the last. Tip: Call ahead if you want this! Give them at least an hour's notice. On our last trip, they couldn't make it on the spot, but they mentioned that calling in advance allows them to accommodate the request. Bottom Line: This is a small, friendly spot where the lady working the front seems to know everyone who walks through the door. There is limited seating inside since it shares space with a boba shop, but the food comes out fast.

Was looking for a quick bite to-go for my road trip home and came across THH. It's spacious inside with seating options and also tied to another boba shop next to it. The service was good, we came early morning so only one other person was there. We got our order quickly. The banh mi thit nuong was the best!! It was so delicious, well marinated.

THH is located in a small plaza and shares a space with Tastea. I find THH to be really consistent and they get my order right every time, which I appreciate (I'm one of those people who likes my banh mi cut in half with veggies on the side). The grilled pork banh mi is just divine; the meat is a little sweet and pairs well with the crunchy pickled vegetables, jalapeno, and cilantro. Their goi cuon/egg rolls are also good but they didn't really taste that fresh anymore when I ordered around early afternoon. There isn't a ton of seating at this location but it's definitely good for a quick lunch.

Order the grilled pork sandwich and two iced Vietnamese iced coffee's. The sandwiches are always good here and so is the coffee. Came during the lunch time rush and it was very busy. Service is friendly and ambience inside was chill. A lot of parking is available.

This is like a really pretty, so you agree it's pretty, THH location. It's also the holidays, so they have their shop all decked out with holiday lights around their shop, but they have a nice dining inside. All their menu items are ordered over the counter and you can dine in or do takeout. I got a takeout order of the House Sandwich Dac Biet Banh Mi, which came with the cold cuts of meat and pate. The sandwich itself was pretty huge, but was good with every bite. Staff is also friendly here. The register lady was like telling me about their 50 cents card charge if purchase is under $10, but didn't pressure me to buy more. Instead, she said it's only 50 cents if I just wanted the banh mi, so really appreciate the no pressure attitude. Second lady made my sandwich and it came out within a few minutes. Parking can be tight over here and parking faces the high traffic area of Ball Rd. There's a lot of pedestrian traffic also, along with tons of businesses around the area, so just be prepared if it gets busy. But yeah, worth a stop if you want some good Vietnamese sandwiches and plate meals.

2nd time visiting this location Didn't open on time as few others were waiting but appeared to be addressing a spill of sorts so all ok Person taking the order did what was needed Due note cash is preferred Line appeared steadily after taking order Online ordering appears to be available after 745am This time tried their vegetarian tofu sandwich It was ok if that Bread was crunchy but cold Seem to appear filling but really a lot more bread than actual filling Not expecting an overflowing sandwich but portions are smaller compare to other places with similar pricing for almost $7 after tax The tofu is shredded tofu skin? And had a taste that seems rubbery or chalky, not sure but it wasn't very tofu like but the house sauce helps with some of the flavoring. Pickle veggies and cucumbers couldn't really taste though visibly there I don't think I will return back to this location in a while maybe to try out their other drinks if that just seem very lacking on quality this time around.

The service is quick and there is decent seating. The bathroom is OK. I usually go to the Westminster location, but tried the Anaheim one this time since I was in the area. We got an iced coffee, cold cut sandwich, grilled pork sandwich, grilled pork rice plate and combination spring rolls. Everything was good, but I think the rice plate was my least favorite! I also dined with someone who has a shrimp allergy, and the workers advised against eating even the non-shrimp spring rolls because there was high likelihood of cross contamination. It was nice of them to warn us since the question was just whether there was shrimp in the sausage spring roll. Coffee was strong as usual, so I didn't end up drinking it all, but would still buy it next time. Everything is a good value, so I would definitely come by again if I'm in the area.

Bottom Line Up Front: THH Sandwiches & Coffee is my go-to chain when I want to-go Vietnamese food, and this location doesn't disappoint. The Background: Tan Hoang Huong (or THH) has built a reputation for offering some of the most delicious banh mi (Vietnamese submarine sandwiches, pronounced "bun me") in Southern California, so much so that it now has multiple locations throughout Orange County. But it also serves other traditional Vietnamese fare like noodle soups, porridge, and appetizers. This review, however, will focus only on this Anaheim location. The Food: My wife and I got several dishes for a family gathering. They all ranged from decent to delicious. Here's a brief rundown: * Banh Mi Heo Quay: This crispy pork belly sandwich was absolutely tasty (though they pulled back on the meat portion). * Banh mi Dac Biet: You can never go wrong with this classic combo if you want a cold submarine. * Bun Rieu: This crab cake vermicelli soup had excellent flavors, though it was light on the crab cake meat. * Banh Cuon Nhan Thit: Meant as a light breakfast, these pork-filled flour sheets are good any time of day * Mi Xao: The stir fry egg noodles were actually just OK; a little dry. * Cha Gio: These are one of the store-bought pork egg rolls you can get in Southern California * Caphe Sua Da: This Vietnamese Iced Coffee is strong, authentic, and delicious. The Location: In an interesting twist, THH shares this location with a Tastea inside a strip mall at the corner of Ball and Euclid. It's not the best location, but the store itself is clean and well kept. Unfortunately, it's set up as a to-go joint, so there was only one table and four stools available. I saw a handful of tables set up closer to the Tastea area. Definitely not an ideal spot if you're looking for a dine-in place or hangout spot for your group of friends during peak hours. The Service: Like most Vietnamese restaurants, high-quality customer service can sometimes be lacking. Don't get me wrong, it's not that the employees are rude or incompetent. They are quick and efficient. It's just that you won't get many smiles or extra friendly attention that you might get from a sitdown Western establishment. Ironically enough, understanding this going in will make your experience more pleasant. The Prices: Considering that we bought more than half a dozen items and our bill came out to be only about $100 -- in this inflated economy -- we're happy to still find good food at affordable prices. The Conclusion: While I wish it could be a more welcoming hangout spot (like a cool cafe) and some of the meat portions were a little on the light side, the fact that we can still buy authentic Vietnamese food that's actually tasty and doesn't break the bank makes THH a high-value to-go spot. My real rating is 4.5 out of 5, but since I can't give half stars, I'll round up. We will return.

It stayed consistently busy during my Thursday morning visit, so it can get pretty lively and a bit noisy. If you're planning to study or work, there are plenty of outlets, which is a huge plus. Just keep in mind that most of the tables are fairly low and small, so I found the bar seating to be the most comfortable option for getting work done. The staff were friendly and welcoming from the moment I walked in. They made sure to acknowledge everyone entering the cafe, even during the rush, and were happy to answer any questions about their drinks. Overall, I think this cafe is definitely worth checking out. My friends and I ordered a handful of different drinks - Matcha Latte, Coconut Matcha latte, coconut matcha and Banana Coffee. I really enjoyed my experience at Little Ox Coffee! Even though it was busy, there still were tons…read moreof seats available and the line moved quickly. The design of the space is clever---there are bench seats along the wall, long tables in the middle, and small circle tables on the sides. It's efficient and maximizes seating without feeling cramped or crowded. It's also an East-facing shop so it's shady--- even at 3 PM it was nice and cool inside. There are also some outlets! I would definitely study here if I was in the area. Gabe was really friendly, and helped me choose a great latte. I bought the Single Origin Okumidori Matcha iced latte, and it was the perfect level of sweetness. I didn't even have to adjust the level by some percentage; the standard blend is fresh, with just enough sugar to accent rather than overpower the beautiful matcha flavor. Huge shoutout to Gabe and the Little Ox Coffee staff!!!!

Staff here is excellent very well educated on all the drinks that they are serving. They have no problem telling you exactly what is and everything they're super Duper helpful this space is actually super cute and spacious. You can actually get some work done here if they have a separate room with a large dining style type table vegan have a meeting at or bring your friends and work together. The pastry section is pretty decent here. I actually do like the ham and cheese croissants pretty good. I would say give it a try. After my next trip, I will actually list out all the different drinks that I've had and rate each one separately, no matter what I come here, no less than once or twice a week
