Was excited for Thai food, but honestly wished we had gone to a more authentic Thai restaurant with a larger menu selection. We were pretty much the only ones there, which probably should have been a sign on a Saturday night. The plaza itself is pretty run down, but the inside was actually cute and had a cozy little bistro vibe. The staff was nice, but the food was unfortunately very underwhelming. The tom yum soup was too sweet for our taste, and the pork noodle dish was pretty disappointing overall. We didn't enjoy the flavor or seasoning of the pork, and the dish itself just felt poor quality and extremely overpriced for what it was. We also added extra noodles to the tom yum, and I believe the menu said it was a $2 add on, but we were charged $3. Not a huge difference, just more the principle of it. read more

I've driven by so often I finally decided to try. The parking lot is small but there is plenty of parking. Be careful of some uneven areas and potholes though. I ordered online and arrived after the estimated pickup time and was told they were still working on it. There was a bench to sit and wait but the restaurant is much bigger than it looks from the outside. The cashier and cook were super nice and welcoming and packed everything nicely. I decided to get the Spicy Basil Salmon to try and wow it had sooo much flavor. The salmon didn't have a smell like some places and the flavors meshed well together and exploded in my mouth. I did think it was a bit expensive ($25), but I was happy to eat it at least. The thai tea was also pretty good, wasn't too sweet. The quality of the food shines and you can tell everything is made with lots of love. It's like going home to your Mom's house on an empty stomach, knowing you're about to be completely satiated by a carefully crafted homemade meal. My husband loves panang and it definitely ranks at one of his top list. The flavors were deep and the spice was just right. I am a noodle fein and the roasted pork dry noodles hit the spot! I have been looking for something with similar flavors for such a long time, and have finally found it! The medium spice burned just right and I kept digging back in for more! My kids are usually picky and they happily gobbled up their food! And of course the mango sticky rice is just as amazing as it looks in photos. We had to fight over it between the 4 of us. I've had this place in mind for a while after seeing the reviews on yelp, driven past it a handful of times and honestly the exterior of the store and plaza is pretty unappealing. We were the only people in the restaurant when we arrived and throughout eating. The tables were a bit sticky but aside from that the interior was nice and clean. Their lower reviews complained of small portions and high prices but prices felt on par with most restaurants these days and portions were larger than I or my mom could finish. They weren't skimpy on the noodles or the meat and both of our dishes easily could've been saved for another meal. The service was nice and straightforward albeit the food took a little long to come out, around 20 minutes after we ordered. We got the B&P Noodle Soup & the pork noodles. The noodle soup was extremely flavorful, spicy, limey, and salty. The pork noodles were great as well, the pork very soft and tender and had no type of odor. I was a bit indecisive about adding egg to mine and ultimately said no and the owner split the egg that came with the Noodle Soup onto mine so I thought that was really thoughtful. The thai tea was also solid although I personally wish it were a bit creamier. I think if they had more distinct branding/advertisement (it's hard to tell what kind of restaurant they are or what they serve from just driving by) it could really help. Without yelp, I don't think I would've ever thought to try this place off their exterior alone but service and food is definitely good and worth a try. read more

We had salmon salad, larb noodle salad and barbecue beef. We started with a calamari appetizer that came with a tasty sauce. I had a green Thai tea. The barbecue beef comes with purple rice and steamed veggies. It is also served with a spicy tamarind sauce. The service was exceptional. Our server, Mook took excellent care of us. I'm blown away with the spectacular food, super friendly service, and love that it's a small owned business. I ordered takeout: medium spicy B&P noodle soup and mango sticky rice (seasonal). Everything is made fresh to order! The soup was light, the lemongrass, cilantro and onions flavors really come through in the broth. The noodles were perfectly cooked& it came with 2 shrimps, 2 fish cakes, ground chicken, and one half of an egg. (If you don't like spicy I recommend choosing the mild option.) The mango sticky rice had 2 juicy & fresh mangos and the rice was so tender and sweet, the coconut milk ties the whole dish together. I ordered lunch here online for pickup. They called me right after I placed my online order on their website. I had ordered their seasonal mango and sticky rice, but it was out of season so they refunded me, which was nice. I ordered their coco noodle soup with mild spice, dumplings and Thai green milk tea. Pick up was easy. I had to wait a bit for the Thai green milk tea and for the refund that they paid me in cash. The woman that served me was super friendly and asked me if it was my first time there, which it was. The place is small inside, only two tables, one large and one medium. It seemed like the place was under construction as most of it was cut off and dark. It was probably good that I got take out. My soup was really good, it was flavorful and not too spicy. I loved the generous amount of mushrooms and fresh ingredients. The dumplings were really good and went well with my soup. The chicken filling was moist inside and the wonton was soft and still warm. I did order extra dumpling sauce on accident. When you order online it says you have to pick a sauce and it costs an extra dollar, but it doesn't say that it already comes with sauce so that was a little annoying. I bought an extra for no reason. The green milk Thai tea was really good and had a unique floral taste to it and it wasn't too creamy. The crushed ice went well with it. I wouldn't come back. Things are priced way too high here (especially compared to their prices from a few years ago) especially since most of it is basic street food and the portions are not family style but individual. The taste isn't as good as when I first started coming and sometimes they skimp on ingredients. Just look at the menu on their website then compare to photos on here to see the low value. Garlic pepper shrimp is $20 (before tax) for 5 pieces of shrimp. I replicated a dish and it cost me about $8 per serving but they charge $20+ for a single serving here. The roti was $3.50 for a small triangle I was so irritated by that. Appetizers are so small for the price and the drink prices are laughable. Rice is always mushy and mostly white rice. I can't believe they charge $15 (pre tax) for mango sticky rice when it costs a few dollars to make. I have been here a few times at different times of day and it's almost always empty which should be the owner's clue the pricing is off relative to portion, quality, below average ambiance and location, etc. because a few dishes taste good and I've never had a truly bad dish here to be honest but overall food is ok and leans too sweet. I am always still hungry after eating here and I don't have a large appetite. You can go to nearby areas like Westminster or Garden Grove and get the same or better quality for a better value I think the owners chose this location because they knew they couldn't compete with these prices and portions with similar restaurants. read more
