Our waiter was not much of a conversationist. He poured our waters without addressing us. He came to take our orders, and we asked if he had any recommendations? He replied stating it all depends on what we wanted. Not the answer we were looking for. The salads were fresh and crisp, however, the sour cream salad dressing and potato chips felt off. The brisket sandwich was dry. The highlight of our meal was the fried chicken and waffles which the restaurant is known for. It was good, but not best I've ever tasted. The bar is able to make drinks not listed in the menu such as the Bloody Mary and espresso martini.

A few days before visiting the area, my brother showed me a video of how they make fresh mozzarella in house and I really, really wanted to try it. In addition to the fresh mozzarella dish, I got a glass of wine and we ordered some calamari. Watching them, serve the fresh mozzarella at the table with such a delight. The mozzarella dish and the calamari were both delicious. This area seems to be a slightly more busy part of town, but this place has a large lot and we found parking really easily. It was also on a weekday.

Worth a visit for the starters and great service and very good atmosphere --just wish the main matched the high bar set by the rest of the menu! The patio was beautiful but if you cannot do warm temperature, highly recommend sitting inside since I personally was struggling due to heat.

That's honestly the most disappointing part because the place sounded like somewhere we would have really enjoyed. I would strongly recommend making the dress code much more visible to guests before they make the drive. We left feeling like the entire trip was a waste, and unfortunately, we won't be coming back.

Hidden Gem with Exceptional Drinks and Food! I was blown away by this place! The food alone would make it worth the visit -- the burger was absolutely incredible -- juicy, flavorful, and cooked to perfection. But what really sets this bar apart is the quality of their drinks and the attention to detail that goes into every ingredient. You can tell they're using top-shelf, high-end products in everything they serve. A huge shoutout to Skyler, the bar manager, who made our experience even better. Skyler's knowledge of mixology is seriously impressive -- every drink recommendation was on point, and the passion for the craft really came through. It's rare to find someone who combines skill, personality, and genuine hospitality so effortlessly. Word is they'll soon be transitioning into a full cocktail bar with a speakeasy vibe, and honestly, I can't wait. If this is just the preview, the next phase is going to be incredible. Poorest service in town by a visibly intoxicated "server" who spilled our $250 bottle of Cab Franc wine while trying to pour on top of our already served Cab Sav glasses. They initially wanted to seat us outside because they had a "full house ". I counted tops 4 other groups from 7-10 pm and very empty for a Saturday night. 6 staff members hanging out intermittently in a back room drinking and not tending to patrons. None took responsibility for our VISIBLY very intoxicated "server" who was literally bumping into tables and chairs. Felt bad for the live folk music singer and the reason we chose this disaster, who played for the 10 or so of us present. Service charges are automatically included in your tab so I guess that's why they don't care. Too beautiful of a town and too many amazing places to go to waste your time, energy and money here. I know for a fact that the "server" will be there as long as the place is open so I will take my business elsewhere. read more

What an incredible discovery and experience in St. Helena! The host/owner Heidi was exceptionally warm and welcoming. The wine selection is impressively diverse, showcasing the finest local wines. However, their own Night Wines, in particular, are a standout--an absolute "must-try", especially for red wine enthusiasts.
