It was all those things and didn't disappoint. Chicken parm was not fried. Was Bell & Evans chicken breast not beat to hell. Was plump, juicy and flavorful. Maybe the best I've ever had. Bolognese was equally good. I'm glad we split everything so we could each try a number of different options. We were out on time and never felt rushed if you can believe it. Instead, my plate contained a chicken breast, the drumette portion of the wing, and the leg, but no thigh. As someone who prefers dark meat, the thigh was the part I was most looking forward to. I mentioned this to our waitress, who was very pleasant, but before leaving I also asked if I could speak with the manager or the chef to understand why the dish was served this way. Unfortunately, no one came out to speak with me. I was hungry, so I ate what I could rather than sending it back, but it left me disappointed. If the restaurant serves something other than what most people would consider a true half chicken, I think the menu should make that clear. Better communication would have prevented my disappointment. The service and cocktail were excellent, but because the entrée was the main reason for my visit, I left feeling let down.
