Rooftop refresher

This was my second time here and the views are beautiful. It overlooks the Plymouth waterfront. It has a cozy and fun vibe. This was a Friday evening and they started playing live music while we were there. The food was amazing. I highly recommend the lobster flatbread, which my friends and I shared for an appetizer. For my meal, I got the salmon, which was delicious and very flavorful. The staff were very polite and the Owner came by to check on us and we got chatting for a bit. He provided my friends and I with a round of drinks on the house, which was very nice. Overall, we loved the experience and would definitely be back.

Stopped in for cocktail and view. It was beautiful. Well worth the stop you can see all of downtown Plymouth

Restaurant week in Plymouth. The Terrace Rooftop Dining. Very nice dining experience. We made reservations for 5:30. Glad we did, as many people came at 6 pm and later. Megan, our server, took very good care of us. Food was excellent. Halfway through the meal, she is practically dancing in her seat as she finished the Chicken Saltimbocca. Tiramisu presented was a bonus in taste. My medium steak tips were perfect. Enjoyed the pureed potatoes with the garlic, parsley and sage added Long, seasoned green beans atop were just wonderful.

The view is gorgeous!! Our waitress Kathy was very good, my one complaint was she never came over to see how our food was. The pork belly appetizer was sooo good, the Japanese sweet potato and fig Demi glaze was perfect. The ribeye was so tasty and cooked well, but I found it awful small for the price. The clam vignole was good but not great. The dessert was really good and the presentation was really cute. I fluctuated between 3-4 but went with 3 because of the prices/portion size

We went for Valentine's Dinner. Our server, Meghan, was very pleasant and took time to answer questions about the menu and the restaurant. It was a three course menu that was so delicious and beautifully plated it could have been served at any James Beard or Michelin restaurant. The scenery was as delightful as the meal, we looked over the ocean from the large windows on three sides of the restaurant. This is someplace to visit often.

Had a fabulous dinner here tonight! The outdoor seating is fabulous with the ocean views. Our waitress Cassie checked in efficiently and was attentive and kind. The manager (?) owner (?) was walking around, checking on tables, and checking in with his staff. He came over and asked how our meal was -- everyone loved their meals! Chicken saltimbocca was tasty, fish sandwich was awesome (particularly the tartar sauce), poke bowl and vegan bowl were beautiful and delicious. Cocktails were an A+ as well. Loved it!!! Great spot for a family dinner, girls night or date.

Sooo view ehhh when you have lived in plymouth... not so impressed. Service was soooo not ok! Ive been here 3 times all equally as bad. Food yummm and drinks great as well so hopefully they get more staff!

Would have to agree with the other reviewers who said that this place has potential. Great views, and the rooftop dining was cool. But service was so so. Had a long wait to get order taken and had no silverware when food was served - had to wait another 5-10 minutes until we got it. Food was so so as well. Asked for medium rare on the steak tips, but came out well done. Drinks were excellent however. Would probably give this spot another chance.

While I can appreciate the choose your own adventure / tasting concept and benefits of moving at your own pace, wine tasting is something where I'd prefer to have more of a personal touch. The storytelling and personal connection was missing, and made the experience feel a bit hollow. The space was a nice open hang and there's snacks and games, and there is staff there, but the experience made me realize I prefer a guided human tour for some things, wine tasting being one of them. Prices also snuck up on us a bit, it's easy to lose count of how many you've had with the card reader. I was also a bit bummed to find that if you liked a wine you cannot purchase a bottle on site. But I'm glad I tried it and had fun.

I ordered the bone-in veal chop and it was absolutely fantastic, cooked perfectly and full of flavor. What really stood out, beyond the food, was how welcoming the staff was. We'll definitely be back and would highly recommend it to anyone dining in Plymouth.

We got the Brie and Hummus as an appetizer, and it was both sweet and savory. The roasted garlic and raisins were a unique touch. More bread would be preferred. Bread for the table is available upon request, and is sort of skimpy. But honestly, it's probably so your appetite isn't spoiled. For dinner, I got the filet and it was to die for! Absolutely divine! Other people at my table ordered the steak with parmesan fries, scallops, and pear salad. Everyone was impressed. We ended with Espresso Martinis and the Mud Pie for dessert. The pie was INCREDIBLE! I was expecting pudding or a trifle of some sort, but it was actually more like an ice cream pie with heath that just melted in your mouth. My table of 6 shared it. Our waitress was a little abrasive at first, but she grew on us and steered us in the right direction menu-wise. I will absolutely be back!

We started with a few appetizers (arancini and shrimp in a sauce, plus bread service). These were good, the shrimp was a clear hit with our table. A few cocktails were ordered that were strong (this was not a negative, just a precaution). The five of us each ordered a different entree and one thing was consistent with all of them: a heavy hand with salt. Portions were large and everyone went home with leftovers. However, most of these were discarded the next day since the extra salt was even more noticeable. Easy to get to, easy to get a table, good drinks and appetizers. Lots of seats at the bar (although it seemed some customers there were cold despite the double doors designed to keep the frigid winter air away). However, the entrees were such a disappointment that it's unlikely we will return anytime soon.

There's tons of parking, and the restaurant itself is right off of route 3/very easy to get to. We were seated in a booth, which was cozy, but the restaurant has a modern, clean vibe. Our server was lovely, came over right away with menus, and checked in regularly throughout the meal. We started with a baby arugula salad that we split, which was very generously portioned with parmesan, fresh lemon, and tuscan olive oil - while fairly simple, it was delicious and a great start to the meal. For dinner, my fiend ordered the linguine carbonara, which was very generously portioned, with bacon, a poached egg, cream, and peas. I ordered the prosciutto and mozzarella stuffed chicken, which was panko crusted. With a Dijon cream, served over a creamy risotto. It was absolutely delicious. It was so generously portioned, I had this for dinner, and two subsequent lunches (they pack up the leftovers really nicely for you). We will absolutely be back to explore more of the menu!

Winsor is Wonderful!…read more I see that Yelpers do not love Winsor due to the low ratings and reviews but I have to ask why. What I will say is if you read these bad reviews you might be surprised at what people complain about. But, on a more positive note, this will be my 3rd time dining here and everytime has been wonderful (hence my title). The food, ambiance, drinks, etc. you really can't go wrong with any of them. And, the drive there is also stunning. Duxbury as you know is a beautiful beach and golf city with million dollar homes along the way. Cha-Ching! I arrived a little early while I waited for my friend to arrive. The restaurant was not overly crowded which was good for a Friday evening. We sat right near the fireplace which was super nice. When my friend arrived we started with some drinks. Then we were so torn as to what to order so we started with their Tuna Crudo. My favorite since it was super fresh, melt in your mouth sashimi. Yummy! Then we shared a salad which was just ok. For entrees, she ordered the Linquine Vongole which looked good but a huge portion. I ordered Fluke for the first time and although it wasn't what I am used to, I still enjoyed it. We passed on dessert and had coffee with amaro; they have some nice after dinner drinks. All I have to say is go see for yourself that this gorgeous, south shore spot is perfect for any occassion. Or even if you want to grab a glass of wine/drink and sit at the bar, that sounds good too! Cheers~!

Cocktails are usually good. But Winnie entrees have been consistently under seasoned and underwhelming these last visits. On our last visit, one dish was so bad that much was inedible (and even what was consumed was mediocre). Vibes are good, so maybe just come for a drink and apps at the bar. We ended up switching the reservation to 7:30 pm which the hostess accommodated. When we arrived, the restaurant was not busy, but they told us they were not ready for us so we set at the bar and waited; not a problem because I am sure they do not have an abundance of staff scheduled. Bar service was great! We were seated after 15 minutes. We sat outside. The food was good; not great, not bad. It was expensive, but I knew the prices going in. The really disappointing aspect was the service. Our waitress had four tables, including us (3 tables of 2 people, 1 table of 4 people). The waitress was kind, but REALLY inattentive to us. I had to ask for silverware three times. I had to stop the waitress after about 15 minutes of waiting to ask if we could put in another drink order, get some water and order appetizers. Part of the pricing of the menu, I assumed, was great service; and it just wasn't there. I did not want/need my hand held, but I expected at least the service I would get at a 99 or Friendly's. I mentioned it to the hostess upon leaving, and even spoke to the restaurant manager when checking out because she happened to be there. I did not want or need anything comped or for free, but just wanted to provide feedback from a first time customer who was staying at the resort. The hostess that night listen to my concern and apologized, the manager really wanted nothing to do with me because they were seating parties for lunch. Again, food was good and the service was just not good.
