Always have to stop in the hat store - it's a rite of passage! This time I didn't find anything to purchase. I was intent on finding a replacement pair of mittens for our granddaughter, but they didn't have anything in the right color scheme. They were down to dark colors, and she's into pink these days. The staff members were friendly and welcoming on a holiday when they might have preferred being somewhere else. I took a look at the "No Headache" visors which I like to wear, but wasn't enticed by the current colors/pattens they have in stock. I'll be back the next time, and hopefully something colorful and flattering will catch my eye. Always worth a browsing session!

I needed to revitalize a treasured hat and John steamed it and brought it back to life for a tiny fraction of what I thought it would cost. He also gave a very rapid turn-around time. In addition, John was very careful to clearly explain what he would do with the hat so I would understand the process. Knowing nothing about hats, I very much appreciated his explanations. I came across town to patronize this shop -- and I'd do it again. The quality of work and its value was well-worth it! It's green, with a burnt orange strip, peacock feather and gold silk interior. I walked around town with it on and got a ton of compliments! My new hat has given me confidence! I am officially a HAT LADY My hat was around $170 ish as it is customized and I choose what I wanted on it :) It's wool and fitted to fit me perfectly. Such a great price!
