This was the first time I had went to the Sanctuary because I was told good things about it from some family. When I first walked in the front desk girl was super sweet and professional and made me feel very welcome! Once I got into the back it was still good as I was looking around until my name was called. Unfortunately this is why I gave the two stars, the person assisting me pick my items had horrible customer service! I was trying to explain what I wanted and what for and she literally just said ok and then stood there just staring at me she didn't recommend anything until i had to repeat myself of what I wanted again and then she said "oh ok well this one is good it gets the job done for me anyway" and then that was it and, I felt very much like inconvenience . Idk it just wasn't a good first impression and I spent $50 bucks on something that wasn't explained to me very well. Not sure if I would return or recommend them to anyone. It's to bad cause I really wanted to like them! I did go back the same night and the manager Z helped me out and was awesome about everything! I was able to exchange my item for something better. I have been shopping here for several years and usually spend $200-400 a month, and have recommended it to many people, I will not be doing that any longer. During my last visit my budtender seemed annoyed to be interacting with me and was extremely unhelpful. Typically when I come in someone talks about the weed with me, I like that, otherwise I would just order online, but this girl barely even spoke to me, it was really uncomfortable. I've been helped by her a few times, a tall skinny brunette woman with a lip piercing, and she is always unpleasant. Xzibit grenade is all u need, but if you're not trying to spend $140 on a blunt then I'd ask about their trending deals. I weigh sanctuary on pricier side of the dispensary scene in sacramento, but their selections are of great quality! I give 5 stars for the Xzibit grenade, and 4 stars for the price. read more

I was visiting Sacramento and decided to try out a new dispensary. I loved the instagram marketing and thought "why not?" Upon placing the order I called 3 different times and waited over 4 1/2 hours to receive my order. The staff was very nice as they assured me they were doing the best they could to get delivery orders out. I can totally understand when things get busy and wasn't going to write a review until I opened up two pre rolls I purchased. The PreRolls were scrunched up and packed poorly. As a first time customer, I don't think I'll be visiting this establishment because of the quality of the products and the over 4 hour delivery time after I was quoted 90minutes. read more

The Sanctuary is like being at home, but only with a lot more weed. They have lots to choose from - from wax to flower to edibles. It's a great place to shop for some stocking stuffers which is why I was I stopped in. They have specials and bundles and they are even open at 7am! Staff is always super friendly and takes their time when helping so you never feel rushed. Lauren was very helpful when I was unsure of what to buy and was very knowledgeable on all of the products! Not a great in store experience at all. Lots of employees walking around, talking, yelling at the top of their lungs but it took me asking 3 different people for help. I was then told to go to the cashier who let me stand there for a few minutes more while they talked to the other employees. High prices too. Glad you guys are having such a good time in there. Yesterday: I spent $180 on a joint bundle and a cartridge bundle. I had to come back after leaving because they left half of the prerolls out of the bag. Honest mistake, annoying but not a big deal. Today: One of the cartridges was a disposable pen. It doesn't work, which happens sometimes. Also not a big deal The reason I'm leaving this review is because when I brought the cartridge in to have it replaced(after calling ahead to confirm I had the cartridge, receipt and packaging mind you) the manager informed me that because it was part of a bundle they would not exchange it for a working one, and she stressed that I had no legal recourse to compel the shop to replace it, then condescendingly offered me 1¢ for the broken cartridge. I'm super disappointed, I'll never shop here again, and I'm making sure that all of my paddling friends who shop here on the way to the lake know how I was treated read more

I THINK THE RATING SPEAKS FOR ITSELF Overpriced. Shitty service. Shitty management. Shitty/BITCHY front desk clerk. These bitches need help and a lot of TLC. I drove to their dispensary from a long ways away to realize I left my physical Driver's license at home. I've run into this issue on a rare occasion and usually the manager (of any establishment) says: "No worries, we've seen you in here before and appreciate your business" With the new manager now, her response was: "Even gas stations are asking to scan a physical ID" So I went to a gas station not too far down the road. Told them my situation and before I even tried to purchase anything I asked them to scan the picture on my phone that showed the FRONT AND (scannable) back of my ID. I didn't want to waste their time. AS SOON as they realized that they could scan it, they made the transaction! The Sanctuary didn't even ATTEMPT to scan the photo image. Even when my ID MATCHED EXACTLY what they have on file, even if they have a HISTORY of my transactions, they still refused, and the front desk clerk said "I'm going to put a warning on your profile, but she never saw my name, ID or anything lol 0 RATING FOR ME This dispensary is a JOKE! read more

I spend a ton of money here because they have competitive pricing, great customer service and constantly bring in new products. Lee was my delivery rep today. Pleasant customer service, but the good experience stops there. I put together an online/delivery order; total was $48 and change for 9 prerolls, including tax and the new customer discount. I checked the status an hour later, and they had canceled it without any explanation, without a call, and without a text or email. I called and was told they had canceled the order for not meeting the delivery minimum, even though the delivery minimum is supposedly $50 - that's fine. I called up, they explained that, and I said they could just add a tenth preroll or a tip. They said fine, put the order back together, and the very nice delivery woman arrived about an hour later. Fast! When she arrived, however, the total was now magically $75, and it was 8 prerolls instead of 9 - no new customer discount, prices substantially higher per unit than before. No idea how the price went up by 50%, the order got smaller, and there was no coherent explanation. On top of that, one of the preroll canisters - a J's Lemonchello preroll - was sealed yet 100% empty when I opened it up. So that's a $10+ invisible preroll. I emailed the dispensary but got zero response. I would stay far away from this operation. The staff seem quite nice, but there's something weird going on with management or whoever sets the prices/policy and/or does QC. They really need to be investigated by whatever oversight agency manages dispensaries. read more

Went to this dispensary twice in a 4 day period from out of town. Went in the first time, bought (was charged) for 4 prerolls, only to find 3 in the bag when I got home...I figured "honest mistake"...Went in a 2nd time, bought a different set of 4 prerolls, and after a weird struggle to gather my change, the girl actually goes to bag up only 3, and would have if I hadn't reminded her there were 4...Now I'm reading how it's happening to others and I'm starting to think it's not an "honest mistake" at all... read more

First and last time visiting here. Parking was easy, got in pretty fast. I told the budtender specifically what I wanted. He kept insisting I get the most expensive version of that product. Kept trying to upsell me which I wasn't a fan of. First time customer gets 20% off. My total was $73 but the product I bought was $60. Not sure if discount applied. Walking out there's a sign that says spend this much get a free product. The guy obviously avoided the free pre roll as i was asking him about it. Pretty lame experience. read more

In the middle of the day, they stopped taking customers for 15 minutes to do a new employee orientation. They did not explain this, they kept letting people come in and wait. I have no idea why they needed to shut down in the middle of the day to do this. Even if it was necessary, they could have put up a sign saying "Closed for employee orientation, back in 15 minutes". I would have gone for a walk, or come back later. Instead, they let 20 people wait with no explanation or expected wait time (I had to ask to learn what was going on).
