Unfortunately, this place went totally downhill. We used to really enjoy coming here and then we noticed that we were being overcharged Every single time we came in. The food is not edible and and mice running around the bar area when we tried to speak to one of the bartenders/managers Jeane she was rude and not helpful and Marianne the owner who is barely even there was absolutely no help at all. If it wasn't for Bianchis they would have been shut down a long time ago! This place needs to be shut down, especially with mice running around they need to do something ! I will never go to that establishment ever again and neither should you! I am forced to give one star by this website, but it deserves

We enjoyed a couple cocktails at this bar. Like the ambiance. My martini was strong and because of that I gave this bar 3 versus 2 stars. The grape coolaid cocktail was disappointing. We have a go to place back home that makes a similar drinks and puts this one to shame. The other cocktail was on special and made of rum. Husband said the first drink was good but that was it. Pizza was also very basic. I wanted this place to be more than it was but no such luck. Service was also just okay.

First off let me say- I love the ambiance.. it's a divey beach restaurant/bar. You can order pizza at the counter next door which is within the same building. We ordered half cheese & half sausage, mushroom, onion & olive. The cheese half was great but other half of the pizza wasn't so great. They put artichokes on our pizza and we never asked for any artichokes. The wedge salad was AMAZING!!! The tomatoes were perfect along with the bacon nice and crisp... not burnt. I'd get the wedge salad again. They also make a decent espresso martini.

Such an amazing experience! The food was wonderful and our waitress was absolutely wonderful. We had the mussels and calamari. Both were divine. Cocktails are also really good! Divine espresso martinis and the punch I highly recommend!

They have rotating specials all the time, but their regular menu is so good that I just can't move away. Their smash burger is fantastic, but their salads are nice and hefty, so even if you're trying to eat light, you leave full and satisfied. Caesar salads are simple and standard everywhere, but I'm always happy with the one I get from Murray's - well dressed with a yummy cheese crisp on top. Their wings are delicious, always come out piping hot, and have a creative array of sauces. The variety of fries are impressive too and all of them are delicious (though, when are fries really not delicious?!) My favorite thing about Murray's is the front outdoor seating area. When the weather is a bit cooler, they'll turn on the gas heaters, so you can have a comfortable meal and still enjoy some fresh air. But what makes it truly my favorite is that it's dog friendly! It's always so tough to find spots that allow dogs, but Murray's staff is always so kind to us when we bring our dog with us for dinner, and they'll even bring out a bowl of water for him. Good service comes from the top, and we've met John, who is incredibly nice and friendly. Conversations with him are consistently pleasant and we love that he's always open to sharing what he knows about food and drink! The staff also provides kind, speedy service, which we definitely appreciate. The only negative about Murray's is the fact that we only found them a year ago and hate that we didn't find out about them sooner!

Very personable and welcoming. Food delicious! Felt warm and comfortable. Enjoyed the experience!read more

I'm an actual customer who manipulated about not a bot from marketing purposes. That is all.... We originally came to Revere Beach for the food trucks... only to discover we'd timed it perfectly to miss them. ‍ Plan B was Drift, and I'm genuinely glad things worked out that way. We grabbed seats at the bar, where one of the bartenders took care of us. The service was outstanding--attentive without hovering, refills appeared before we realized we wanted them, and every request was met with a smile. We weren't exactly running up the bar tab (I think our group had one drink each), but we were treated like regulars. That's becoming a rare thing these days. The food was equally impressive. The salads were perfectly dressed, and the fish tacos were fresh and flavorful, though I would have loved just a little more acidity. A few dashes of Tabasco brought them exactly where I wanted them. Dessert deserves its own standing ovation. The olive oil and grapefruit creation was bright, unexpected, and absolutely delicious. But the undisputed star of the evening was the mushroom gnocchi. The truffle hits you hard at first, almost making you wonder if it's too much. Then, almost magically, the flavor evolves into something rich, earthy, and incredibly balanced. It's one of those dishes that keeps changing as you eat it--and by the last bite you're already wondering when you'll order it again. Funny how missing the food trucks ended up being the best part of the evening. Drift wasn't just a backup plan--it was the highlight of the night.

We had a large party and few kids so decided it would be more comfortable inside. We got a semi private room initially so that was nice. Another party came in halfway through which was fine. Service was excellent. Our server was attentive and checked on us often. Got all our orders correct and was very polite. Surprisingly the truffle fries were my favorite. Very crunchy and just the right crispiness. Fried calamari was also great with the right level of crispness and mixed jalapeños. The swordfish had no flavor and was bit dry. I should have expected this but wanted to try regardless. The dish had plenty of strong supplemental flavors trying to enhance the flavorless dish but wasn't doing it for me. Overall not a bad place to take friends or date if in area but I would not go out of my way to come back.

It was ok but the corn was not charred at all. We then split the strawberry & burrata pizza. It was ok- but lacked a solid umami flavor. It needed more salt and pepper to be enjoyed. The worst part of the experience was that the manager (I think- he was dressed in all black & I saw the staff asking him questions) came out twice to smoke. He smoked by the railing close to Starbucks, which was about 20 feet away from us. Yet both times the cigarette smoke blew into us, which was absolutely disgusting. There were other places further away he could have walked to smoke, but he did not. Suffice to say I will not be back. I'll stick with Dryft.

After making a reservation, the three of us arrived shortly after noon to find the restaurant completely empty. In fact, there were no staff in sight. After calling toward the kitchen, a waitress appeared, and we seated ourselves. After ordering waters and iced teas, we looked over the extensive menu and chose: * Ay Caramba! ($16) - A vegetarian tapa packed with corn, peppers, spinach, mushrooms, and more. * Margherita Pizza ($18) - Garlic confit, fresh basil, vine-ripened tomatoes, and fresh mozzarella. * Panko-Crusted Baked Haddock ($32) - Served with roasted potatoes, seasonal vegetables, and a white wine cream reduction. The Ay Caramba! was the standout dish of the meal. It was flavorful, with a great texture, and easily our favorite. The Margherita pizza featured a very thin, crisp crust with fresh tomatoes and a light touch of sauce, making for a good but not exceptional pizza. Opinions on the haddock were mixed--one diner enjoyed it, while another thought it had a slightly fishy taste. The restaurant itself has a pleasant, inviting atmosphere, and once service began, our waitress was friendly, attentive, and checked on us several times throughout the meal. At almost $100 with tip, this isn't an innexpensive place. That said, we enjoyed lunch and would be happy to return. Tip: Metered parking is available on the street and there is a small parking lot next to Valsos. You can also park further down toward the beach, about a 5-minute walk to the restaurant.
