Popped in on a whim and had the best lunch thanks to it. The employees are all very welcoming, friendly, and helpful. Service is quick. Plenty of indoor seating in the clean shop. Two very clean single-stall restrooms are available. Good amount of parking in a shared lot. The noise level seems to stay pretty mild. No worries on sandwich options - they have 36, or you can build your own. Though it's a little much to read through, just pick a random number! My companion and I chose this tactic and were incredibly pleased with the outcome. The sandwiches (we ordered The Tap Tempo Reuben and The Mona Lisa) both arrived hot and packed with fillings. Everything was so flavorful. The Mona Lisa is a definite must-try. The soda from the fountain machine is a little wanting, but they also offer bottled drinks. Bagged chips are available as well. I've eaten here a few times. My work is nearby. It's very convenient. You can order on the app or the website and your order will be ready pronto. My order has always been quick. I've gotten the veggie sandwich, but haven't tried anything else. It's always been pretty good. Service is quick and efficient when I come in to pick up my order to go. I'm really tired of giving this place chances. I've been coming to them for years now and here's the thing: the sandwiches are mid and the customer service is just plain terrible. This last recent visit, I ordered my sandwich and got back to work to find that it had been made on the wrong bread. I immediately went back and explained the issue nicely. And apology was not offered, and rather than remaking the sandwich on the correct bread I witnessed them take everything off of one sandwich, and slap it onto the other with the correct bread. Then they handed me back my order and offered no apology for the inconvenience. If I could've revoked my cash tip I would have. This is a solid sandwich shop. We were a disaster ordering but the person at the register was super patient about customizing sandwiches for my kids. I have had nothing but an amazing experience ordering through DoorDash delivery at least two times before. Today, I ordered my usual tri-tip sandwich but with psycho sauce and special instructions to add banana peppers. Each and every time I ordered a sandwich here, it has always automatically come with lettuce, tomato and onion and was always generously and neatly stacked. Until today. They left out the lettuce, tomato and veggies and the sandwich only included the bell peppers. I was hoping to start with this to get my veggies in for my today, but that didn't happen. They made my sandwich more like a melt, like the other tri-tip sandwich on the menu. The meat is supposed to be just slightly heated up over a bed of lettuce, tomato and cheese of choice, but the cheese is not supposed to be melted onto the bun with warm meat. The cheese is supposed to be distinguishably square cut. Overall, the amount of meat appeared much smaller than they used to give you, and without the veggies the sandwich was super small and was able to be finished in one sitting. Instead of being eaten in two sittings at separate times like before. I am worried that quality has gone down since corners were clearly cut today, so I am not sure if I will be ordering from them again. read more

I used to work at a Safeway Deli for 10 years, and it takes me 45 seconds to make a sandwich but took the young man 2 minutes just to chop meat with his knife. No hustle, no sense of urgency... Instead of complaining and asking for a refund based on watching this guy use the same gloves, I grabbed the salad and dashed back to work where I ended up eating a granola bar from the vending machine. Not only did I lose 30 minutes of my life that I can't take back (the drive, the wait, the drive back) but I had to dump the overpriced, skimpy meat salad as well. My son boasts about this place all the time and told me they take too long which is their only downfall, and going there for the first time I was able to witness first hand. My favorite sandwiches are The Golden State Dub (hot turkey, Cranberry sauce and cream cheese) and The Gordon Vayo (Tri tip, Cranberry sauce, pyscho sauce and pepperjack). I get them with everything except mustard--- mayo, secret sauce, lettuce, onion, tomatoes, pickles and peppers. Out of this world everytime!!! I used to go the spot that was off of Stevens Creek and Lawrence but it closed last year so I've been making more frequent appearances at this location.
