Stopped into Nation's for lunch. I got the classic hamburger with cheese. The burger was juicy and I loved the taste of the American cheese. Instead of fries, I got onion rings and they were cooked to perfection. The food took a little longer to come out than a normal fast food restaurant, but I didn't mind it because it being cooked fresh on the flat top. The restaurant had a fun vibe and the service was very good. I can't to try their breakfast burrito next time. read more

Luckily, the banana pie saved our meal from being a complete and dismal failure. My husband and I each ordered a salmon sandwich. Before ordering, I asked what was on it. A piece of salmon, lettuce, tomato, onion and sauce. The lettuce and tomato were properly described. The salmon was not a piece of salmon. It was minced fish, think chicken nugget chicken only made out of fish. It was awful. AWFUL. The sauce? Something white (not tarter) and a glop of yellow mustard. I couldn't get past the second bite. We ordered onion rings, another mistake. Nothing execution wise, just not good. I ended up sharing some of my daughter's burger. Not awful but nothing worth getting again. We ordered a strawberry cheesecake and half a banana cream pie to go. Like I said, the banana cream pie was a hit. The strawberry cheesecake was very lemony. If you come expecting a Denny's, or just understand that this is fast food... Then you're fine. But if you come expecting a diner quality experience, I would say look elsewhere. Interior was clean and modern, staff was friendly and helpful...but food left a lot on the table. My wife and I came for breakfast in the morning, probably not wise given that's not the point of this place... Their hamburgers may be better (onion rings were bland?) but I would skip breakfast. Won't go into all the details, but food quality wasn't what I was hoping for. Rubbery pancakes were a big letdown for me...particularly when it made the bendy silverware struggle. Coffee was on point, but that I would expect from Peerless Coffee rather than the establishment. Slogan says "made fresh". Not sure I get the hype. I will start with the positives. New building which means it was very fresh and clean. The pies looked very good and was impressed by the selection. I may come back for a pie in future. The menu had a good selection so many choices that looked good including breakfast. The bad part is my chili cheese hotdog was 13.38. Paid in cash and the cashier asked me if I wanted my change when I gave him $14 which I found a bit odd. If I am totally honest, it was good but I really did not seen any difference between this chili cheese hotdog and one that is a fraction of the price at Weinershnizel. So guess I would recommend sticking to a burger and/or pie as that may be the better route to go here. read more

The bathroom code is 1234 as of March 2026. Cheeseburger is made out of fresh ingredients, though I would only order a single patty next time, not a double patty. There was so much lettuce and tomatoes on top of the double patty cheeseburger with fried egg that it made it difficult to fit into a bite. The patty, cheese and fried egg were delicious. Onion rings were delicious. I asked for a side of ranch for dipping and they gave it to me. Blueberry cheesecake is pretty rich and a tad too sweet for my tastes. Good, but I would try a different slice of pie next time. There are only five tables in the dining area that seat 4-6, so it's possible when it's busy that there is nowhere to sit for dining in. read more

What we observed was a fair bit of back and forth movement of the few staff, where they could possibly benefit from identifying/reducing wasted movement. I was very disappointed with my first and only experience at Nations Restaurant. The overall quality did not meet expectations. The wait time was much longer than expected, and when the food arrived it was not fresh and lacked flavor.  I understand that restaurants can have busy days, but I ordered 3 hot dogs and the buns appeared to be stale. The 3 pieces of pie looked lovely; however, the cherry cheesecake seemed like it had been sitting in the cold case for quite some time because the cherry topping was stiff, which made it seem old. Unfortunately, this visit left me feeling frustrated and dissatisfied. I would not return based on this experience and hope improvements are made in the food quality. read more

Well they finally opened. They are here Nations Burgers and shakes and pies. The burgers are big and delish. The fries are nice and crunchy. The shakes are pretty good. Next time I will order the slice of pie and take one home. Over all the place is SMALL. 3 tables and two booths. They should have put a counter with chairs. Oh well!! Max Occ 48 people OMG. Nations just opened up around the corner from my house and was excited to try. I ordered a cowboy burger and fries and the food was definitely pretty good (nothing crazy but good size portions). The biggest takeaway I would warn people of is how long it takes to get your food. I walked in with no other customers in line and one couple eating their food quietly in the corner. No joke, it took me 23 minutes to get my food and all I ordered was a burger and fries. Definitely wouldn't recommend unless you have an hour to burn. read more

We were pretty excited to find that a new restaurant had opened in our area and the first couple visits were encouraging. As stated in a previous review, the music volume was a red flag, but out of an abundance of hopeful thinking, we returned a number of times. A recent visit was the last straw. When we walked in, there was no noise at all. Just another set of customers quietly enjoying themselves. We ordered and found a place to sit. While sitting there, suddenly, loud music started playing. I asked one of the people behind the counter if they could turn it back off. The person said yes. Great! No problem, right? NO. The music continued, and got even louder. I went back to the counter and asked a different person if they could turn it off. She said they can turn it down but not off. What a crock of crap. It was off completely for several minutes when we arrived at the place. Someone turned the music on while we were waiting, so someone could certainly turn it off. If they can turn it down, they can turn it down all the way. No excuses. I'm beyond disappointed because I was really liking the place as an option in our area that seems to have a shortage of places to eat. In addition to this recent noise/lying problem, we went a few days prior for lunch on the way home from a weekend activity. In that case, there was simply nowhere to sit, so we ordered to go. Part of my order was an Oreo Cookie shake. Halfway home, I found that the shake was not very mixed. It still looked like soft serve in the cup. On a prior visit, I had ordered that shake and it was really good. Mixed well, and had lots of those little cookie bits. That's what made me want another one. When I got to the very bottom of the cup, I found about maybe 20% of what should have been in there. Sorry, Nation's. Since you opened, we gave you half a dozen chances. Only two of those chances were worth returning for. You were a nice thought, but between the inconsistent quality and the straight up lying to my face about the music, you've seen the last of my patronage. read more

Delicious. 100% recommend. Pricier than In N Out but burgers are larger. Just as delicious. Fries aren't as good but still tasty. Only request is that fresh onion be placed on side with cheese so cheese holds them in place as you're eating. My burger had them at the bottom and they fell out all over the place. read more

What a disappointment! I ordered a cheeseburger today which is $2 more than a hamburger. Hamburger: $8.25 Cheeseburger: $10.25 And I asked the person taking orders what kind of cheese they had, she said American & Cheddar. I chose Cheddar. My wife paid for our lunch. But then I realized that they charged $1.75 more for Cheddar when I saw the receipt! She should have told me that Cheddar costs $1.75 more than American. Tried Nations for the first time and was seriously impressed! I ordered the cheeseburger and fries (which I normally don't get either), and both were fantastic. The burger was absolutely mouthwatering--juicy, flavorful, and cooked just right. The fries were perfect: crispy on the outside, soft on the inside, and not salty (finally!). We were warmly greeted as soon as we walked in and even offered a sample of pie while we waited, which was such a nice touch. Great food and great hospitality go a long way. Clean simple counter-service restaurant. We went for breakfast and they have the basics-eggs, hash browns, breakfast meats, breakfast burritos, pancakes, coffee. I got their 2-egger breakfast and it was good. Service was reasonably quick. Nothing fancy but it was satisfying! Next time, I need to try their pies! read more

The service was amazing! We were greeted with a sample of assorted pies before we even ordered. We were able to customize the meals the way we wanted at no additional charge. The Cowboy Burger was mouthwatering and adding the Texas Toast was 10/10. Same sentiments with the Bacon Cheese Burger. This is located in a nice friendly neighborhood in a plaza that has very little restaurants. We will definitely be coming here again. read more

Extremely disappointed. The first time a few weeks ago, we walked in & right back out. No shades on the windows & tables were in the hot blazing sun. A VERY small place. Gave them another chance today for a late breakfast & still no shades but found a table (the one & only booth) partially out of the sun. The menus have no prices listed. Ordered from the overhead menu board 2, two Eggers & 2 coffees for $37. Atmosphere is like a school cafeteria. The same person who took our order was also the cook & she had some kind of nose ring with jagged points on it. Another young staff member was seen in & out of the back, also with a nose ring. Neither were very friendly. Food was nothing to write home about...just mediocre at best. While waiting for our order to be called, we went to get our coffee & she charged for the coffees after we had already paid for coffees on our order ticket! So we must wait days now for the coffee credit at our bank. Totally unorganized with coffee on one side & stirrers & sugar across the room. It's insulting that when ordering, the tip screen comes up. A tip for what? You bus your own tables also. In a nutshell...we won't be back. Food behind the counter, particularly loaves of bread, should not be in the blazing sun through the windows, nor should the tables. They should not have hired staff with nose bull rings. Totally unhygienic. Can you imagine this allergy season, runny nose onto the metal ring & dripping into the food they're cooking, or wiping the snot somehow? Disgusting in the food industry! For the same amount of money you could have breakfast at IHOP or even at Dennys & be in a more comfortable atmosphere AND be served! Ohhh man... such a disappointment! I was looking forward to coming to this location that is near my home. One person at the register, and nobody else on site. The person at the register had a bull ring through her nose.. filthy looking and unprofessional. Is this the best person you could get as a focal person for this beautiful new place!? Hire a clean cut student from nearby Santa Teresa High School if you can't find anyone else. There was a long line forming and yet nobody cooking. An older woman got up from her seat and asked about her order that she was waiting for. Soon three employees come out from the back with puzzled looks on their faces. They scrambled when they saw the line. This is such a beautiful new place, yet owners decided to hire an incompetent staff to run their business investment. I ordered a chilly dog- I thought it would be close to the pictured item. Ha! $9.50 for a that?!. Dude!! Customers after were exiting with disappointment. Now the Silver Creek location is much different. That owner and staff are professional and friendly and don't seem ghetto and the food is presented well. I'm not a hater- see my reviews. I do hope the owners see this. It's an easy fix. I would love to see this establishment thrive at this location. It is just constructive criticism because I care.
