One of the Greatest local treasures you will find, the food and atmosphere are beyond friendly. The owner Matt Scully is always on hand to talk. The service is simply phenomenal. Simply the BEST! Artisanal cooking and flavors!

Delicious food - they have a baker who makes the bread, rolls, buns, and desserts. They have gluten free bread and most menu items are naturally gluten free, so it's easy get a good gluten free meal. The delectable homemade ice cream is available in a bunch of different flavors and is made with a short list of natural ingredients. Can't wait return!

So much grease on the burger it slid off the bun

I ordered a bacon jam burger rare and small order of fries. The burger was dripping fat and they cooked it well done. Why have on the menu cook to order if the cook can't cook! Also fried has browns is not a small order of French fries. The staff seem antsy to get out they keep staring at the clock. One bus girl was busy all the time while the guy with the beard and stash kept talking to the cashier and doing nothing the whole time. I giuess it hard to find good cooks!

The Hungry Pirate with Sausage Cheddar Cheese Balls

Dipped in on Friday mid-morning and this place was busy! After getting my food, I can see why. Thankfully the staff is super efficient and the line moves quickly. I had the Hungry Pirate breakfast with eggs (however you want them cooked), incredibly fluffy and delicious pancakes, and a protein (sausage or bacon or you can pick avacado slices). My girlfriend had the Avacado Toast & Sausage Cheddar Balls. The sausage balls were delicious and next time I'd forgo the sausage on my platter for another protein, they were that good. I should have asked for more butter for the pancakes but they were great on their own with some syrup. This is a no frills restaurant but they do breakfast extremely well.

So happy to have found this Gem of a restaurant, as soon as you enter your greeted by the entire staff. You must read the entire menus as they have an snacking selection of all foods. What was so amazing is that this place is friendly to all. They have a small section of books for kids to read, there's special tables the kids and draw with chalk. I was so impressed with all of it!! As soon as you order your seated and immediately served your drinks, the food came out super fast which was great since we hadn't eaten. I ordered a breakfast burrito suer delicious it has cheese, eggs, delicious sausage, home fries, veggies and some jalapeño. They offer a salsa on the side make sure to try it, super fresh and tasty. We also ordered fries on the side they were made to perfection! My assistant ordered the breakfast platter with toast, fresh avocado and it was fresh and made to perfection. For dessert I took home some of the carrot cookie it Was Delicious!! If you live in Greenville NC make sure to stop by, I can guarantee this will be your go to restaurant once a week. If I lived here it would be mine! For this visiting please stop and try out the delicious food and outstanding customer service. Kudos to the entire staff and owners this place is amazing!! I'll be back before I leave NC and it will def be my place to come when I visit again!

This is my favorite place to start my Saturday! Great food, coffee, and sweets. Service is quick, but there is usually a wait so be prepared. Also, great music and vibes!

Black bean burger, small fries, basic breakfast

I've been there a handful of times but each time has been great, I've tried the black bean burger, French toast, basic breakfast, and the breakfast potatoes aka (small fries) are fireee I love them. Always crispy. I've also tried there bagel and ice cream. Overall such a vibe and great service everyone that works there are super sweet and chill. If you're in town definitely check this place out they're open till 2 and possibly one of the best brunch places

I had the tarragon chicken salad sandwich with tomatoes and coastal plains lettuce on a house onion roll. This sandwich is very tasty; I did need to add some Mayo to my roll. In all I would order this again. The freshness and unique twist to the chicken salad is refreshing. Everyone was friendly and the establishment is quaint with many patrons. I would recommend this cute breakfast/lunch shop to anyone.

It just feels stagnant and uninspired. Nothing new, nothing seasonal, nothing exciting. If you've been once, you've basically seen it all. The food itself was bland and boring. Dishes lacked seasoning and creativity, and nothing stood out as memorable. For the prices they charge, you expect at least some depth of flavor, but everything felt flat. Service was also slow, even though it wasn't especially busy. We waited far too long for basic things, and the staff didn't seem particularly attentive or professional. There was a noticeable lack of urgency and overall polish. Overall, it feels like a place that hasn't evolved in years -- same menu, same energy, same issues. Unfortunately, it just doesn't live up to expectations.

We ended our amazing dinner sharing an incredible white chocolate bread pudding. The place is kitschy & cool, taking full advantage of a busy storefront display. The service was perfect, not too invasive or pushy, just the right amount of southern hospitality and menu knowledge (we got the steak sauce on the side and the amazing dessert as suggested!). We look forward to returning.

We ordered the trifecta (waffle, eggs, bacon), kids pancake (cc pancake, sausage, fruit, OJ), kids eggs and sausage and an extra side of fruit. It was delivered quick and everything (aside from that 1 sausage that looks slightly overcooked) was fresh and hot!! I'll start with the positive- that OJ was so fresh, I wish I had known how good it was going to be because I would've ordered 3 more!! The bacon was cooked perfectly, the pancake was huge, cooked well and had a great pancake/ choc chip ratio, the eggs were still soft and the waffle was soft and very tasty! Whatever the berry compote was that came with the waffle, was amazing!!! Seriously, so good. The downside- I can't review the fruit at all... because it was completely missing. The fruit side with the kids meal and the full extra fruit side i ordered were both absent. A bummer as our kids do love their fruit, but DoorDash made it right which I appreciate. Can't speak to service or atmosphere of the restaurant itself since we didn't dine in. Overall, this place was great, and we will 100% be eating it again! Knocking 1 star off just since the fruit to the kids meal and the extra side of it was missing, but I'll update my review next time we eat!

Think Waffle House energy, but local and without the franchise feel. You could tell people actually come there because they enjoy the food. Now as a coffee enthusiast, I'll be honest, the only hiccup for me was the coffee selection. It's straight black coffee only. Not a deal breaker, just don't walk in expecting a latte menu. I ordered the pork chop breakfast (and if you're judging pork... respectfully keep scrolling ). It came with grits, toast, and eggs. The pork chop was good, eggs were cooked right, toast hit the spot, and the grits just needed a little salt. Overall? It's not where you go for an aesthetic brunch with edible flowers and $18 pancakes. It's where you go when you want a GOOD breakfast that feels familiar, filling, and real. And honestly, there's something refreshing about that. Would definitely go back. Greenville needs places like this.
