I moved into this community in January 2026 and have had a mixed experience so far. On the positive side, the apartment itself is spacious, the amenities are great, parking has been convenient, the community is generally pleasant, and the location is excellent. These are the main reasons I've enjoyed living here. Unfortunately, there have also been some significant downsides. One ongoing issue has been spiders. Despite regular cleaning, I've experienced what feels like a persistent spider problem throughout my time here. My biggest concern, however, has been with management and communication. For the first five months, I had no issues with rent. Then, on June 3, I received an email titled "Final Grace Period Reminder - Rent Payment Due Today." This immediately concerned me because my rent had already been paid on June 1. I called the office simply seeking clarity that my payment had been received. During my conversation with Debbie, I felt that my concern was not fully understood. She repeatedly referred me to the language in the email stating, "If you have already paid your rent, please disregard this notice." I explained that I understood the email's wording but was calling for reassurance that my payment had posted correctly. The conversation became frustrating as we ended up talking over one another. Debbie explained that some residents had requested reminder emails and that she had taken the time to send them out. However, I found it confusing that residents who had already paid also received a "Final Grace Period Reminder." At the end of the call, I asked Debbie to verify my rent had been paid. She confirmed that the ledger showed my rent as paid. This conversation took place on June 3 at approximately 11:05 a.m. The following day, June 4, my partner discovered that the rent payment had been returned by the bank and that our account had been charged both an NSF fee and a late fee. When my partner contacted the office to explain the situation and ask whether the fees could be waived, Debbie stated that the fees would remain. We were told we could submit payment that day either in person or through the drop box. However, she also stated that she would not be available to accept payment after 5:00 p.m. because she is leaving early. Later that same day, Debbie called me at approximately 3:56 p.m. to discuss the situation. I appreciated that she took the time to reach out directly, explain what had happened, and answer any questions I still had. During our conversation, we both came to the conclusion that this was simply an unfortunate timing issue. She explained that tenants are typically notified by their bank that a payment has been returned before the office receives notification, which helped clarify the sequence of events. She also clarified that the NSF and late fees were automatically generated by the payment system and were not manually added by management. While that did not make the situation any less frustrating, I appreciated the transparency and explanation. I also appreciated hearing that management will no longer be sending mass rent reminder emails, as they created confusion for tenants who had already paid their rent. While the situation was frustrating in the moment, I want to acknowledge Debbie for following up and taking the time to address my concerns. Overall, the property has many positive qualities, including its location, amenities, parking, community atmosphere, and apartment layouts. I hope management continues improving communication, as it can make a significant difference in the resident experience. read more

It was an amazing and positive experience for my family and I to live at the seasons for 11 years. With heart breaking we say goodbye to our little home, bringing with us all beautiful memories. Staff: property managers (Michelle, Debbie and Lele) responsive, and friendly. Maintenance: Cesar always so helpful, caring, friendly and very responsive to work orders. Cleanliness: 10/10 Parking lots: enough parking lots for tenants and visitors. Pool, spa, Gym and play ground: super clean. You can see personnel cleaning those areas every day, even the play ground for little kids. Location: perfect location, close to freeway 680, schools, mall, shopping center. Definitely, I will recommend the seasons to be your home for either short term or long term. read more

First, a couple of tips for prospective renters: 1) If you have companion animals, make sure you test the A/C unit in your particular apartment (some are newer than others) and think about securing your own additional portable A/C unit(s) to help with cooling down the bedroom(s) in your home in the summers. San Ramon gets very HOT in the summer, so please be prepared and keep your companion animals safe by ensuring the consistent flow of cold air during warm/hot weather. (Dogs and cats can't sweat, so fans do NOT help them cool down.) 2) Walk around the property and think about the area that works best for you. There is a part with a playground that's ideal if you have small children who want to run and play in the evenings. There is a part by the main road that's ideal if you don't mind a little bit of street noise (not too bad at all in my experience) but like to be able see something other than the other apartments. There are other, more secluded areas as well. Different apartments also get different levels of light and sun, which means different levels of heat in the summer. 3) If you're choosing between an apartment in San Ramon or nearby Dublin, consider the cost of getting clean, drinkable water. I learned this the hard way: San Ramon tap water is great, while Dublin's tap water is almost unusable. Factor in the cost of getting clean water to your Dublin rent; for me, this came out to much more in cost, and the Dublin leasing agents do not disclose this information to you, in my experience. You think you're comparing apples to apples, but when one apartment has drinkable water and the other apartment doesn't, it makes a big, big difference. 4) Secure a small microwave, if you need one. My unit did not come with one, which is not unusual in my renting experience but may be unexpected depending on what you're used to. For me, the Seasons Apartments has made a great home over the last year, and the staff is the reason why! The people who work here are above and beyond--so friendly and kind. They take what is typically an impersonal and neutral-at-best experience and make it into a positive and pleasant one. Debi, Cesar, and Lele are professional and a joy to work with. I'm also very thankful to them for all the times they have helped me with various issues. Debi takes time to explain everything and goes above and beyond to make sure issues are taken care of efficiently. Her warmth and friendliness have been appreciated from the first time I met her for an apartment tour through to the time I called her recently for help with the online portal. Cesar is generous by not only offering a friendly smile to every tenant but also making sure repair tickets are taken care of in a timely and helpful manner. He and his team are truly awesome. I only worked with Lele once, and I can tell she is a very important part of the team--professional, caring, and kind. My favorite thing about The Seasons Apartments is that the exceptional staff takes care of its residents by regularly and fairly enforcing safe living standards, such as making sure residents are keeping common areas neat and enforcing fire safety rules. This kind of care is truly invaluable when you call a place your and your family's home. Thank you to the staff of The Seasons Apartments for all that you do on a daily basis for us. We appreciate you! Edit: I have to add that the move-out process turned into quite a disappointment. Unfortunately, The Seasons management accused me of having ruined the carpeting in my apartment. The reason they did this is because I was honest with them about my pets' presence in the apartment, and they used that information to say that the carpet damage was my pets' fault. In fact, my pets have never had an accident inside and spent a majority of their time with me at my family's home. The carpet was in bad shape when I moved in, and because I was honest about my pets living with me, The Seasons management used my deposit as the scapegoat to replace the unit's carpeting. Upsides: Grounds keeping is excellent. Maintenance personnel are quick, professional, and helpful. They clean the community dumpster area frequently. Those first 3 i never knew i would appreciate so much. But they do such a good job maintaining the place, you cant help but take notice. Very close to freeway, while being far enough to not hear it. Cheapest gas station (Shell) ive found in the area only 1 block away. Walking distance to 7/11 and walmart. Assortment of stores a very short drive away is everything I need. Double bathroom sinks. Downsides: units are not gig internet compatible. Upside with downside: units have a washer & dry, but they are small. They do have a community pay-by-app laundry mat with full sized washer and dryers but i stopped using it because people wash thier pet stuff in them and my blankets end up smelling like dog. They got a gym, but its a bit lacking. In unit AC, but not central and located in the living room. Not an up or down, just an "is": units are a bit dated. There are A LOT of spiders. Overall this place is a win. (If they get that 1 gig internet though, EASY 5-stars) read more

I have had a great experience living at The Seasons. I had alesk under the kitchen sink and submitted a request online. I received a call the same day and it was repaired within days. It is so peaceful here. It does get hot in the summer so I keep my blinds closed and grateful for AC. I use both a portable AC unit for my bedroom. As far as the place go, I dont have any complaints. The staff is all cool, especially Lele. The maintenance people are very friendly. I dont see many shady type folks walking around, despite not being gated. Close freeway access is a must have, and most necessities are very nearby. We absolutely love this complex! The maintenance staff is always super friendly and responds to maintenance requests quickly. The office staff has always been very helpful. The staff themselves get 5 stars! The amenities (pool, hot tub, gym, etc.) are all fantastic as well. The only area I knock these apartments has to do with the apartments themselves. They are comfortable and definitely livable, but there are two notable "weird" aspects: (1) there is carpet is the room with the bathroom sinks (there's tile where the toilet and shower are) and (2) the AC unit is in a position where, no matter what, our couch blocks it. However, these are not by any means deal breakers! I would still recommend anyone looking for a good, friendly, and safe apartment complex to check out The Seasons Apartments. read more

The Seasons apartments in San Ramon is a hidden gem. My mother has been living there for 2 years and is very happy. It is a wonderful safe community. The Main reason for this is because of the dedication of Ceasar, Dora and the maintenance staff. They look out and are aware of activity in the community. I read most of the "one star" reviews for this complex, and have to whole-heartedly disagree with nearly all of them. As a counselor, and one who is trained in psychology, I realize that a lot of people go into apartment living with NO past experiences and highly unrealistic expectations. What they don't understand is there is a certain degree of tolerance and flexibility one must have when living in such living quarters. I moved to The Seasons, after doing extensive research online, and coming up from the South Bay for work reasons. Now, that job is complete, and it's time to return to my home in San Jose. That being said, Cesear and the maintenance team were top-flight in my one year at The Seasons. The manager and office staff were great, as well. No issues, no hassles, no fuss. The move out process was rather smooth, too. I just think that many people are not self-aware when they speak of people being "rude" to them. It could be THEY were the "rude" ones. I took most of the negative reviews with a grain of salt, and did not let them inform my experience, because they did not. Was The Seasons perfect? No, but most apartment complexes aren't. I've lived in dozens of apartments in my life, and I can tell you it is exceedingly rare that any complex has NO issues ever! I mean, my downstairs neighbor's dog barked more often than I cared to hear, and I could have let it bug me, but it didn't. Dogs tend to bark! That is life in an apartment. It really is all about managed expectations. For me, the rent was right, the grounds beautiful and clean, and the location excellent. The whole experience was 4-star worthy. The only reason it didn't get a 5-star rating was because a neighbor's car, that was two spots over from mine, was stolen one night. The complex is NOT gated, which is a shame, because it is nice, quiet at night, and filled with families and kids. I would love to give it a 4.5 rating, but it is not possible on this site. I lived here for two years and I have let some time pass before writing a review so as to be more realistic. There are a few pros to this complex. The location is very convenient and prices are low. But there are definitely some cons to be aware of before renting. Overall, the apartment I rented seemed like a decent amount of space for the money and also looked nice and clean when I first toured it. I wish I had looked more carefully. It is an older building so I didn't expect everything to be brand new, but many of the "updates" were extremely superficial at best. The bathroom countertop and sink were painted rather than ever being replaced. All I ever did was brush my teeth, wash my hands, the usual stuff you use a bathroom sink for. The paint started to peel off in the sink. The cabinets in the kitchen and bathroom seem to be original, too and were starting to crumble a bit around the edges. The windows are single pane, which means that it will be freezing cold in the winter and blazing hot in the summer. On top of that, there was so much condensation on the windows in cold weather that I was worried about mold in my apartment and in the walls. Parking spaces are assigned, but I pretty regularly had someone parked in my space. It was almost always the complex's maintenance vehicles or one of the contractors they hired to do maintenance. So if you are someone who is home at all during the week and you are in and out, you can expect your spot to be taken. With limited guest parking and it not being located close to my unit it was a big annoyance since I was coming home on my lunch break and didn't want to waste it driving around looking for a spot and then hiking to my apartment. Since this parking spot was also included in my rent, meaning I was paying for it, it was extra annoying. Management was not pleasant to deal with once I had signed my lease. I remember the woman in the office being so kind when I toured and when I was signing my lease. Every time I ever dealt with her after that she was really rude. Even when drafting up mass emails or notes they would put on everyone's door about things like kids playing unsupervised in the complex, it always felt like the tone was hostile. More so than the situation warranted. I saw a tree in the complex had fallen on someone's car one day and I know a fire broke out in another building. I was beyond thankful that it wasn't me because I can only imagine having to deal with management over those issues. This is definitely not the kind of place I would recommend to anyone looking for a home unless you can't afford to live elsewhere. It's serviceable, but it's not the great value it appears to be. read more

I visited this complex when shopping for apartments back in 2017 and found it pretty decent. It's an older complex, but it's more affordable and gets the job done. I ended up choosing another place, but fast forward a few years, and I am looking to move again, so I decided to reach out to The Seasons to take a look at some apartments again. I was emailing back and forth with Deborah on a Tuesday in regards to scheduling an appointment for that Sunday. She asked if I wanted an 11am or 12am appointment. I responded literally 2 minutes later that I wanted the 11am. I was shopping for different apartments and emailing back and forth with different complexes, so I didn't even realize that she never emailed back. I show up on Sunday and told me that she can't help me because her schedule is full, and that she never received my email. She proceeded to tell me "that's why I tell people that you don't have an appointment until you get a confirmation from me"......ok, well you never stated that, but whatever. The following Tuesday comes and I reach out since I have a better idea of my availability, and try to schedule an appointment (this time, it doesn't say who I'm emailing back and forth with because they don't provide a signature). In one of the emails, they asked me to call, so I did and there was no answer, so I left a message and received no reply. I finally ask about weekend availability because they clearly are very busy. They ask me what day and time, so I respond with my preference. I did not hear back from them for the remainder of the day. I didn't hear back from them on Weds morning, so I email again since Deborah made it a point to tell me multiple times that I need a confirmation. Still no response all day Weds. I finally get a response on Thursday morning saying "Nothing on Saturday can you choose another day?" Why would I even try to choose another day when I already sacrificed a work day to come to an appointment that they didn't properly follow up with. I sent an email reply that I have yet to receive any response to. If this is how the office handles potential future renters, I would never want to live here. I stayed in Seasons Apartment, San Ramon for about 9-10 months. I had to vacate as I was moving out of city. My overall experience staying in the Seasons have been very delightful. The locality, staff, maintenance and security in this community was really good and very satisfactory. The apartment office staff were very friendly and welcoming. I would specially like to thank Michelle and Debi from Leasing office. They are very prompt and genuine in their duties and they went a mile ahead in helping me get all the necessary clearance on time which helped me to get my next apartment without much delays. Overpriced for outdated accommodations. Window A/C for the whole apartment does not do anything during the hot summer. Fire hazard baseboard heaters in the tiny bedrooms that could cause carbon monoxide poisoning. Gorgeous Pool during the summer, too bad all the babies are swimming in diapers! Onsite gym- if the kids aren't all playing on the equipment you might be able to use what's not broken. For the amount of money you are willing to pay, you should get better amenities. read more
