My mommy told me about this months back. But she said it's only in the Seattle area (we live in LA county, Pasadena to be exact). So when we other Mamas told us she's going to Seattle to visit her family (second Mamas is from Seattle), my mommy thought I should finally take that trip! So Mommy and I are now in Seattle, and today we went to Edmonds Dog Park to find the food truck finally!!!! (Don't tell my other Mamas that this was the highlight of our trip ). I got several treats, and love(d) them all!!!!! This is a great destination for out-of-towners with a pup! The journey getting there is pretty amazing. I had the PB and Banana and Bacon Cupcake!! My dog Abby absolutely loves loves loves the waffle bone treats, cheese donuts, pupcake and the ice cream sundae. We have followed the truck to an event at a local dog friendly brewery and the Juanita Beach Farmers Market. Each time the treats smelled so fresh, looked incredible, and Abby gave them 4 paws way up! The service was so friendly and absolutely 5 star. Dawn went out of her way to not only create an adorable cake, but also make pick up so much more convenient for me!! I live a good hour and a half one way from their closest pickup location (gotta love Seattle traffic) and when I asked, Dawn had no problem delivering to an All The Best Pet Care location 45 minutes from my house! The Seattle Barkery is amazing! I needed a cake for my dog Bowie fairly last minute and was willing to take anything. When I called she was incredibly nice and said she could make it work. And then she asked if Bowie was named after 'David'. Yes! When I went to pick up the came it was David Bowie themed! Not only did they help with a last minute order and save the day, they went out of their way to make sure it was still amazing and special. Anyone who does that for my guy is top in my book! Bowie is a French bulldog with a very sensitive stomach and he gobbleled down the cake and had no stomach problems. This review is a little overdue, but I wanted to make sure to let you all know how amazing, accommodating and friendly the folks at the Seattle Barkery are! It was both my birthday and one of my two schnoodle's birthday and we were driving around at the end of the day looking for a spot to get Phoebe a birthday treat (my treat was to come later when we went to dinner ;) ). We had a bit of trouble finding the Barkery truck at Magnuson Park using the GPS, so I called the number for directions. Unfortunately, they were closed. We'd missed them by something like 20 minutes. BUT - and this is where they went above and beyond - they called me back and encouraged me to go visit the Barkery treat counter at Dogwood Play Park. When I arrived, not only did they have just the birthday treat I was looking for for Phoebe and her schnoodle sister Zoe, but they were expecting us and included two additional decorated pupcakes - on the house! My dog was able to sample some of these treats when the Barkery catered for the grand opening of a cafe near my workplace. They offered three free treats, and when I asked to swap out one of the three things I selected, they just threw in the fourth as an extra for me - so nice! That as well as how much my dog loves these treats has guaranteed that I'll be coming back to buy more treats for my dog. The skeptic might think "It's just food. Dogs will eat anything." However, my dog is an exception. He is a very, very timid and fearful rescue who was likely abused by a past owner and had been living on the street for a while. From the first day I had him, I struggled with getting him interested in food. Often he did not feel safe enough to eat unless he was sure no humans were around. Six months later, he'll sometimes eat his kibble in the mornings on time but still refuses to eat treats outside, even if they're from me. This is one of the least food-motivated dogs you'll ever meet, but when I brought home that bag of Barkery goodies, he became the liveliest I've ever seen him at home. I was even able to train him to stand up on his hind legs to get pieces of the Pumpkin Pretzel. I've brought him spoonfuls of peanut butter (which I lovingly call his crack) that have elicited maybe 30% of the response these treats get. I like the size of the Pumpkin Pretzels and the Turkey Nuggets because I can break them up to make them last longer, but he also loved snacking on the frosted PB bones and the Peanut Butter Banana Paws. Even if your dog is a glutton, I promise there's a difference between giving him just any ol' milkbone and these treats. read more

I volunteer for Bulldog Haven NW. On a whim I asked if they could come to an event we were having in a few days at Seattle Mini Cooper. They said yes and sold out of all their treats. The Seattle Barkery recently made a birthday cake for one of my dogs and it was amazing! It was beautiful and apparently tasted great too because the dogs finished it in about 10 seconds. We also got dog pies for Thanksgiving and doggie Christmas cookies (and tasty lumps of "coal" for our very bad puppy!). The Seattle Barkery is absolutely outstanding! We first ordered an Easter Basket for our pooch Griffin. Let me preface this by saying Griffin is a very picky eater and has a sensitive stomach. He absolutely loved everything in the Easter Basket. Including a very handsome bow tie. There was so many treats in the basket. In fact, I had the basket sitting on the table, he would walk up to the table, sit nice and whine. I finally had to hide the basket because this act of, sit nice and whine, was incessant. He has never done this with any other treat. Since the Easter Basket was a success, we decided to get him a birthday cake for his 6th birthday. I cut him a piece, put it on a plate, put it on the floor and it was gone in 30 seconds. I admit, I gave him another little piece. He devoured that too. We ordered the small because Griffin is only 18 pounds. We are going to freeze the rest of the cake and share it with Griff's friends on Memorial Weekend, so we can spread the word about Seattle Barkery. Aside from the incredibly awesome treats they make, Dawn and Ben are just two amazingly fantastic, caring people who really love dogs! Keep up the awesomeness guys!! read more
