Chicken Chilaquiles with a fried egg

For today's Sunday brunch (Atlanta location), we were celebrating the Virgos in my crew. We brought our own desserts - an entire cake and 6 cupcakes. Our server was delightful by asking about the special occasion and took the desserts to clear our table. We started with the crab dip (tip: ask for crudite because it comes with chips). To drink we had the Ginger Margarita, Dragonbird and Bellini. The Dragonbird is served in an adorable little bird glass too. The dip was delicious and a perfect starter. For brunch - we had the Classic Breakfast, 3-Egg Gruyere omelette and Chicken Chilaquiles. Remember to customize your eggs, your protein and any sides. The chicken sausage is incredible! And they did cut our cake and served it to us along with other guests. We left it for the staff! Overall, a great atmosphere, amazing service and the location is charming down at City Springs. Parking is validated for 2 hours (use QR code) or park in the deck for a fee. On this day there was an event so parking was a flat $10. Perfect for a date, cocktails, groups or special occasions.

This place is such a vibe! The ceiling covered in flowers and the warm glow from the lanterns make it feel so cozy but still really stylish. Perfect spot to hang out with the girls and unwind. And great spot for pictures. The drinks were amazing--super tasty and really pretty. The frothy cocktail was smooth and rich. Was a whiskey sour not on the menu. The tall fruity one was so refreshing. Definitely the kind of drinks you want to take a picture of before sipping. We also had the ceviche and it had great flavors and the perfect thing to snack with homemade chips. If you would like to eat at the restaurant side I would make a reservation. I'd come back in a heartbeat!

Absolutely love this place for brunch. Everything I had was delicious! The portions are massive and the cocktails will not disappoint. Our server was very nice and we were there on Easter so I appreciate the team showing up. Ask for the house hot sauce, it's not spicy but it gives the meal a little something extra. The cinnamon roll is MASSIVE enough for everyone. The location is great right on the corner and easy to access. Inside is warm and inviting. Will definitely be back for more delicious entrees

The Select is an upscale restaurant in downtown Charleston with stunning decor and great food. I went for brunch and ordered the chilaquiles and a coffee. The chilaquiles were delicious and fairly inexpensive in my opinion, I highly recommend them. The coffee tasted a bit burnt and it was slow to get a new pot, so unfortunately it wasn't worth getting; hopefully just an off day on the coffee. Everything else was great including our friendly server. If you're looking for a good brunch spot then I'd definitely check out The Select!

My bff and I came in to enjoy a bottle of wine on Wednesdays 1/2 select bottles night. We ended up choosing a nice rose and picked at the butchers block for a little snack. It was our first time here and we appreciated the very night ambiance throughout the location as well as the friendly staff and waitress. We asked a few questions about which wine and snack we should pick and the staff was very nice and patient asking the chef and then getting back to us. Will for sure be back to try more menu items!

What a delightful spot for some brasserie favorites. Parking in building that's validated started us off happy. Beautiful design with fun music set a good atmosphere. Service from Gwen was very efficient, friendly, and informed. Brunch Stand outs included the best banana bread of my life, a proper French omelette, and wonderful version of hash browns. French onion soup and quiche Lorraine were solid. We will be back for dinner!

I was pleasantly surprised upon entering The Select. A spacious dining room and very large bar area overwhelms you as you enter as well as lots of windows and lots of light streaming in from busy Meeting Street. Oh boy! ...the server just set down the yogurt parfait and additional side of fruit. Love..Love ...Love!! Service is friendly and efficient ensuring your visit is super duper and not your ordinary brisk in and out type of experience. Jacelyn D. was wonderful and helpful . Will return! On to the parfait now! Cheers!

Celebrated my birthday at The Select. First, I loved the atmosphere. Great decor and elegant. Our appetizers were the home made Fresh Baguette with salted European butter and the hot blue crab dip. The bread was fresh and delicious. Make sure you add a little butter on it. YUM!!! The crab dip was creamy with lumps of crab meat. The braised short rib and steak frites were delicious. Short rib and steak were tender, full of flavor and cooked perfectly. Our waiter Lucas was amazing. He made my birthday dinner experience very special. Thank you Lucas!! Highly recommend and I will be back. Make a reservation!! #birthday #celebration #happybirthday #goodeats #greatservice #steak #shortribs #fingerlingpotatoes #mashpotatoes #crabdip #wellseasoned #fullofflavor #cookedperfectly #charlestonsc #southcarolina

Stopped in late on Lady's night, but still had good drinks, music, and fun. Sat at the bar and was provided great service from the bartenders. They were happy to answer questions about their menu and gave great suggestions. My friends and I ordered a variety of drinks, which all were to our liking. Had to try the Bird of Paradise in the oh so cute bird shaped glass, and it was delicious. Next time we'll grab some of their great looking dishes. The live music was very entertaining and up-to-date. One man band, playing his sax with instrumentals of popular songs from all genres. He even put his instrument down and sang a few songs, while the audience joined along.

We visited The Select on a Saturday evening, having made a reservation in advance. The interior was beautifully decorated, especially the bar, which featured gorgeous hanging flowers. I was excited that their drink menu featured some non-alcoholic wines, and got the N/A Sparkling Rose. It was so tasty and refreshing, and truly tasted like the real deal! We also started with two dozen Oysters to share between the three of us. I loved that their mignonette and hot sauce came in little glass bottles with pipettes, and all the Oysters tasted super fresh. We ordered a bunch more items to share - the Lobster Arancini, Roasted Mushrooms, Peruvian Ceviche, Squash & Burrata, Hot Blue Crab Dip, and Miso Golden Tilefish. The Squash & Burrata and were my two favorites, but everything was really good. Portion sizes were generally small, so we were able to finish all the food with no leftovers. For dessert, we got the Sticky Toffee Pudding, which was so rich and delicious, without being too decadent. Service was friendly and relatively quick. Overall, awesome for dinner!

Came here for brunch on Easter and the place was packed! The cinnamon bun was gigantic and could definitely feed the entire table. Everyone's entrées were great size and we left feeling very full. Crowdpleaser for our table was the French toast. The vanilla mascarpone combined with the brioche bread and the strawberry compote was Chef's kiss ! Their cocktails were very refreshing and tasted amazing. Love the elegance of the dining room and will definitely be back for the French onion soup!

This place was so fabulous! The demeanor was very cute and quaint like midsummer meets the city. The food was even better. The lobster arancini and Caesar salad were delicious appetizers! I got the risotto with chicken for my app and the flavors were divine. Jocelyn, our waitress was so sweet and hooked me up with extra olives in my martinis. I couldn't even get a picture of the desert before we devoured it, but highly recommend the espresso crème brûlée was amazing! We will definitely be coming back here for ladies night and highly recommend to all.

The service was on point and the bartender was killing it at the bar - multitasking making 3 drinks all at once. It was super impressive and I took a few videos of him. I'm giving 4 stars because the first cocktail I ordered was SO SWEET that I couldn't get it down. I tried to drink it but had to send it back. We asked when we ordered about the flavor profile and supposedly it wasn't sweet, but all 3 of us agreed it was way oversweet. My black manhattan was phenomenal and my husband had a mocktail moscow mule that was awesome. Overall, I'd come back again - just be mindful of the ingredients in the drink and modifying as needed for sweetness. Make a reservation if you can!

It's exciting to make another major wedding decision and feel like we're getting closer to having everything come together. At the same time, I've been feeling a little uneasy about some of the budget conversations. Part of it is that I don't always feel like Olivia and I approach spending the same way. One thing that bothered me was that after deciding on Parcel 32, the conversation quickly shifted toward adding things like a photographer for the rehearsal dinner. My reaction was that we should wait until we understand the full wedding budget before making those decisions. There are still major unknowns, especially rentals, and I don't think we really know what the final numbers are going to look like. The same thing comes up with invitations. Olivia wants high end stationery and sees it as an important part of the wedding. I understand the perspective that it's our wedding and that it's a once in a lifetime event. But I also feel like I keep coming back to the budget while she keeps coming back to the experience. What makes me uncomfortable is treating money that appears to be left over in one category as money that's immediately available to spend somewhere else. In my mind, we don't know what we truly have left until the entire budget is finalized. Just because the rehearsal dinner comes in under budget doesn't necessarily mean we should immediately spend that difference somewhere else. Another thing that keeps coming back into my head is that Olivia makes very good money. She's probably making somewhere between $135,000 and $145,000 a year, which is objectively a strong income. So when I hear things like, "Maybe I need a second job to pay for that," my reaction is that a second job isn't really the issue. From my perspective, the issue is spending decisions. When I look at her financial situation, I don't see someone who has an income problem. I see someone who has made a series of expensive decisions that, when combined, created the situation she's in today. The apartment is one example. It was a really nice apartment, but given the amount of debt she already had, I don't think it was the most financially responsible choice. The rhinoplasty is another example. Whether it was personally important to her or not, it was still a major expense added on top of an already difficult financial situation. The dog is another one. I love Rio and I'm happy we have him, but realistically, a dog is another financial commitment that probably wasn't necessary at that point in time. Then there's the Jeep, which is probably the biggest example of all. Individually, each of these decisions can be justified. But when I step back and look at them together, I see a pattern of choosing things she wanted despite already carrying significant debt. That's what worries me. Not because of the wedding itself, but because I wonder whether that same pattern could show up later with vacations, kids, housing upgrades, or other major purchases. Maybe I'm overthinking it. Maybe wedding planning is making me more sensitive to these things. But I don't think my concern is really about invitations or photographers. I think it's about whether we fundamentally approach money differently. The reality is that our families are already spending roughly $225,000 on this wedding. That's an incredible amount of money, and I don't personally feel the need to push beyond that. I want us to have an amazing wedding, but I also want us to be disciplined and intentional about where the money goes. For now, I'm trying to separate what is a legitimate concern about long term financial compatibility from what is simply stress and uncertainty that comes with planning a large wedding.

From the moment I walked in, the vibe was intimate, beautiful, and the perfect setting for a relaxed Saturday night cap. What made the experience truly special was the bartender. There's no traditional menu, instead, he takes the time to learn what you like and crafts drinks based on your taste. I've never experienced anything like that before. The level of knowledge and creativity behind the bar was incredible. Every drink he made was stunning and tasted even better than it looked. I was honestly so impressed that I couldn't even remember all the ingredients he mentioned because I was too busy being amazed at how good everything was. It was one of those moments where you realize there are real levels to this craft. I walked in thinking I knew a thing or two about mixing drinks at home, and left with a whole new respect for the art of it.
