The cashier was friendly and the place looked clean. I did not enjoy the food, it was a chicken cutlet sandwich on a roll, it comes with lettuce, pickles and tomatoes. I asked for no tomatoes, no pickles, added mozzarella and asked for a small amount of mayo. Food here is average at best. Prices are high. Close to the office so I popped in and tried the broccoli panini because it seems like it is a signature item. A panini should be crisp on the outside. What I received was total mush. Thank goodness I stayed to eat it there with access to tons of napkins because the panini oozed it's contents while still in its box and fell apart as I ate it. The bread was like a mushy soft pita. Just a few pieces of broccoli inside and the entire thing was drenched in some sort of cheese sauce - not fresh sliced mozzarella. Years ago, my company purchased a company in the area. I had lunch here a few times and thought it was good. Fast forward almost a decade and my company moved out office here. If I have time, I can shoot over to pick food up that will be waiting for you when they say it will or I can have it delivered in about an hour for a fee. I personally eat very unhealthy due to my toddler's french fry addiction, so I love getting lunch here when I am in the office. I can order one of their signature salads like the Cobb or a buffalo chicken and customize it to how I like it. I have eaten numerous salads and have yet to be disappointed. There extensive menu also makes it easier for my team to pick there for lunch, which is great. Salads, sandwiches, burgers, etc. I highly recommend this place. The food is great, prices are reasonable, deliver or pick up are on time and my limited interactions with the staff (I preorder for pick up or delivery online) has been great. All the basics, plus plenty of "surprise" add-ons, including roasted brussel sprouts, marinated artichokes, and more!! I wanted one of EVERYTHING!! The fries (+$3) are also really good & compliment them well. Paninis, breakfast egg sandwiches, and baked treats (brownies, blondies, cookies) are also nice to snack on. Decent place for lunch in an unassuming strip mall. The service was quick and efficient. I was in here for lunch because I had an appointment in the area. I ordered an Italian chop salad which was OK. It could have been chopped more, and had a bit more of some of the ingredients that made it Italian. There were also paninis available at Sexy Salad and I would probably go for one of those if I was ever back. There are lots of good drink options. There is also lots of seating. There is even some good outdoor seating. If I worked in the area I would probably come here often and find the things on the menu they do great. A-OK rating here. read more

Earlier this week I found myself in Hauppauge for an early morning meeting. I arrived so early I had time to scout out a deli and have breakfast. Using my Garmin Navi I found a Dunkin' Donuts about a mile away so off I was. While in the shopping center I noticed a rather large deli "The Sexy Salad" and I'm glad I did. This deli is awesome and way more selections than DD can ever provide! I ordered their Hungry Man Hoagie (eggs over easy thank you) but sans roll. (Gotta watch those carbs!) It's descried as "loaded up with three scrambled eggs, ham, sausage, bacon and cheese" for $7.95. Ordering was automated and easy. When I settled up my tab with the cashier she took my name and I wondered around the deli. I poured myself a cup of coffee and noticed the most substantial paper coffee cups (even yellow and imprinted with the Sexy Salad name)! I went to pay for the coffee and the counter help told me that the breakfast special includes a coffee. What a nice surprise! She explained to me that the coffee cup has a build in liner to prevent you from burning your hands. I saw what looked like the owner and complimented him on the high-end coffee cups. We had a short conversation and indeed found that he was the owner after he introduced himself to me as John Robertson. I visited their website and their other food looks delicious too.
