This place is a hidden gem. Staff is friendly and the sushi is amazing. Tables are nicely spaced.

I have ordered here a few times recently and it has been really good! They deliver directly, so you don't have to go through third-party apps if you live in the area. The sushi is really fresh and they have an extensive menu. The delivery is quick and they follow all directions that you may type in the notes if you do an online order. If you order online you save 10% on orders over $50, I have been loving that deal. I will be a regular here! I am tired of waiting over two hours for Kotobuki & being charge crazy fees for third party delivery. The only thing that I would say, is their rolls are on the smaller side. I have been to places where the rolls are larger. However, since it is really fresh and delicious. I still give five stars!

Thoughts of sushi filled our heads when we came across A & A. Loved it! My dinner was the Snow Maki. Combination of tuna, salmon, and guacamole. Nice flavor abound, no one part overtook the others. My work colleague had the Alaskan roll and shrimp tempura roll. He vouch's that both very very good. Nice group of folks working there. Our waitress was very attentive and kept the glasses full of water.

Came here with a friend for an early-ish (430 PM) dinner. It was right when they opened, so it wasn't crowded. It was nice out, so we opted to sit outside. We both started with a coconut martini, which was delicious. For an appetizer I started with a spicy tuna crunch avocado bowl. It was just okay. It didn't look like the picture on the menu and it had more baby spinach (fillers) than avocado/tuna. It wasn't spicy either. I decided on a crazy salmon roll for my meal. It was just okay. Nothing really "wowed" me and there was nothing crazy about the roll. It just had salmon inside and salmon on top. It was honestly more of a a hand roll topped with salmon. It was fresh though. My friend ordered a spicy kani salad and the "Michelle Roll." She enjoyed both. We needed our meal with some green tea. It was refreshing. Service was decent. For two martinis, two special rolls, a salad, and an appetizer, it came to about $72 including tax and tip.

First time here and definitely enjoyed our meal. The rolls were delicious and not overly stuff with rice. We tried the sushi sandwich because it sounded interesting and my husband loved it. It was very good and unique. Hubs also got the sea bass lunch bento. The fish was a little over cooked. And we didnt care for the sauce. Overall we enjoyed our meal and would go again if we were in the area.

Catered sushi for Easter from A&A and it was outstanding! This restaurant is a hidden GEM! 5 stars....delicious and fresh!

Best sushi, service and drinks in long Island. Been going there weekly since they opened.

Oddly shaped sashimi - extremely small and sliced weird (came in triangles and small slivers).

Even after many years of being in business H2O still holds up to its reputation. The quality of the…read morefood has been consistently high since I first visited in the early 2000's. They offer a variety of exceptional seafood & sushi dishes, none of which you can go wrong with along with great drink selections. I recently stopped by here for dinner with my boyfriend. I noticed that they incorporated a prix fixe menu so I took advantage of that. I ordered the wedge salad appetizer, everything crusted tuna with sides of spinach & wasabi mashed potatoes. And for dessert I chose the fudge layer cake. The tuna was perfectly cooked and the mashed potatoes had just the right amount of wasabi to give it flavor, but not so much that it was spicy. My only criticism would be that the service was a bit on the slow side. It took some time for my drink to arrive and had some difficulty getting waiter's attention for a simple water refill. Although I ate here on a weekday night, it seemed a lot less busy than I remember it. Hopefully that's just because it was a slow week.

The service itself was decent, and I appreciated the server and bussers who helped us out. But the…read morefood took forever to come out. I usually am patient but it was comically slow. But like other reviews mentioned, the food and ambiance are lackluster. The sushi here is very plain and not worth it. For the price point and having thought this restaurant was known for their seafood, I was underwhelmed. I had two sushi dishes and both were misses. My partner got the chimichurri filet tips, which he said were inconsistently seasoned and bland. The potatoes were good, though, and it's unfortunate that this had the most flavor overall. I was surprised that the decor on the inside felt a bit outdated and I couldn't hear anyone at my table because of the noise here. For the price point, everything didn't seem to add up. I don't think I'll ever go here again--it's difficult to reconcile the price point with the quality of the food and setting.

Both were excellent. I'm glad my cousin doesn't have my appetite because I sure finished more than my portion of that creamed spinach. It may have been the best I ever had. What a bummer !!!…read more Before writing this review, I made sure to come back several times, on Friday nights, to see if my experience was just a one-off. Unfortunately, things have definitely changed. The vibe that once made this place special just isn't there anymore. On a Friday night, the atmosphere feels flat, and even the lighting could use some work (Too Bright) it would benefit from being dimmed to create a more inviting and energetic setting. The staff doesn't seem as engaged as they once were, and sadly, the food isn't hitting the same either. The biggest disappointment, however, has been the music. The DJs don't seem to know how to read the crowd. When most of the room is sitting down and barely even bobbing their heads, it's probably time to switch things up and get some energy flowing. The one bright spot is Mike behind the bar. He's still on point, keeps the drinks coming, and provides the level of service that keeps customers happy. I truly enjoyed this place in the past, which makes it even more disappointing to see it heading in this direction. I'm hoping management takes notice and brings back the atmosphere that made people want to keep coming back.

Well, it's a nice restaurant, very nicely decorated and a warm feel to it, but unfortunately not what we are looking for. Since it was the evening and we were hungry anyway, we decided to stay and have dinner there! The menu was a nice selection, but it was late so my daughter and I both had the Penne ala Vodka, simple! The pancetta is already mixed into the sauce but I always ask for my vodka sauce without it. The waitress told me I would never know the difference so I ordered the dish. Well, the sauce was slightly salty so I guess she was wrong! LOL It was still very good but I will continue to order this dish without pancetta anywhere else! I had the chocolate mouse cake for dessert and although not homemade, it was delicious! I don't know if I'll be returning, but if you're in the area, I'd definitely give them a try!

I should have known when there was nobody in the restaurant but us and another couple and it was dinner time.

I rarely disparage restaurants but I was disappointed in the quality of the food that we were served. The fillet of sole was delicious; moist, flaky and lightly seasoned, the bruschetta and cappuccinos were excellent. However the eggplant parm was bland, chicken francese was overcooked and tough to chew while the pasta dishes ( penne ala vodka and broccoli with garlic & oil) were also bland. The service on the other hand was impeccable. All the servers were very welcoming and attentive throughout the event. Maybe this event was too much for the restaurant kitchen staff but I'll reconsider revisiting in the near future but not in a large group.
