I'm pretty sure when I was learning to drive, my driving lessons concluded with a trip to Subway. When I worked at the public library down the street, I ate here at least twice a week. The workers knew my name and my order, and I was treated like family. I still come to Subway when I'm in town to pick up sandwiches for myself and my parents so they don't have to cook. I've never experienced any issues with this Subway- our sandwich orders have always been correct, they've never been out of the meats, veggies, or condiments we wanted, and the service has always been good. I now live in a city with many other food options, but I'd still give this Subway five stars for consistency and for doing a great job in a small town with few options. Without much to choose from, this Subway probably doesn't have to be the best to stay open, but the employees still do a great job. Other local sub shops in the area have come on gone, but Subway survives through the years- and if a Subway shop can make it in Hemingway, it can make it anywhere.

I could see the ladies in the back make sandwiches, the shelves were all stocked with great value brand bread and all kind did other items. To say your a cafe and then serve Walmart store brand food is very disappointing to customers. The iced coffee was $7.99 which is way higher than Starbucks and the cup was mostly ice. I am all for supporting mom and pop small businesses!!! But, I also wouldn't do it at the expense of quality. I do not recommend unfortunately. The owner should consider better quality supplies.
