I've also been to a few barbershops with a very strong... culture, where the atmosphere is a bit contrived and annoying to deal with when you've had a long day. Combine that with the fact that she's well spoken, educated, and cultured, and you have a very unique combination of character traits that evokes a high-end, but not judgmental, vibe.
