Being new to Dallas I had no idea who to go to and decided to yelp it. Found JT hair lab and after going through the reviews I decided to come to her. Couldn't be happier! Jenny was so throughout and professional. She evaluated my hair and gave me step by step procedure how she would fix it and bring it to where I would want it. I didn't expect to make it happen in one try (the before picture would explain why) - but she made it happen !!!! And she always inform you before she goes into the next step. We spent 7hrs and the result is amazing. After all that my hair still healthy, smooth and shiny. I have nothing to say but highly recommended Jenny if you are very selective of your hair stylist, give her a try you won't regret it.

I've been to many, many hair dressers, and have never encountered anyone with the excellent instincts that Abby displayed from the very start. Abby granted my wish-- making my very dark-brown, somewhat gray hair SCREAMING purple. Though we had to bleach first, I literally left with healthier hair than I came with. And though she could have charged me a LOT more to do my roots on my second visit, she recommended I wait (to keep my hair healthy) and found a deeper purple shade that I not only loved, but which blends perfectly with my roots. The thing with Abby is that she is not shy about telling you the truth. If she thinks you are about to make a mistake, she will tell you, whether it's picking a hair color that's wrong for your skin tone, a haircut that is unflattering, a process that is not healthy, etc. But this goes the other way too-- she comes up with amazing ideas for her clients that are artistic and creative. For example, I happened to mention that I've always wanted a pixie cut, but my last experience getting one was a disaster (i.e. the stylist didn't listen to me and did what she wanted anyway, which I ended up HATING). Abby got a mischievous glint in her eye and asked if I still wanted to do something like that. After she explained what she had in mind (a modified pixie that would frame my face and work with my natural curl), I was more than convinced. It came out even better than I imagined -- I get compliments on it from friends, family, acquaintances, total strangers, constantly! So, if you're looking for a stylist/colorist that will mindlessly do whatever you ask, take the fastest/easiest route, endlessly tries to shove product at you, and treats you like a number, then DON'T go to Abby. But if you want a talented, warm, hilarious, professional that will take the time to get to know you, understand your wants, needs and challenges, thoroughly explain everything that will happen (risks and benefits) and use every bit of her decades of experience to create a style that will blow your mind, then definitely GO TO ABBY! I promise, you won't regret it!

It is also very affordable; I was paying about $250 for a digital perm, which is actually cheaper than many of the common Asian hair salons nowadays. The photo I've attached is from several months after my perm, after I literally just rolled out of bed to do a grocery run, and you can see that the gentle waves stay in your hair without any styling needed! I love this salon so much that I've even driven back here from out of town to get my hair done :)

What I appreciate most is that she truly listens and does exactly what you ask--which, surprisingly, hasn't always been my experience with other stylists. I came in for my appt and we began. The process took a while, because I had previously used box color on my hair and my hair was naturally dark anyway. But, she made the entire visit so easy and high spirited that it was totally worth it. The way Sadie took her time with my highlights and treated my hair with such care. We went for a permanent red color and it came out fabulous! I couldn't of asked for a better result. I am so excited to share her abilities with my friends and have them check her out. I will 100% be back to see her when its time for a touch up and I completely recommend her!
