Since, this salon was just renovated everything's brand new. I like the open air and modern concept. I am now familiar with the parking and directions to get to the building. It was a little tricky at first. But, my favorite part of the salon is my stylist, DK. He is an expert professional and does a precise job with cutting and styling my hair. I love the way my hair looks, feels, and it is really easy to take care of. So, beautiful new salon, my favorite stylist-DK, ... I will see you again in 4 weeks. My friend took me across the street to Salon Gerard to fix it, and despite me not having an appointment, Chenelle stayed late to trim my hair to fix the unevenness and cliffs and expertly calmed me down as I was still in shock. I really miss my long hair, but Chenelle styled it so well that I was not completely distraught and even gave me tips on how to preserve the blowout. She's not only highly talented as a stylist but also incredibly empathetic and reassuring in stressful situations. I would recommend her to everyone.

From the moment that I entered the salon, I could feel a sense of well-being and welcome. There was not a person, staff or client, who did not say hello. I don't know how many people asked me if I wanted something to drink but they all did so with a smile. Now to Pat. I have never allowed anyone to cut my hair short. it's a "thing". The salon is decorated in purple and sparkles. Purple is my favorite color, so I loved the decor. Paula and her staff couldn't be any sweeter. She has 5 dogs and their pictures are artfully displayed in the salon. I thought the prices were very fair and reasonable. The girls looked beautiful and were very happy with their hairstyles. I was impressed how Paula asked each one what they wanted. And, she checked back to make sure they were happy with their looks. Their is a private parking lot behind the salon, which is very convenient. I can see why both granddaughters love going to get their hair styled.

The solution was supposed to be left on 30 minutes for all hair types and up to 45 minutes for coarse kinky hair. It was left on less than ten minutes. It is supposed to be applied in small sections and then combed through. It was not put on carefully as there were curly spots left after completion. It took one hr. The manufacturer says it should take 1.5 hours. When I asked about the missing steps, I was told she used a different cezanne treatment on me. There is only one cezanne for non blond hair. There is only an express and a regular. She said she did not use the express and I am not a blond. Very disappointed!
