Bingo playing card

I went to play bingo with my best friend and her mom and it was so much fun!! They were also doing a fundraiser for cakes for kids and it was an amazing turn out. Everyone was so nice and fun! Since they don't serve food, they let you bring outside food in from any of the restaurants near by. Overall it was so fun being there and I would love to go back.

Love this place! The website lists entertainment and there is Happy Hour everyday. The service and the drinks were great. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Went on Sat afternoon and very busy and fun.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Menu items are from Trilussa and Capizzis. The watermelon peach margarita slushie is addicting. I ordered the pesto penne with salmon and that was excellent too.

First visit and we had a great time. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Huge cocktail, beer, and wine lounge serving a mostly gay clientele, but everyone is welcome.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] The wait staff and bartenders are friendly and efficient. Drink orders were filled in 1-2 minutes, and the place was crowded. The cocktails we ordered (Lemon Drop, Old Fashioned, and a Madres) were well-made and very tasty. [[HIGHLIGHT]]They have live music almost every night, and since they don't serve food, they allow you to order from one of the two restaurants next door and have it delivered.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]The crowd was very lively, and we had a great time dancing to the live performance of local singer, Karen Cobb.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] We were happy to discover The Roost Lounge and will most definitely be back!

I consider myself a part time resident of the Coachella Valley and that grants me the ability and perspective to treat the area like a local and like tourist. [[HIGHLIGHT]]I really love The Roost because even though it doesn't have that tourist energy that the bars on Arenas do but provides more of a local's vibe, while still being welcoming of tourists.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]It seems like they have some kind of evenly going on every night and although the decor seems more like a restaurant vs bar, it's still a nice place to enjoy a beverage, being served with really cool bartenders[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]. Lastly, they don't have their own kitchen but you can order food from restaurants that are in the same complex and I've even seen people bring their own food too.

My girlfriend and I sat at the bar and Michael the bartender helped us out . It's happy hour from 3-5pm. The people around looked like locals. People would come in and strike up conversations with each other. I had the tequila sunrise with the house tequila , and my girlfriend had the peach frozen margarita. I honestly was not a fan of the house tequila. Michael swapped out my drink when I requested for a different tequila. It tasted so much better. The margarita was good. [[HIGHLIGHT]]On a Monday early evening, there were a lot of people and Michael said there'd be more people coming since it's open mic piano night from 6-9pm.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] We had to leave and we came back around 8pm. The people singing had amazing voices. When I left to use the restroom and came back, an older white gentleman was talking to my girlfriend. He had his hand on my seat. The minute he noticed me as I was walking back towards my chair, his whole demeanor changed, and he looked visibly upset. He said something rude to me. Then he proceeded with raising his voice and making racist and weird comments. Whenever my girlfriend tried to speak, he continued to interrupt her. She tried her best to deescalate the situation. [[HIGHLIGHT]]We were instantly uncomfortable, felt unsafe, and felt targeted due to our sexual orientation and ethnic backgrounds.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] He got in my girlfriend's face and that's when I gestured for the server to come. My girlfriend made it clear that she already listened to him, he still would not let her speak because he kept interrupting her, and she no longer wanted to have this conversation anymore. He continued to get closer to my girlfriend and the manager stepped in between them. This was when the guy decided to change his story when the manager showed up to make himself look like the victim. Michael apologized to us, told us that he is printing out his bill, and will give it to him. We told Michael that he shouldn't be the one to apologize and it should be that guy who wanted to pick a fight for nothing. Although Michael, the server, and the manager apologized to us, the apologies did not feel sincere. We still felt very uncomfortable and unsafe. The bar still had us pay our bill. We waited for close to 30 mins before leaving because we didn't feel safe leaving the bar yet. We didn't know what this drunk person was capable of. On the way to the exit door, none of the staff asked if we needed anything or offered to walk us to our car. [[HIGHLIGHT]]I was surprised of all places that this would happen was a gay bar. They're supposed to be inclusive and safe. That's not how we felt leaving that night.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] When we got to our car, we looked around to make sure we weren't being followed. We probably won't ever return. We are disappointed with how this bar handled this situation.

We've been once before, which we also happened to stop in for a drink and found out it was drag night. Well that was amazing so of course whenever friends are un town, we had to bring them. Before the show from 7-8:30, they have drag race. You can come and enjoy the show with everyone else. Afterwards starting at 9pm, or a little after is when the show starts. Seats can be reserved, hi top or tables for groups. Then the other seating are first come first serve. The show is alway amazing and entertaining. Of course the hostess with the mostess is a a major hoot and holler. She is AMAZING. Just the liveliness of her and the positive attitude. It makes you all feel so welcomed. I think each week the showgirls rotate so it changes. This week, they were amazing. Of course both the last time and this time, we had a blast. And our guest was having the time of her life. She loved every second of it. The girls not only perform but work the floor as well. Working it up and down and just keeping the crowd entertained. Don't forget to bring your dollar bills because we have to show them some love during and after each performance. Their music choice is alway amazing and to top it off, their whole performance to go with it is a must see if you haven't been. Plus we just found out they also do drag brunch on Saturday. May need to give it a try next time. If you're wanting a fun night out with a fun crowd and entertaining show, one eleven on a Friday night.

Plus the drinks were solid and not crazy expensive like LA prices! We joined this venue for my birthday- My friend made reservation to secure us a seat. We received seats at a bar like seating environment, but there were also tables for larger parties. For those who do not have reservation, if space is available you can curl up to the official bar. Customers seem to pour in about 15 minutes before performances. Mostly parties and/or groups of individuals. The performers were very lively and enjoyable. Especially the MC! From experiencing other places, what I like to see is more performances on stage before they circle the room and take money. The performance from the dance teacher in San Diego was amazing- very artistic. Was happy to see three performances from her! If coming, prepared to have fun and bring some money to show your appreciation for the talented performers. Having a pocket full of dollar bills will get you far!

The first visit, there was a line to get in and from there, a massive line trying to get a drink at the bar. So come early to avoid that. We just wanted to lounge for a bit and grab a drink after dinner. Showed up just after 8:30 which is still early but very easy when we arrived. There was already a good amount of people inside when we walked in. The nice thing, you're able to walk up to the bar and grab a drink pretty fast. It's cash only so be prepared. Inside isn't that big, where the dj booth is. I don't even think it's a dance floor but it could potentially be. They have two bars on either side. But the patio area is where the party happens. It's massive with a good amount of hi top tables with chairs. Also nice to have the fans and mister going in with the heat that's starting to greet us in the desert. Within us arriving, half an hour or so, the place was pretty busy. The line did start to form at the bar which we now are aware. They have different event held different nights during the week. Some are busier than others. I've been with friends where give or take there was a dozen or so of people. Different night have different crowds depending on the events. Of all the times I've been, it's alway been fun. They should have a bar on the patio which will make a huge difference.

The vibe is super laid-back but still has that classic Palm Springs energy where everyone just seems genuinely happy to be there. It's one of those places where you can show up not knowing what to expect and somehow end up staying way longer than planned. The crowd felt really welcoming, not cliquey at all, which I always appreciate because it makes it easy to relax and actually enjoy yourself. What stood out to me most was how unpretentious everything felt. The bartenders were friendly and quick without making you feel rushed, and the drinks were solid and reasonably priced for the area. There's a nice mix of people, from locals who clearly love the place to visitors just passing through, and it all blends together in a way that feels effortless. The music hit that perfect balance where it keeps the energy up without being overwhelming, so you can still talk and laugh without yelling over it. Overall, this is definitely a spot I'd recommend if you're looking for something a little more low-key but still fun and memorable. It has personality, it doesn't try too hard, and it delivers exactly what you want out of a Palm Springs night. I'd absolutely come back next time I'm in town and honestly wish I had discovered it sooner.

Bold choice, Chill Bar…read more The good stuff first & there are many good things: strong drinks, a genuinely fun and friendly crowd, and a patio that's beautiful under the string lights at night. No complaints on vibe or service. But we need to talk about the furniture. I sat down on a booth that crackled like it was held together by a single roll of duct tape and sheer optimism. The patio chairs are in the same boat; wobbly stools held together by a prayer, and what looks like clearance-rack lawn furniture. This is Palm Springs, a town famous for its mid-century modern design, and the seating currently looks like it lost a fight with a garage sale. I'll absolutely keep coming back and recommending this place. The atmosphere and people are worth it, but the furniture needs an upgrade to match everything else this place has going for it. Regardless, it's a fun little spot for a drink. Obviously, depending on when you visit determines the crowd. Mid week is mellow with locals there's for a drink. Weekend tends to bring loads of weekender out for a night of drinking and dancing. Bachelorette party's having the time of their lives. That's when the back bar area is open which they also have another bar there. Dancers are normally on stages shaking their money maker as well. They have two patio with the main one being right along the side of the bar. Back bar patio is smaller and I feel like it's where you would smoke. Decent size bar right when you walk in. Sometimes it's slow grabbing a drink but it's still a nice place. It's always a night out whenever we're here.
