I went to play bingo with my best friend and her mom and it was so much fun!! They were also doing a fundraiser for cakes for kids and it was an amazing turn out. Everyone was so nice and fun! Since they don't serve food, they let you bring outside food in from any of the restaurants near by. Overall it was so fun being there and I would love to go back.

Love this place! The website lists entertainment and there is Happy Hour everyday. The service and the drinks were great. Went on Sat afternoon and very busy and fun. Menu items are from Trilussa and Capizzis. The watermelon peach margarita slushie is addicting. I ordered the pesto penne with salmon and that was excellent too.

First visit and we had a great time. Huge cocktail, beer, and wine lounge serving a mostly gay clientele, but everyone is welcome. The wait staff and bartenders are friendly and efficient. Drink orders were filled in 1-2 minutes, and the place was crowded. The cocktails we ordered (Lemon Drop, Old Fashioned, and a Madres) were well-made and very tasty. They have live music almost every night, and since they don't serve food, they allow you to order from one of the two restaurants next door and have it delivered. The crowd was very lively, and we had a great time dancing to the live performance of local singer, Karen Cobb. We were happy to discover The Roost Lounge and will most definitely be back!

I consider myself a part time resident of the Coachella Valley and that grants me the ability and perspective to treat the area like a local and like tourist. I really love The Roost because even though it doesn't have that tourist energy that the bars on Arenas do but provides more of a local's vibe, while still being welcoming of tourists. It seems like they have some kind of evenly going on every night and although the decor seems more like a restaurant vs bar, it's still a nice place to enjoy a beverage, being served with really cool bartenders. Lastly, they don't have their own kitchen but you can order food from restaurants that are in the same complex and I've even seen people bring their own food too.

My girlfriend and I sat at the bar and Michael the bartender helped us out . It's happy hour from 3-5pm. The people around looked like locals. People would come in and strike up conversations with each other. I had the tequila sunrise with the house tequila , and my girlfriend had the peach frozen margarita. I honestly was not a fan of the house tequila. Michael swapped out my drink when I requested for a different tequila. It tasted so much better. The margarita was good. On a Monday early evening, there were a lot of people and Michael said there'd be more people coming since it's open mic piano night from 6-9pm. We had to leave and we came back around 8pm. The people singing had amazing voices. When I left to use the restroom and came back, an older white gentleman was talking to my girlfriend. He had his hand on my seat. The minute he noticed me as I was walking back towards my chair, his whole demeanor changed, and he looked visibly upset. He said something rude to me. Then he proceeded with raising his voice and making racist and weird comments. Whenever my girlfriend tried to speak, he continued to interrupt her. She tried her best to deescalate the situation. We were instantly uncomfortable, felt unsafe, and felt targeted due to our sexual orientation and ethnic backgrounds. He got in my girlfriend's face and that's when I gestured for the server to come. My girlfriend made it clear that she already listened to him, he still would not let her speak because he kept interrupting her, and she no longer wanted to have this conversation anymore. He continued to get closer to my girlfriend and the manager stepped in between them. This was when the guy decided to change his story when the manager showed up to make himself look like the victim. Michael apologized to us, told us that he is printing out his bill, and will give it to him. We told Michael that he shouldn't be the one to apologize and it should be that guy who wanted to pick a fight for nothing. Although Michael, the server, and the manager apologized to us, the apologies did not feel sincere. We still felt very uncomfortable and unsafe. The bar still had us pay our bill. We waited for close to 30 mins before leaving because we didn't feel safe leaving the bar yet. We didn't know what this drunk person was capable of. On the way to the exit door, none of the staff asked if we needed anything or offered to walk us to our car. I was surprised of all places that this would happen was a gay bar. They're supposed to be inclusive and safe. That's not how we felt leaving that night. When we got to our car, we looked around to make sure we weren't being followed. We probably won't ever return. We are disappointed with how this bar handled this situation.

Shared a double order of fries which were crispy for 7 bucks. Add a couple of "tall" Tito's cocktails and you've got a tab for 64 bucks. On a positive note, our server, Elia, was a doll and asked how our food was, but I couldn't lie about it. She stated that they're basically renovating and rebranding it as a quick "grab n' go" restaurant with the resort lobby now located in the restaurant itself. Definitely won't be back.

I've seen places that supposedly offered it but I get there, it's a whole different concept of it. Well, I may have found one that's worth it. Plus a lot of places do close early on Tuesday's and Wednesday. Also not open those days as they tend to be more mellows. Anyway, we found this place last minute. It's part of a strip mall with a few other Mexican restaurants surrounding it. Once inside, there's a bar to the left right by the door when you walk in. Restaurant is to the right where the main seating area is. There's also a back area but it was utilize for a private party that night. At first we were kind of iffy as there was barely anyone there but since we were here already it was a go. The waitress was quite friendly and very sweet. Throughout the while dining experience, they constantly checked up on us to see how the food was and if we needed anything else. Made sure we were taken cared of and enjoyed our experience. Then comes the menu, quite a lot of dishes that you would typically get at a Mexican restaurant and some that seem to be new. The birria ramen which lately have been seeing at loads of Mexican restaurant. Of course as it was Tuesday, we came for the tacos. Before you walked in, there's a board that says tacos Tuesday, 4 tacos for 10.00. Thats a deal that's worth it. Either chicken, al pastor, chorizo and buche. Of course that was needed. We wasn't quite sure what buche was so opted out from that. Started off with a cold beer as they have draft and price was quite nice. 2 order of the tacos, one with 2 chicken and 2 al pastor while the other was 2 al pastor, 1 chorizo and 1 chicken. When the dish came out, it was well plated. You usually see just the tacos alone but it was plated with slices of cucumber, radish, grilled onions and grilled chili peppers. Quite nice. And of course I had to try their birra ramen. Seems lately that Mexicans restaurant are incorporating that dish to their menu. I'm also on the hunt for the best...lol... This dish too was quite tasty. Pretty decent bowl full of broth and loads of meat. Served with a side of onions and cilantro and lime slices. The color was nice. Had a dish a while back where the color of the broth was pretty light and watery. This place was nice. The tacos were very tasty both the chicken and al pastor which also had slices of pineapple added. Chicken was flavorful and chorizo was goods. Onions and cilantro also added but asked beforehand if we wanted them. Beforehand, three different salsa was brought out, spicy medium and mild. Wow, both the spicy (red) and medium (green) were delicious. The right amount of spicy and perfect for the tacos. Food was delicious both the ramen and tacos. It's with the 10.00 for the four tacos and birria ramen was tasty and delicious. Worth it. Glad that we found this place. And the staff, all very sweet and very friendly. Attentive and made sure that we were well taken care of. Didn't have room for dessert but will definitely be back. We got seated at one of the booth which literally looked a lot to the men's restroom. It was fine but not a thing you want to see while eating.

I made a reservation for the patio at 7:15 thinking it'll be nice for the sunset but of course it was 103 still outside...lol... We were going to see if they could move us to indoor but when we checked in, the hostess was ahead of us. She knew it was going to be too hot for patio seating which was amazing of her. When you walk in, there's the hostess desk as well as a cute little lobby waiting area. Across from that is the wine cellar and around the corner was the bar lounge area. We didn't even know it was there until after dinner. It was massive. The restaurant is broken down into different rooms. We got seating in the main room where it's more of the MCM vibe with the high back booth seating. There's also a little private room to the side next to the restroom. The layout was quite beautiful and it was well decorated. There was also another room a step above us and and also the patio. The setting of the table was beautiful, elegantly dressed with an over side white table cloth. Only downfall, the booth was a bit too straight up. If you don't have good posture, you do now...lol... David was our waiter who was excellent and amazing. Very friendly and polite. Also so welcoming. As it was restaurant week, menus came out both with their daily as well as the deals. Classic menu does look quite nice but can't beat a good three course meal. That was offered for 49.00 three course, starters mains and dessert. Started off with a glass of wine before hand which a few was had throughout dinner. Service was excellent throughout the whole experience. One of the servers came over to place our napkins on our laps before. Also a warm roll with butter was brought out to start. Dinner, the options were great on the deals. We both started off with the Scottish salmon sashimi. Delicious thin slice served with seaweed salad, blood orange, scallions, Thai chili in a blood orange glaze. That was excellent and very tasty. Entrees, an order of the flank steak cooked nicely. Citrus marinated flank steak with shoestring fries, grilled baby broccolini and a creamy peppercorn sauce. This dish was flavorful and went well together. Steak was cooked well and the sauce was great. Also the beef stroganoff. Thin sliced seasoned sautéed beef served with mushrooms, onions, thyme, sweet cream and sour cream served over herbed butter noodles. I haven't had stroganoff in such a long time and this dish was very tasty and delicious. Sauce was great which sometimes I think it can be too salty but this place was great. Lastly the dessert, one was the vanilla creme brûlée. Classic Madagascar vanilla bourbon and berries. The other, strawberry Napoleon. Layered of flaky puff pastries, velvet pastry cream and fresh strawberries. Both looked amazing and very tasty. I didn't have any as I was off the sweets but let me say it went down well. The food was delicious and the restaurant was beautiful. The whole vibe was your classic Palm Springs dining. Service was amazing from the start with hostess to the end of dinner. The staffs were all amazing and very friendly. David was a major doll throughout our meal. He even mentioned happy hour which is next. Everything was excellent and we would definitely be back.
