When I got my hair washed the water was cold, which for me getting my hair washed is an enjoyable part of my hair cut experience. The wash lasted maybe 5 mins which I had never experienced before. The haircut itself was good, I was given what I had asked for without hesitation. However, when my hair was being blow dried, it felt as if my hair was being yanked by the round brush. This was painful and not very pleasant. Overall, I don't plan on going back for the sole reason of if I'm going to pay $60+ for a haircut, I'd like to enjoy my time in the chair. If you're looking for a quicker haircut experience go ahead. The hairdresser was very friendly and even offered me a discount. No hate to the salon I just don't think I got my moneys worth compared to other salons that I've visited.

From the minute I got there the whole appointment felt tense. I asked for a simple trim, some face framing pieces, and something low maintenance since I don't spend a lot of time styling my hair. The haircut itself turned out nice but what really shocked me was the finish. I paid $150 and expected at least a basic styling. The clueless receptionist was not able to explain further. I told her point blank this is NOT how you treat customers, you tell them up front what the service costs and that's how it works. I went to tip and they use "tippy" so I got to pay an additional $3 or so just to tip my stylist! Unbelievable this place is!! To the manager of this store: this was my first visit to your salon. I felt they were very cute, I have just been bad at maintaining them. I recently went back for a bang trim so that they can start growing out naturally. Lauren always curls my hair, and provides a comfortable space as she does her magic. She offers beverages too! Her salon is located in a convenient building that has plenty of free parking, and if there is space on the street in front you can park there too.

As a guy, I typically wouldn't have gone looking for a luxury haircut experience, but like many of my peers I have been working from home during Covid and used the time away from the office as an excuse to try something new with my hair and grow it out for the first time since I was in college. Now that my hair was long enough to experiment with some new styles, I was eager to get an appointment booked with someone as skilled as Alex to help me find a look that would work for me. As soon as I arrived, it was clear that Alex takes his craft seriously and he's done an incredible job designing an inviting and luxurious salon.
