FIRST OFF, let me start out by saying that the review left by Miss Renata R. Should be taken with a grain of salt. Or less. I know Dr. Stanley and I know his team very well and anyone who actually knows him knows this is unlike his character and unlike his and his team's practices. You can see by the direct reply from The Smile Centre that she heavily misunderstood quite a bit of the situation. Which might I add she failed to respond to, which may be because she realized she made a huge mistake. But I digress. I just wanted to highlight that Miss Renata R. clearly said she went back to their office multiple times. If she was not happy with what they were doing, she would have never went back in the first place. Also, if it was so "devastating" as she claimed, of course she not only would have never went back, but she would not have let *years* go by before writing this review. But now that she might have found an option that she personally likes better and is better for her pockets, she felt the need to bash Dr. Stanley and his office. That was absolutely unnecessary. Just because you may happier with another option by another dentist does not mean you need to come back and bash the other one. (Which I doubt he only gave you that one invasive option to begin with, but let's assume that isn't complete BS). I just want to remind everyone that people go to multiple doctors and dentists regarding extensive procedures to get different opinions, and you choose which you prefer. This is how it works. I really felt the need to clear that up so people wouldn't base their opinion on that inaccurate review alone. Now that we have that out of the way, let's move on to some real and factual reviewing of The Smile Centre. (**ACTUAL REVIEW STARTS HERE**) If you're in need of any kind of dental work and you have been looking at countless reviews online (Real or Fake reviews) and aren't sure where to go, you have finally found the place! The Smile Centre is by far the BEST dental establishment I have ever been to. Everyone there is just wonderful. From the front desk employees and everyone working behind the scenes, to the hygienists/dentists and their assistants, they are all so nice and welcoming, not to mention very professional. Not only are you always treated with the upmost respect and not just another signed check coming through the door, but they actually do great work. Dr. Stanley always does an emasculate job every appointment. He cares for you and how you are feeling the entire time to make sure you are as comfortable as you can be. I have had quite a bit of work done there, and I rarely ever feel a thing when he is working on my teeth. If for some odd reason I do feel uncomfortable in any way, he stops and makes sure to take care of it immediately to make sure I am comfortable before continuing. Some dentists I have experienced in the past don't always care as much about your comfort as they should, so that was a big thing for me. Especially since if it's an emergency and you ever need him, day or night, he makes himself available to you. That's why I will never be going to any another dentist but Dr. Stanley. These people are some of the best and most considerate out there. I would highly recommend to anyone that going to The Smile Centre is the best choice. read more

My father recently broke one of his denture pieces and he was experiencing a very traumatic season. We decided to schedule an appointment at TSC. Since the first moment, George in front desk was able to guide smoothly the scheduling process, according to our availability and he event helped us to schedule a last minute, same day appointment due to the critical moment. Upon arrival, Dr.Stanley and Britney were amazing. They performed a comprehensive mouth exam probe, X-rays, and full assessment of the dental scenario. He even offered to install a same day temporary solution, since the next day was my Father's 62nd birthday. After that, we were scheduled with a treatment plan appointment. Once again George was amazing while taking care of our arrival. Dad also received a Hygiene Probe and treatment assessment, Wonderfully performed by Doina. What an amazing experience!! After she finished, Chris, Treatment Plan Coordinator presented us a custom tailored game plan to tackle all the dental procedures needed by my father. She was such a delight to work with, specially when it came to answer all of our time frame and cost questions. Finally we moved forward with the treatment and got dental impressions for Dad's denture Repair. Britney made him feel comfortable and confident while going through the process. The Smile Centre is a great dental practice! I have spent a lot of time in the dental chair in my life due a genetic condition requiring a lot of attention and cosmetic work. I have been to many dentists in the search for quality treatment in a caring environment. The professionalism in this practice is top notch at all of their offices, Palm Aire, Sarasota, and Venice. I have been a client with the Smile Centre for 17 years. The Smile Centre has taken excellent care of my three children, as well, two of which have the same genetic dental condition as I. The staff is professional, personable and responsive. The dental cleanings are done very thoroughly and gently. The administrative staff has gone above and beyond to help me submit insurance claims, even making calls to the insurance company on my behalf to ensure my reimbursement. I love Dr. Stanley! Dr. Stanley has a fantastic personality and cares for his patients. He is skilled and very gentle,so much so, that I fell asleep in the chair during treatment, without any anthestheic!! The results achieved by his treatment of my condition are amazing! I have a full mouth of cosmetic dentistry, including implants, veneers, crowns and now, a bridge. I have lost count how many complimentary comments I have received from friends and strangers on my teeth. One of my favorite things about Dr Stanley and all of his staff is how genuine they all are. During my first new patient exam, Dr Stanley took his time to explain everything thoroughly and answer any questions I had. During my second appointment, Kimmy the hygienist did a phenomenal Job cleaning my teeth! Right after my cleaning I had my appointment with Dr Stanley to go through with my treatment. I was completely at ease the entire time. Both Dr Stanley and his assistant Christine were extremely gentle and kept me updated throughout the appointment. These people ROCK!! Dr. Rick Stanley and his staff blew my socks off. He captured where I wanted to go with my smile. When I was afraid of making a decision on color he knew just what I wanted. I have been a patient of Dr. Stanley's @ the Smile Centre for about a year now. Dr. Stanley & his staff are very efficient, friendly & most professional. They have the latest technology which helps to pin point the patient's problems so that Dr. Stanley & his staff can move forward with correcting these problems. Just the other day Dr. Stanley had to put 2 implants into my back gum. He also decided I needed more bone so he & his staff took care of everything in a very professional way. Dr. Stanley is more than exceptional and the best at his profession (in my opinion). He has phenomenal bedside manner and also a great attention to detail. All the doctors in his office are very knowledgeable, kind, and efficient. The assistants were very bubbly I loved their personalities and the front desk associates are also very organized and pleasant! Overall, The Smile Centre was a great experience and I would recommend this office or their Venice & South Trail locations. As an adult, I ran into my childhood dentist and asked him directly "why did you perform so many unnecessary procedures on me as a child?" His reply "I had to put my 2 sons through college." Smile Centre is no different. They take full advantage of seniors who are struggling with a budget that barely covers monthly expenses. They tell you to open a Care Credit Card and incur more debt. I would like to thank Dr. Ringwald for the amazing job she did on replacing a filling on my front tooth. As a child I wear braces for three years and the day I had them taken off a friend thought it would be funny it hit the back of my head while I was drinking from a water fountain which in turn broke half my tooth off. The filling was so old it did not look good anymore. Dr. Ringwald replaced it and it was so great that not even my on husband could tell it was not my tooth. She brought my smile back to me. Both Dad and I had full mouth cosmetic work done by Dr. Rife. I have had many bad experiences with dentists during my childhood and become anxious at the thought of going to the dentist. I was so happy with Dr. Rife' care. She is genuinely kind, caring, and always takes care to never hurt you! I started going to the smile centre about two or three years ago. I have only had pleasant experiences here. Pamela cleans my teeth and is truly the best dental hygienist I have ever had. She is so amazing at what she does and makes you feel so comfortable. My teeth have only improved since I have started coming here and Dr. Michelle is amazing as well as Dr. Stanley!!!
