So my friend and I were driving around Fairfield looking for a smog check place. We stopped at one place and they quoted us an outrageous price. We decided to keep looking and stumbled across the smog king. Let me tell you, this place looked like a hole in the wall BUT we were greeted in a great way. So we asked the price of the smog check and the guy told us they would do it for $40 TOTAL as well as getting my friends car in next! I stopped by here on the way back to vacaville after passing up 10 smog shops all asking too much to smog my 98 camaro. This small shop was located inside of the seven valleys car lot next to yo sushi on N. texas. The owner/technician approached my window and made my day when he told me his price was $40 out of the door. I was in and out in 10 min WOW. This was the best smog i ever had haha. I went to the gas station on the corner to buy a diet coke, when the guy at the cash register told me to go to SMOG KING. Guy who works their totally hooked me up! i drive from san francisco to fairfeild 5days a week and had to smog my car my co worker referred me to smog king . i went down on my lunch break got my car a smb it passed in and out in like 30 mins . the tech was cool nice and showed no sign of beign a a-s hole i do not belive the other reviews . i had a real good experience there.keep in mind this is a smog shop not auto zone . This guy is a racist. The owner was yelling at a black girl yesterday and saying extremely racist things just about parking. He said things i cant repeat on here, but he was trying to physically fight her. He clearly has mental issues. Yes the bald man in the picture that says "business owner". In Feb 2013, I needed a smog and called around for price. This place has the lowest price I can found! When I got there, it's a awkward business. I can't find a place to park! When I finally found a space, went to waiting room, and no body was there for 10 mins. When I found the technician, he said I had to wait for 45 mins. After calling about 10 smog shops in town THE SMOG KING by far was the cheapest I have a 2006 corolla I called in at 1030 and was advised that it's a first come first serve basis got there at 11 and was on my way at 1115. I started coming to the Fairfield location 3 years ago from an ad in the breeze and have never gone anywhere else for any if my vehicles since. They are always quick and answer any questions I may have. The price is always $40 and I have never had any problems. read more
