I have been coming to the source for a while now because it is close to my house but that is stopping now. The last few times I have come into the source I have been met with disappointment. They are out of any of the things I went in looking for. No redwood. No Willie's. No stacked decks. No cheech. And worst of all, no knowledge. Last night a "budtender" told my wife and I that the OG strain is called OG because "it's an old strain". Yes really. She knew nothing about any of the products and was the only one on the floor for the first half of our visit. Finally another person came out and completely ignored my wife but would talk to me. Sad that I live so close but it's just not worth it. We won't miss the lack of parking either. Update. Tried to go back on Jan 27 to give them another shot. Now they have even less product and was interrupted 3 times by the "budtender" who was only concerned with my wife's hair and telling us about how he daughter needs it. She had no knowledge of the product and would not stop with the hair discussion. We used up our credits from bag returns or whatever and will not be returning. When the source henderson was just medical its the only place i would go very very nice people freindly taught me alot about the medicine. But once they go recreational a different place people are rude act like they have better things to do. Alot of patients have expressed this as well.. ive stood and have been waiting to get buzzed back and the guy at the door just stood there and looked at me . Went to the window the guy westin checking me out was rude enough to my question the chasher next to him stops what hes doing and looks over a little startled like did u just say that.its sad its like were gonna sale it see ya when before it was like here let us help.. I love the source! It's right down the street from my house so it's super convenient. Every time I go here, I am greeted and there's always an employee opening the door for me! I typically buy grams since I am always switching up what I buy. Tonight, each gram was $13 +tax , which is a great deal! I also got a pack of Glue on Fire BabyJoints for $28+tax. Skye helped me out and was very friendly and polite. Shopped here pretty regularly. Has good rewards points system, pretty good products. I prefer edibles and find their in stock and menu better than a lot of places. Employees were pretty knowledgeable without being forceful with sales. Always able to shop at my pace. Can do better with quality of flower at times. Sometimes its on the drier side with not the highest quality. Pre-roll prices could be better as well. Overall would recommend! read more

After waiting 45 mins was told they weren't selling rec?!? Never once told me what store I was speaking to or that there was 2 locations. I mean put a note on the door something that tells no rec. This is such a great Dispensary. Instead of everything being waist high like a pawn shop display, they have a showroom that has a wide open multi level display. It's unique to all the other dispensaries I've been to. They have 6 registers that are constantly going so you never wait long. And a great rewards program too. read more

I am done with the source. I am a medical patient who has PTSD from serving in the Army & at every dispensary I've ever gone to I am able to use my military ID with my medical card and the first time I went there they would not except it so I didn't make a big deal about it and continue to purchase as a recreational customer because I was already there. I've probably gone there 6 to 8 times since that and every time has been very unpleasant. The only reason I continue to go there is because my father has a specific strain with low THC and high CBD and they are the only ones that have that product. This time was the final straw. It took me a good 45 minutes to finally place my pick up order, then I received the confirmation text that they have received my order, and about 10 minutes after I got that text they sent me another one that said they had to cancel my order. So I called and was placed on hold for about 10 minutes, only to have the guy tell me I'd have to re-order, so I went ahead and did that. This time my order was confirmed again and it said it should be ready in about 30 minutes. I never got another text and waited about an hour and a half till I said screw it I'm just going to head down there. Really to no surprise when I walked up to the Front door where a bald older looking gentleman open the door and asked for my confirmation. I showed him the text that I received that said they were preparing my order and told him that I never got a text that said it was ready but I had waited about two hours so I came down. He then asked me for my phone number and name and told me to go sit in my car and wait. I waited about another 30 minutes till I finally went up and asked the guy if he put me in the queue to go get my order or to go inside the store and shop. He told me that he did not see my order and that I had to wait to go inside to shop and there was a good 14 people ahead of me. By this time it is almost 8 o'clock and I have my son and wife at home waiting for me to bring home the dinner that is sitting in my car getting cold. So I had no other choice than to cancel my "order" (if there was one at all.) The guy that works at the door is extremely rude & this is not the first time he has treated me terrible customer service. I am very disappointed in how rude they treat their customers. I am not one to write and rants on yelp but I am not able to go to sleep without smoking first so yes I am very pissed off. Disrespectful. Bad communication. They do not answer the phone. It was so difficult getting someone on the phone and then to be disrespected after I had already placed my order felt very poor. I called them 4 different times because I wanted confirmation on delivery ordering and I was explaining that I was having a hard time. As soon as the lady taking my order had all the information she needed she kicked me off the phone. I was trying to say "wait, wait, I have a question. Excuse me! wait don't hang up." As I was saying that she was completely ignoring me saying "ok sir, you will get a text about your order tomorrow". She was hearing me perfectly because I could her it in how she was talking. I cannot give her a benefit of the doubt. She wasn't very professional in the first place which I had no issue with but no one likes being disrespected right as soon as they make a payment. The service is excellent and the environment is professional. They always have a good selection on-hand and their product promotions are attractive. The only 2 reasons I didn't give The Source a 5 star rating is because their prices have increased rather drastically since recreational use was approved (due to roll-out in Henderson later this month) and on 2 separate occasions the price at the register was not the same as the price on the shelf because someone forgot to update the pricing in the computer system. Of course, once I pointed out the error (both occasions), they pleasantly corrected the price at the register but had I not been paying attention; I would have overpaid. Recreational marijuana starts soon. Do yourself a favor and skip ever going to The Source. From May thru December of 2016 I would visit the source almost weekly. I did so because I would earn points and get my free vape cartridge. Which was often due to the amount of money spent. I started to frequent other dispensaries to get their first time visit offers. It had it only been a few months and I go back the source. I'm told in January their system crashed and everyone's loyalty points were erased and lost. Doesn't seem to matter that the budtenders there know me and could vouch for my loyalty. The manager checked me out. No apology. No offer to compensate. Not even a $5 pre-roll of your crappy flower. Instead a smart ass millennial working there says "that's why I use my points right away" No loyalty at all. A revolving door of millennial shit heads and serious lack of respect.
