Outdoor relaxation garden.

I had a wonderful, relaxing experience at the Spa at Laguna Cliffs today. My deep tissue massage with Suzy was wonderful and my hydrofacial was quite an experience. My esthetician, Nena was so informative and took extra time with me, cleaning up my brows and explaining how to do Gua Sha. The facilities were clean, well kept and quiet. I would absolutely do another spa day here!

Ask the Community - The Spa at Laguna Cliffs

Are the spa areas co-ed? My boyfriend and I are getting a couples massage and would like to enjoy the spa/jacuzzi together after.

Our relaxation lounge and outdoor patio areas are co-ed, however the men's and women's locker areas (features the sauna/steam room/jacuzzi areas) are separate. If you would like to have a shared experience, we have a beautiful couples spa suite…

It was such a relaxing and chill environment. Everything was spotless! Sherry was the best masseuse I've ever had. I had crazy knots in my neck and major shoulder tension (1st year of motherhood) and she worked hard on every inch of my body to be knot free. My body felt like jello after and I was so relaxed. She did the perfect pressure, constantly checking in to make sure I was doing okay. The sec it was over I already was mentally planning when I could back again. I'm so so happy I found this gem of a place. Thank you for the best birthday!! My mom also loved Juan, it was her first male masseuse and she was so impressed as well. We've been raving about our massages all day.

I saw my husband after his massage and wow, they did some work on him. He gets tension headaches from an injury and they did cupping and spent probably 45mins on his head/neck. If we lived nearby we would definitely make this spa a regular spot. They did offer a cup of green tea at the end of the massage as well.

For starters, my initial tour didn't include the quiet room, which I later discovered on my own after my treatment. In addition, there were no light snacks in the women's area, only a single water dispenser & a tea station, both of which were empty the entire 4 hour duration of my time there. Upon departure I realized there are some light snacks in the "members area" , which was also not shown to me during my tour upon check in, and I was surprised to see it all being put away at 5:30 , despite the spa being open until 7:00 pm. When a spa facilitates extended exposure to heat via saunas and hot tubs, it's essential that patrons have access to water so they can rehydrate and to have snacks available. This was a total disappointment. For the service itself, I got a 60 minute de-stress package. The first few minutes after my technician introduced herself were spent reviewing upsell options for feet, scalp, eye, and shoulder treatments that ranged an addition $40-60. I was surprised to learn the add-ons did not actually add time to the service, but the same 60 minute massage would occur with an emphasis on the body part mentioned. This was tacky and not something I would expect from a 5 star resort. In terms of the facilities and their upkeep, the towels were piled high in the hampers throughout the time I was there and the bowl with iced washcloths stayed empty until the last hour. The facilities themselves were outdated and nothing special with respect to the dry and wet saunas and the small whirlpool in the women's section. Overall I do not recommend the Waldorf Astoria spa and will spend my $300-500 spa day money elsewhere.

She told me it's gonna cost you $20 more for more pressure, for Past 10 years NO-ONE ever told me it's cost more money to do more pressure. I asked her since when ? She didn't say anything, later I asked her for name and she told me why do you need my name, I said acetone I come in I ask for the name of the person attending me, she didn't say her name. At the end of the massage I came to pay and gave her my 10 times card stamp they do, and finally she had to put her name on the card , I think it's Kim. Older lady built, very mad face, anyway, I wouldn't want to go there because I can give my money to some other small business who actually appreciate my business, just wanted for entire to know, I'm not a bad reviewer , I normally our a lot of reviews, a bad review unless it really was bad,

The spa looks very nice and they have a lap pool that is outside so you can lounge in the sun here if you choose to. The gym had a lot of new equipment. I think there was suppose to be a co-ed hot tub but I think it was closed. I guess I am a bit spoiled from my spa experiences in Bangkok where people treat you like gods and goddesses as soon as you walk in the door.

This is the kind of place where one has to open doors for the big reveal. I opened one door and lucked upon the Ladies' Lounge that offered orange-flavored iced-H2O, teas, almonds, raisins, newspapers, and oversized chairs covered in the same texture that many teddy bears bear. Pluscious! I opened another door to my new crush: a steam room with eucalyptus/menthol vapors. The aromatic sauna was equally lovely, and I like that it is compact, clearly only for one or two, so the concept of someone coming in to crash my party was put to bed. (The potential "she" couldn't fit while my buns and hams were splayed across the seat.) :-p The temperatures of each room? 85-degrees of perfection. I would've partaken in the waterfall-backed Jacuzzi had two naked others not beat me to it. Given that K-Town spa rules are not en force, I wanted to take no chances. (At a Korean spa, it is imperative that one scrubs like he/she were a soot-covered Oliver Twist prior to dunking his/her un-exfoliated body into public waters.) Door number tres: I discovered the handicapped shower, complete with seat and detachable shower head. Here, I had a serious K-spa moment, scrubbing down with the complimentary mini-loofa like this would be my last shower. The crème de la spa: Spa Gaucin products met my skin like velvet would. The shower is equipped with signature shampoo and conditioner, bath gel, and shaving cream. Yes, a personal razor is provided as well. Back in the primping area, Spa Gaucin lotion and talc are salve to longing fingertips. And about those other reviews that compared this swankalicious spa to Burke Williams? Haha, right! Been to Burke. Doesn't compare! The only way I could see such a contrast is if one is not a guest of the resort. I mean, you *are* here because you're *staying* at the St. Regis, right? O_O I was pure silk as I floated back to my room to sit out on the veranda and soak up the golf course view. Getting my 'hiatus' on!
