I asked for extra bread so I could taste more of the sauce after the vegetables were gone, ha! And by coincidence, the 3 vegetables tapas were what the waiter recommended. Food I tried Roasted cauliflower with green goddess - best sauce imo I couldn't get enough of how flavorful and buttery(?) it was. Really liked the texture contrast too, I'll get this again Asparagus with pistachio pesto - the in house made pesto fell off the asparagus easily and there was a bed of it underneath. I ended up putting them on the bread too, haha Chicken thigh with aji verde - this is a must get no matter what, incredibly fresh chicken I would have every day if I could. But alas, I don't live near here. Broccolini with lemon garlic - the orange sauce was also delicious but not as amazing as the others. I would still get this again though! Olive oil cake with sea salt - they flip the olive oil cake several times so the apricot syrup permeates. This time it was a little dry in some areas and too moist in some, so it was different than last time. But this is what you want to take your dining experience home with you Potatoes with aioli and tomato sauce - nice and crispy and the mayo has sherry vinaigrette during the emulsion process which was a nice kick

He was the bartender and we were lucky enough to have him take care of us for lunch. He gave us amazing suggestions ..all of which we took..and he did not miss. The drinks were phenomenal, the food was beyond delicious (I had the Nashville hot chicken with a cavatappi kind of mac n chz under it ...I never like things like this but delicious is an understatement..the crab nachos were unlike anything I've have before). Sam was approachable, he made everything about our lunch enjoyable. He suggested the Hula pie also and it was soooo good. I wish we had a Woolworths at home in Florida but even then we would need Sam to be there too. I can't speak highly enough of him and his genuine commitment to making sure we enjoyed ourselves. We arrived early and grabbed pre-dinner cocktails on the patio, which honestly set the tone for the evening. The fire pit tables + evening atmosphere were perfect. We kept it classic with Old Fashioneds and martinis, and both were very well executed. Simple, balanced, and clearly made by someone who knows what they're doing. There was also a blueberry graham cracker cocktail (can't remember the name, unfortunately) that was surprisingly delicious and easily could've been dessert in a glass. The tasting itself was an 8-course menu and absolutely incredible. Since this was a one-night pop-up, I won't go into detail on the food, but every course was thoughtful, creative, and genuinely delicious. One of those meals where you're excited for the next plate the second the last one's cleared. Service really stood out. The team was attentive without hovering, cleaned up seamlessly between courses, and made sure our drinks were never empty. They also offered solid wine pairings that complemented the menu really well and elevated the experience overall. One extra thing that really sealed it for me: after dinner, the second chef Taylor and the owner/manager Tanner came over and hung out with us for a bit. As someone who's a bit of a foodie nerd, I genuinely appreciate when chefs and operators take the time to talk food, concepts, and the thought behind the menu. It made the experience feel personal and intentional, not just transactional. If this pop-up is any indication of what Rye is capable of, it's definitely a place worth returning to. Great atmosphere, great drinks, and a team that clearly cares about the experience. Would absolutely come back.

You'll find other such fancy words on the Rye menu. I'm warming you up. I'm personally restaurant illiterate, so wasn't this place's target audience. And it didn't help that my fiancée and I had just come from Four Day Weekend Improv down the street, so I was preoccupied with questioning whether I could make 200 people laugh on command like they did. My fiancée, on the other hand, IS restaurant literate. And she loved it here. While my reaction to the "Icelandic Hotdog" on the menu was to groan, she got excited at the prospect of a bitesized piece of foreign sausage. When my cocktail came out with an 8" inch ice rectangular prism in it, I was more excited about whipping it around the glass than I was about drinking it. My fiancée commented on the "notes of parsley." Regardless, Rye is great. Lower Greenville needed a fine dining experience that appeals to foodies and cocktail lovers, and Rye is that place. Great service and decor too, truly a well run restaurant.

Place was pretty empty, but again, had just opened its doors for its day! Restaurant was clean and modern. There is a section that has a few stairs, so if you have any accessibility issues I would call ahead and ask for a table on the top part of the restaurant. I asked if they had mimosas in which the server replied they did not. However, she came back shortly after and said they could make an exception! I appreciated that and thought it was a nice gesture. Overall, service was really great and attentive. At no point did our water glasses go empty, and we placed our orders super quick. For lunch, I had the Spicy Creamy V Ramen. My friend had Tonkotsu Black. We also split an order of the French fries. Overall, the ramen was very tasty. It wasn't spicy at all, but I appreciate that JINYA includes sauces on the table to add to your ramen. The toppings (onions, tofu, etc.) were delicious and fresh. I also felt super full after only a few bites and took the rest home - well worth the price! My friend enjoyed his meal as well. The French fries needed a bit more salt, but only if you didn't use the dipping sauces. Which you would be crazy not to do so, as they are delicious. Overall, we enjoyed our trip and would definitely be back for a quick, affordable lunch.

First I went for breakfast and was immediately greeted by Marianna. Picked a table right by the window and the restaurant had enough room for a large group and lounge seating too. I ordered the Texas Tacos and my friend got the Bacon biscuit sliders. Both were served within 10 minutes and were made with the customizations we specified. (I wanted egg whites only). Food was tasty and fresh. The ease of ordering, the fact that it wasn't crowded and the pleasant service had me return the next day for lunch. I ordered the Salmon Avocado Toast and tried their Acrylic and Canvas. The avocado was AMAAAAAAAAAAZING!!!! It was so filling, but I didn't feel heavy at all (I ordered fries too... don't judge me). This used to be the NYLO Hotel but it has gone through a much needed renovation and it looks great in there. We got there a little early so we checked out the new Rooftop Bar as it has probably the best view of Downtown Dallas in the city and their new drink menu is LIT AF. We pulled ourselves away from the rooftop bar just in time to make our reservation and I'm glad we did because the place filled up fast. We started out with a Hummus and Kale chips as my wife gets hummus anytime it is on the menu and she said it is one of the best she's had. We went there for the Tapas though and they didn't disappoint either. If you are an aficionado of Tapas, this is your kind of place. All in all, service was great, food was great, atmosphere was great.
