Highly recommend! From start to finish, my family and I had a wonderful experience. The service was great, as were the food and the ambiance (although the décor seems more like a steakhouse than a Mexican restaurant). When we arrived, we were seated within five minutes--not too bad. I would recommend a layout change to the front of the restaurant, though. As it currently is, you walk directly into the open concept. Our waiter--I wish I remembered his name--was wonderful! He was knowledgeable about the menu, prompt, and kind. My husband ordered a ribeye (not pictured), and we both admitted it was the best we've had (outside of grilling at home). So tender, so flavorful, so delicious! We also ordered a frozen margarita, which was strong but good. Kid's rice, an El Combo Clásico, and complimentary chips--all good. I would come back for the ribeye alone! We definitely enjoyed our time and are considering making it a date night next time.

Foodie Alert! I got a chance to dine at the new cozy, upscale Mexican restaurant located in Sinder Plaza. They are known for their craft-flaming Margarita and their tender prime fajitas! Let me say those fajitas were soooo good!!! They had so much flavor, very juicy! I had enough to take home for leftovers, and it was just as good the next day!! I also enjoyed the Queso Fundido! It was paired with this delicious dipping sauce. I think next time to take it up a notch, I would add a protein. But my experience overall was very good, great service and food!

El Molino ~ What I Ordered ~ - Queso Fundido with Brisket ($22.99) ~ Review ~ - El Molino is a Mexico City-inspired restaurant located in Snider Plaza in Dallas. I appreciated their concise food menu, which made it easier to decide what to order, while still offering a great variety of drinks. I ordered the Queso Fundido with brisket, which came with sour cream, a side salad, and guacamole. The dish included 4 tortillas with brisket, poblano peppers, and onions. This was my first time trying queso fundido, and I really enjoyed it--full of flavor, with rich, delicious queso perfect for dipping. The brisket was especially savory. They also offer the option to have fajita chicken with the queso fundido! The ambiance was gorgeous with a more intimate feel, though it was a bit loud inside, which made conversation slightly difficult at times. Overall, I really enjoyed El Molino and would definitely recommend it. ~ Rating: 9/10 ~

Although I felt that the prices at El Molino were high, I felt that it did deliver an excellent Tex-Mex meal with great service in a fun atmosphere. We started off with their frozen margaritas which were excellent (some of my favorite in Dallas). This was paired with queso and salsa. The chips had a great thickness/crispiness and both the salsa and queso were delicious. We then split beef and chicken fajitas. The normal portion is designed for one person and does not include rice and beans which felts a bit surprising given the price point. However, I will say that the fajitas, particularly the beef ones, were fantastic. The beef melted in your mouth and paired great with the tortillas and other toppings. I was very pleased with my meal here and would come back.

Saw this place all over TikTok and was excited to try. Reservations are very hard to get - likely because the restaurant itself isn't very big. Like all restaurants from this group, the inside is well done and feels very upscale. The food though, total let down. The appetizer queso fondito was the best thing we had. I tried the highly recommended seafood enchiladas and they were so spicy I couldn't enjoy. Maybe this spot is more for drinks and apps?

First time at El Molino. Small dining area and small bar but fantastic atmosphere. Really well designed. Because it is small it can get very loud and unfortunately, we were sitting next to a couple of tables of women who would not stop talking the entire time. I'm not sure how they had time to take a bite of food. Oh well Started with a drink at the bar while we waited for our table. Tried the Paloma, but they make theirs with Mezcal, which gives it a really smoky flavor. While many must like that, my wife wasn't a fan. They were happy to switch her out and instead of Mezcal used Lalo tequila. Very nice and professional. Service was above fantastic by Lacross. She did a great job and was a big part of why the evening was enjoyable. Wasn't a big fan of their complementary chips, but did enjoy their salsa. Began with guacamole appetizer. Very good and unique. Delicious guacamole with a little bit of corn added to it and three small cheese quesadillas. For our entrée, we both had the El Combo Classico. It comes with a cheese, enchilada, chicken, enchilada, and brisket enchilada. It is accompanied with rice, beans, and some Mexican corn. Way too much food for one person, and we easily could've shared the dish. The refried beans have kind of a unique flavor and I really didn't care for them although my wife said they were fine for her. All three enchiladas were very good, especially the cheese and the chicken.

Came here for the first time last night - we got 5 different drinks, app, and 2 entrees to try. 1. Spicy margarita - not very spicy, solid drink. 2. Mexican martini- very smooth 3. Carajillo- very good 4. Espresso martini with tequila- not good, sent back 5. Devils margarita- not very good 6. Small queso- Smokey and creamy 7. Tacos al carbon 8. Crab and shrimp Place is a vibe and really neat, I like the limited menu. The drinks were decent, my recommendations above but completely honest- all are overpriced. The espresso martini was so bad, sent back and the devils margarita is essentially wine and super sweet. Our second round of drinks took 17 minutes to bring back to us from ordering. I would get the crab and shrimp again as it was flavorful and good portion. Tacos al carbon I wouldn't get again. The bbq sauce is nothing special and you should get to pick your two sauces. The tacos need cheese in them, I got the brisket and it was dry. I wish steak was an option but it's only chicken or brisket. I love Vandelay but I think this concept is still getting figured out. The ambiance is really neat, 2 bathrooms only and a line for them all night. It is very loud though and better for small groups. The food and drinks were not impressive or stand out though.

A great new Mexican restaurant in Snider Plaza. It is upscale, and the decor is very unique and slightly swanky. The menu is relatively small but contains both traditional Mexican favorites as well as fajitas and a few other grilled items. They also have a great drink menu and their flaming margarita. We went for an early dinner and were served quickly. Our waiter was very attentive throughout. The chips and salsa were excellent and the margarita was also very good. My wife got the filet mignon fajitas and I got the El Combo Classico which is one of each of their three enchilada variations - chicken, beef brisket, and cheese. The food was delicious and served fairly quickly. The fajitas were very tender and had a great char and flavor. All three enchiladas were tasty, but the cheese enchilada was my favorite. We will be back. Make a reservation because by the time we left it was quite crowded.

Came here with my family for my husbands graduations. We had reservations and were seated almost immediately. Parking can be hard to find even with the parking lot so arrive early so you have time to secure parking. This is a sister property to Las Palmas and you can definitely tell. There's a dark moody feel to the decor and lighting. Definitely a good place for a date night . It's very small on the inside also. The food was very good and reasonably priced . I had the brisket enchiladas. Next time I would get light sauce as I would barely taste the brisket through all of the sauce in the enchiladas. The ceviche was delicious and fresh I just wish the chop was smaller. There were cheese quesadillas alongside the guacamole which were both delicious . I got a Mexican martini which was only half full . There were also pieces of ice in it. Definitely not worth the price. Next time I would get a different drink. All in all I would definitely return !

Perfect date night spot! Cozy yet elegant setting perfect for a celebration! The queso is a classic and the flaming margarita is so fun, and not too sweet. The shredded chicken enchiladas are delicious and have a subtle yet enjoyable spice to them! The fajitas were some of the best I've ever had! Tender steak that is amazing on the homemade flour tortillas! I cannot wait to go back again!!! They made us feel so special on my birthday and the sopapilla cheesecake decant is a delight. Can't wait to go back!

Attentive, provided great recommendations and made sure our food was served quickly and correctly. The food was very fresh, delicious. We wish we could have tried more food if we went so full!

Amazing coffee spot in a cool Walnut Hill complex…read more I like the vibe here and their coffee is always on point. I've only been during the day and always spend a little time working before a coffee meeting. The WiFi is always good and the coffee is great. The ambiance is very open and inviting as well. They serve small bites as well but I haven't really partaken. Additionally, I think they have several beers on tap and they appear to all be cool local brews. If you're looking for a good local coffee shop with a vibe, this may be your new spot!!

This coffee shop has quietly become my Dallas work-week crush…read more It's conveniently close to the office I'm using while I'm here, but the real draw is the vibe. Beautiful sunshine pours through big windows, there's a lovely park right outside, and the light is so good it feels like the café equivalent of a good hair day. Dallas weather helps, obviously--but this place knows how to use it. The space is lively without being chaotic. Plenty of outdoor seating, lots of indoor seating, and a very reasonable three-hour Wi-Fi window that keeps people working instead of camping. It feels intentional. People come here to stay, not hover in line. Speaking of which--there's never a line. They're clearly well staffed, everyone's efficient, and everyone is genuinely nice. Now, pastries. This is where they shine. A lot of unique options you don't see everywhere, and everything I tried was excellent. The almond croissant? Fantastic. The blueberry cake? A must-get. I went two days in a row (because obviously), and on day one they told me it was their most popular item. Day two, by 11 a.m., it was completely gone and kept selling out as soon as they tried to restock. That alone tells you what you need to know. The matcha is good--made from scratch, which I appreciate. Is it the best matcha I've ever had? No. It's better than Local Johnny's, but not quite on the level of Marin Coffee Roasters or Ralph & Rose. Still very drinkable and enjoyable, especially if you're settling in to work. What really sets this place apart is its personality. It doesn't feel like a cookie-cutter café or "insert minimalist coffee brand here." There's charm. Character. A little whiteboard with a joke about New Year's resolutions that made me smile. Small details, but they matter. Would I come back? Absolutely. I already did--twice. I'd recommend it especially for locals looking for a solid work spot, co-working with a friend, or anyone who wants to be productive without being bothered. If you're visiting Dallas briefly, this might not be a destination café--but if you're here for a bit and want a reliable, pleasant, sunny place to work and snack, this one's a yes.
