5/5 Stopped in for an early dinner with a party of three around 5:15, and Rustic House absolutely delivered. The atmosphere was lively with plenty of people enjoying themselves, yet it never felt crowded. Comfortable seating, great décor, and TVs everywhere make it an awesome place to catch a game. The menu is huge, and everything we ordered was excellent. The standout was their $25 Wednesday and Saturday Steak and Lobster special, an incredible deal featuring an 8 ounce top sirloin and lobster tail, both cooked perfectly for all three of us. Their daily specials are outstanding too, including $30 Steak and King Crab on Mondays and Thursdays, St. Louis style ribs on Fridays, and 50% off all steaks on Sundays. The sides were just as delicious. Service was exceptional from everyone we encountered. We also signed up for their rewards and text program and instantly saved $40 off our bill. It was quick, easy, and they send updates on future specials and events. We have now visited three of their four locations, and every experience has been fantastic. Rustic House has become one of our favorite local spots, and we will definitely be back! read more

Went to Rustic House after work to celebrate a co-worker leaving for a better job. The bartender Rooster- was far from friendly or skilled. I ordered a Spicy Margarita from the drink menu and Rooster made me feel like I was asking a lot and let me know the drink would take a while to make. Rooster then proceeded to wait on other guests that had a less difficult drink to make. This establishment is in a great location, great food- but the staff needs to have the skill set on a Friday night! read more

We got what we paid for. Good attentive service. Lots of TVs all over the place showing various sports, news and music videos. Comfortable booth seating. May 17, 2026 try a new restaurant in Summerland area definitely five star at the rustic house. Riley was our server. She provided us with excellent customer service recommended the burgers and she was on the chart with the burger was excellent. Definitely need to swing back around on a Sunday to get 50% in New York State à la carte didn't order sides. Definitely recommend this place. It was great. The food was delicious tons of sporting events on a lot of TVs throughout the restaurant/bar and yes, it does have a sports bar vibe but nice and cozy non-smoking restaurant. Very relaxing enjoy our lunch and the atmosphere and the service hats off to the chefs, hostess and server great team. Thank you, Riley for providing us. First time here! I was interested in trying the $25 steak and lobster special as they are a sister location to John Cutter. We walked in and I loved that there was ample seating. The staff was friendly and we were seated right away! The chairs that were for the smaller tables were not very solid. We sat down and sunk into the seats. That was not something that I liked. I like that the utensils are in a big mason jar so it didn't take up too much space on the table. I ordered my steak medium and it came back medium well and the server kind of argued with me but it was tender so I did t send it back. The service was great! Drinks are made well with full flavors and a good pour. I had the steak and lobster special for $25 and it was tasty, but their medium rare was more like medium. My friend had the same order and his rare was medium well. We asked the waitress about it and she said the cook does go a little bit more on the heavier cook side. The chicken fried steak was dry. And the gravy,while tasty, did not help. It was more like a paste or a spread than a gravy. My wife's steak was amazing. My fries were amazing. Got my text from Rustic about VGK game. Showed up with a group of 7. We were okay sitting separately. There was an 8 top open. We sat, told it was reserved. They split us. A couple next to one of our tables offered to move, as they had more coming and needed more room. The same hostess said "you can't sit there or do that." My friend calmly asked why and they said we couldn't push them together. We weren't attempting to do that. Then she said they don't hold tables and there are no reservations. Mind you, she told us to move the first time, as a table was "reserved." Then we explained our entire group was there(several of these seats only had 2 people at the table) she started to raise her voice. The kicker of the entire night was once the VGK game started, there was NO SOUND as they could only put on espn deportes...and wouldn't put it on. This was my second time giving this place a chance. I'm Baffled that it's been voted so highly for steaks. I've had better steaks from Outback, which is embarrassing for a restaurant trying to charge steakhouse prices. I ordered the ribeye and lobster, and my steak came out overcooked and tough. Another person in our group had the same issue. Instead of fixing it professionally, the waitress told me mine was cooked correctly and said the chef would argue it. That response alone tells you everything you need to know about how this place handles complaints. The other steak was sent back and came out severely undercooked the second time, so bad it wasn't even eaten. It's hard to justify these prices when they can't even cook a steak properly once, let alone twice. The restaurant looks great, and has a great atmosphere but that's about where the positives end. The steaks are not worth the money, the quality is inconsistent, and the service response to a legitimate issue was unacceptable. Could be just 2 bad experiences but We shall see on the next go round. read more

Met up with some friends here to watch the Giants/Dodgers game and it was great! The atmosphere was dark, moody, and very rustic as that's the name of the place. It had plenty of seating and had many machines at the bar, whilst the bar was full there were lots of tables open. The service was good and fast! We learned about the drink happy hour and it's a bomb happy hour! Draft beer 50% off SOLD! We ordered the dynamite rolls and they had so much flavor... and so much meat in them.
