Tables for us to use as needed

We held a baby shower for my daughter at the beautiful Spring Lake Manor on 10/29/23. The folks who took care of our needs that day were wonderful. There were plenty of servers for the luncheon, the service was great, and the food was delicious! The room looked beautiful, with white linens on the tables, and black napkins to go with our Halloween theme; we provided the many small decorations and takeaways. The cake from Chocolate Carousel was delicious! I was impressed with the efficiency of the staff in both setting up the room and breaking it down for the next event, but we didn't feel rushed to leave. They were even kind enough to hide our surprise guest until he was announced! Our event was so much fun, with so many options to choose from, and run very efficiently and professionally. We had no worries! We definitely would host another event at Spring Lake Manor.

Have had the chance to spend time here on two separate Holiday occasions. On each occasion the food was solid, nothing spectacular, but a good choice and prepared quite well. The staff is very friendly and hardworking, which is important during the crowded Holiday times. One negative is it is incredibly tight in the dining area. Regardless of when you eat here. There is literally not a seat in the house that you will not find yourself bumping into the people seated next to you, or nudged by a staff that has little or no room to maneuver. Keep this in mind with large groups in particular.

Mother's Day brunch. It looked lovely. It was a buffet. The food however, was not good at all. It wasn't good enough to go back for seconds as we barely touched our first plate. I ate the fruit. My sons liked the waffles. The desserts all tasted stale. Juices and sodas were not included. Honestly I would have been happier at a regular diner. It was a pretty disappointing experience for the price.

I just threw my sisters Bridal Shower here this past weekend. What an amazing experience! From the time I booked, until leaving after the event the staff had me at ease. Everything was coordinated beautifully from the scheduling of when food was served to carrying gifts out to the car every staff member was friendly and helpful. For this being one of the first events I've planned start to finish and worrying about everything being "perfect" and it truly was! I also had every guest compliment how excellent the food was which is truly a blessing when it comes to an event. I would recommend The Spring Lake Manor for every event! Couldn't have asked for a better experience. Thank you John and all the staff!!!

I hosted my sisters bridal shower here and I'm so happy I chose the Spring Lake Manor. Staff was attentive and friendly and extremely helpful. The food was also amazing. The Atlantic room where we held the event was also just a beautiful room that can be easily decorated with any color scheme. I highly recommend this venue and I would have more events here in the future!

A/C window unit was a little noisy but did the job even in 90+ weather. Breakfasts were excellent with options for side dishes. Good location one block from the beach on a quiet street. The wrap-around porch has plenty of seating and is a lovely setting for breakfast. The dining room is rather charmless but large with plenty of seating. Coffee and iced tea available all day. The only bummer was the umbrella. Pro tip: Do not pay $15 to rent an umbrella for a day. The umbrella was poor quality with plastic ribs that collapsed in the wind. We couldn't use it - had to take it down. But the manager refused a refund. The response was, "It was a windy day." Yes, it was a windy day. There are a lot of windy days at the beach. And on this particular windy day everybody else's umbrellas were standing up just fine. None of them were collapsed to half the size like this one.

The weather was great..even with the complimentary downpour day to let the skin come off sizzle mode..just perfect. We were a large family group... family coming in from NY, NM, Ca and Germany. We pushed the limits in space but with the backyard patio area, rooftop hot tub soaking deck (special accolades to that), the ocean so close and so many places you could walk, bike, paddle to we never at all came to in your face situations... which we all know with family is usually inevitable. We wanted to do something special for our Mom (Omi) for her birthday so we took Mary Ann and Tom's referral and hired the caterer that they suggested... we did a luau theme and they came to the house with the pig roast complete with Hawaiian veges and salads. I for one was amazed that we actually surprised her but I do believe we really pulled it off. We were initially hesitant to rent because of landowners sharing the same house..but we started our search late and there weren't many options to accommodate our large group so we took the chance. Couldn't have been any farther from the fears we had to reality. Always friendly and helpful.. never intrusive or controlling. By the time we left it felt like we were leaving old friends.... the hot donuts Mary Ann brought us from an old time LBI donut shop, the morning before we left sealed the deal! Our family grew up summers in LBI..staying with friends that owned and/or our family renting for weeks at a time. I think I can speak for our family in saying we came home that week. A wonderful magical place in our memories. Lucky me got to share it with my granddaughter while my Mom (Omi) is still with us and oh so big a center of our family. 4 generations of LBI addicts.... what better place to enjoy family!

I had seen the Chateau Inn and Suites but since it was about ten more minutes away, I hadn't stayed there yet. When I looked into booking, Sundays were available for one night stays, so I booked a standard queen room. About a week or so before my stay I was reading reviews to get a feel for the place, coffee situation (very important!!) parking etc. and someone mentioned that they do not have elevators. I have a lot of medical issues so this was a big red flag for me and I had not seen it mentioned anywhere. I gave them a call and asked if they could give me a room on the first floor and they told me they'd be happy to, which eased my worries. The parking was described in the reviews as difficult to say the least - it's a very small lot and first come first served. They do have additional parking across the street as well at the station but if you are anything like me and pack for a week even though it's only a night, you definitely want a close spot to carry all of your thirty bags inside. (That being said, and also now that I know their staff is so helpful, as you'll see in my photos I do have a rather gigantic vehicle so I think when I stay here next I will take them up on the additional parking lot offer!!) But this time, I did back my gigantic van into one of the spots and everything worked out just fine so please know it can be done. Walking over to the main entrance I was surrounded by lush hostas, classic beach bicycles and that lovely gray shaker siding that just screams "the shore" and made me super happy. I was greeted inside by Jeff who made me feel very welcome. He then told me that since I had requested the ground floor but they hadn't any more of my specific room on this floor, they upgraded me to a double queen suite with a kitchenette and patio. (I was completely floored by this and thanked him since I needed the ground floor due to a medical issue. It was really important to me and they took it so seriously, it really meant so much.) Jeff gave me a tour of the main reception area and informed me of all of the complimentary refreshments, amenities, beach information and rentals. He offered suggestions on local food and any other businesses should I need them. He seemed very well-informed and experienced on both the area and his work in general. He helped carry my bags to my room and pointed some cool things out along the way. Jeff definitely elevated my experience from the second I walked in that beautiful door and is a perfect first and lasting impression for the Chateau. The incredible room, I imagine, will also be in my memory for a pretty long while. Entering on your very own red brick patio with a real heavy brass key is a kind of charming you cannot buy at a big hotel chain. It just feels a certain way, very North East and classic. The beds are big, fluffy, and the best part is that there is no itchy cover on top - they have giant white (I think down??) quilts and huge pillows, four on each bed. I noticed that there were also a variety of pillows - each bed had two soft and two firm (I'm crazy about my pillows and bring a tiny neck pillow with me but I didn't even need it.) Great mattress, extremely comfortable, like sleeping in a nest of clouds. Impeccably clean. Perfection. The kitchen looked brand new. And spotless. (I even recognized the Kitchen Aid oven as a very high end oven, the Café series maybe??) Beautifully done and a Keurig machine! What more could you want? The bathroom - The room itself of course (does it even need to be said at this point) BEAUTIFUL. One of the things in particular I I enjoyed about this Inn was that everything was so solid and of impressive quality, from the countertops to the bar stools. Nothing felt cheap, or breakable. And I loved that we're not just expected to use a smaller towel as a bath mat - it's an actual real fluffy bath mat!! This is so rare and such a minor detail but to me it made a difference. And the bathroom was probably the cleanest I've ever seen at any hotel I've ever been to (not exaggerating- the entire room was completely spotless.) I highly recommend staying here. Yes, during peak season it can be a little more expensive than some other Inns/hotels but I've stayed at a lot of places in the area and nothing has compared to this level of service, cleanliness, beauty and amenities. And off-season, I have seen the rates being much less than other places. I'd love to come back and stay for longer than one night to be able to explore the beach. I'd probably upgrade myself this time because now that I've had that kitchen and patio I don't think I'd be able to NOT have that kitchen and patio. What have they done to me!

Early on we connected with Kelly at SociaLife and it may have been the best decision we made in the entire process. Not only was the entire SociaLife team professional and well experienced, they were an absolute joy to work with. They helped us with everything from recommending terrific vendors (band, caterers, tent company) to writing in calligraphy all of our guest's seating arrangement on slight slabs of driftwood (and everything in between). With the wedding being located in central NJ, Kelly's ability to connect us with local vendors ultimately saved us a lot in the process and really helped capture what makes the area so special. My wife and I gave Kelly an idea of how we wanted the wedding to feel, but pretty much gave her free reign on aesthetic. We worked together on budget, letting her know things we were ok spending on, and where we wanted to hold back. How she was able to find the most affordable florist with the most amazing flowers is still shocking to me We were lucky to have them helping us throughout the planning, but where their experience was most impactful was during the actual wedding weekend. Neither my wife nor I could pin point an anxious moment or problem that came up during our big day, and that's absolutely because of the tremendous job SociaLife did. Everyone that was involved in our wedding was blown away by their ability to bring together so many moving parts, yet make it look effortless in the process. For anyone that is planning their wedding, please reach out to SociaLife, as we would have not enjoyed the day as much as we did without their help. Since the wedding, almost every guest has genuinely told us it was the best wedding they've ever been to - which, can be kind of awkward as most of our friends are married - but, is completely true.
