This is the first time I have eaten at this burger place. It's located right off highway 20 and Pleasant Valley road in Penn Valley. Attached to 76 gas station. We were starving after a very long drive! I ordered a regular plain burger and my friend ordered the teriyaki burger. Both burgers had a great taste to them and the buns are delicious. They were out of regular fries so we had to get jojos instead (similar to steak fries). There was only one other person in the establishment but still took over 25 MINUTES to get our to go order. I can't imagine how they do when they have more patrons! Staff was friendly. I didn't take pictures of the food because we were so hungry and needed nourishment before getting back on the road. This place is not trying to improve on their very low rating at all. Stopped in at 7:15pm on a Tuesday. Couldn't order fries or any sides. Just burgers cause the fryer was already closed. Ok. I'll take a cheeseburger. Here you go and now take your burger & get out cause the doors lock at 7:40... Lights off as soon as I walked outside to write this review. Don't stay open unless you are able to serve anything n everything on the menu & if its almost closing time, let patrons know b4 they order if its to go only. I don't care how good this burger might taste, Im never coming back & another 1 star review for your zero star establishment. Don't be confused when you are out of business next year. We used to enjoy the burgers once in awhile. The past couple times we went in and the only help were two girls talking while one was doing some cleaning(?) on the grill. We wanted to give them our order and sit, but they never gave us a second look, just kept chatting. SO, we left. Home isn't far from there, so we ate there. After waiting in line for 5 minutes the manager informed me that they were switching cash registers and it would take 15 minutes- I look behind me and there is NO ONE in line- I was so shocked to of been singled out and asked to wait a total of 20 minutes for food. I left and spent my $15 in cash at a business that wants to keep a customer. If the owner of this company knew that the employees were choosing to serve I'm sure they would make management changes. Stopped in for the burger that put tgis place on the map. This location is attached to a gas station and it looks like 7 Eleven Inc. is getting their fingers in the pie? I am no fan of big corps buying out mom and pop shops, but that is another story. We waited about 15 minutes before the cook was done so he could take our order. A gal was standing in the back watching the cook, perhaps she wasn't on the clock? Once we placed our order, it took about 20-25 mins to get our food, waiting in a very cold dining room. The gal started putting pizzas in an oven so apparently she does 'work' there. Another cook started helping as a few more people came in. I cannot imagine coming here if there were more than two people waiting for food. The burger gets 5 stars, it was amazing. Not sure I would come back unless calling ahead and wearing a parka while I ate. read more

If I could give this a -5 stars I would. Sign on the door was never switched from "closed" Entered and saw just cook at the grill, he looked at us but never acknowledged us, never said someone will be with you, nothing. Waited about ten minutes when someone from the 7-11 side of the shared space, she didn't say anything to us just went and prepped some fried stuff and took it back to 7-11,on her way as she passed us she said be with you . Waited about 5 more minutes... she came back from 7-11 and went by the grill, came back and grabbed a rag and proceeded to wipe down tables.... We left...... unbelievable!!!!! read more

My favorite is the grill cheese sandwich with tomatoes. Haven't had a complaint yet. Customer service is always top notch.

Food was pretty good but it takes FOREVER to get your food. Staff was polite but this is no fast food establishment. The door says they open at 6 am. I arrived at 8 am and the doors where still locked I had to go through the gas station to access it. None of the screens where on so I couldn't look at a menu. This place has potential but needs a new owner or a better management to make things work smoothly read more

The burger was pretty good, the fries were disgusting and the ranch sauce was horrible.

My first experience and it's not that good. They decided to start closing early so by the time we came in 25 min before closing w a larger order they said they couldn't make us anything on the fryer, they don't make milk shakes and turned off the screen quickly so we couldn't order anything else.. We got some burgers they were alright. Never coming back here again. The customer service was lacking and it wasn't that good of experience or food. Best burgers in the area are pine street burgers by far. read more

All the trappings of traditional ridiculous burgers but with a giant slab of FRIED CHEESE...yes you read that right. guy Fieri and his hair both like this place as the burgers are on a whole 'nother level. Some cooks have no food safety sense. Nothing like licking ones fingers and touching food. Bare hands all over you food when serving. Half cooked burgers. A couple of months ago we couldn't reach The Squeeze Inn by phone. NO ONE WOULD ANSWER THEIR PHONE...when we arrived there (we were craving burgers) we were told the adjoining GAS STATION was responsible for not picking up the phone. HUH??!! A couple of months later, craving a burger again; called, someone friendly answered, took our orders, and when we arrived, all ready to go. Wonderful!! We were so pleased they were on top of things. We just called to order, NO ANSWER, IT GOES INTO VOICE MAIL of all things (I tried 5 times within an hour)...this is just NOT ACCEPTABLE, and they need to get their act together. Great burgers, friendly staff and an amazing coke machine! I got the squeezeburger with cheese and it comes with a huge 'cheese skirt' where there's 3" of extra cheese fried around the burger. The burger was delicious and cooked with a good medium cook. read more

Was not served with a smile in the slightest. Only two people were working for the closing shift and they were both very rude. The burger was good tho. The frozen custard was good. The burger? Well, it had lots of cheese; the cheese has some kind of red coating on the bottom, but I couldn't find out what it was. The hamburger meat was only OK. We live nearby, drive past it every day, but only went there once - that says a lot. read more

We came up to Bridgeport for a Hike, saw the sign for The Squeeze Inn on the drive up. Absolutely yummy!! Way too big that's my only complaint. We had awesome service and were given a sample of the frozen custard which I would have ordered if I had room. Way over priced to start with and a completely average burger except for the cheese skirt. I love cheese but this "skirt" thing looks way cooler on TV than it taste in real life. The only reason I could see for that much cheese is if you had a horrible case of diarrhea and had no pepto bismol. I have always wanted to try Squeeze Inn and finally got a chance now that they have moved in a few minutes from the house. My wife and I both got veggie burgers. My burger was mushroom and my wife's was black bean. I got the whole fried cheese treatment and she did not. We found both burgers delicious! Service was great and friendly! Highly recommend this place for burgers. They have a few other things on the menu, but the burgers are a cut above! read more

I shop at this establishment often. It is also attached to a 76 Station. I am looking for businesses that are willing to enforce the California mandated law to wear masks. This place does not even though they have a sign on their door stating that masks are required. read more

It's a squeeze inn of Cody Rae the food is to die for!!! The hot dog is huge and delicious. The grilled cheese is giant and delicious. The burger is famously delicious. You get a healthy portion of fries also. It's a bit pricey but I say worth it for the quantity and quality of the food. The staff is super friendly and the restaurant is clean. read more

Great addition to PV! The boys absolutely love getting burgers here. The girls prefer the amazing grilled cheese sandwiches. Sometimes the wait is crazy, but it means We're getting fresh hot food...
