Smoldering pine burger with extra patty ($15 + $3.80)
    Eugene N.

I went here on a whim because it had a good Yelp score. Glad we did. Casual place, friendly staff. Self serve fountain drinks for refills. Menu is not overwhelming so you know everything should be pretty good. Ordered the Smoldering burger with extra patty, the nut burger, kids plain burger (cheese not included and is extra--didn't add it here) (comes with chips and fountain drink), regular dog with cheese, and 2 order of fries. Came out to Bout $65 tax included. Everything is made to order. You can taste the freshness. The patties on the burger are generous. I mean the kids burger is a 1/4 lb patty. I believe it looks to be the same with the other burgers. Even if I just stuck to a single patty, it would not have felt like the bread was overpowering due to the bacon and other toppings on the burger. The burger was dang good. It looked and tasted like a $15 burger (more like $19 since I added an extra patty for $3.80). Just wish fries were included at this price point. The surprise here is the vegetarian Nut burger. This thing was flavorful. Good mouth feel and satisfying full of flavor. If I was mistakenly given this instead of a real burger I would be ok with it. Some people may not like the texture--as it is nutty, but its not too bad. Fries were fries, but using their house made ketchup for it along with the burger just enhances it. Didn't try the hot dog, but it was finished so I'm assuming it was fine. Only gripe was my smoldering burger seemed to be cooked too much as it started to get on the drier side. Not totally well done, but would have been better just if taken off a little sooner. Maybe the cook just lost track of time on this one. Definitely coming again when in the area!

Burgers were delicious, juicy, flavorful and well priced! We didn't have high expectations of pine street as it's located in a strip mall outside of town center but the food was on point! It was a meaty, beefy delicious burger. The Caramelized onion and Swiss cheese tasted great together the burger was fat and filling! We were definitely not hungry after and left full and happy! If I had any complaint it was the lower bun got a little soggy (but that happens at every burger joint I know). I really liked the burgers at pine street and wish I lived in the area to come more often!

Over $70 for 3 burgers, 2 shakes and 1 fountain drink!! I get it's 2024 and things are expensive but they didn't bring the food to the table, they didn't bus the table, the restaurant smells weird and when I said hello to the girl taking my order- she looked me dead in the face said ABSOLUTELY NOTHING. Hard pass on visiting again. My chicken sandwich was very flavorful with Swiss cheese and I added grilled onions but given all the details above, not worth the price in my opinion.

Delicious food with a small town, fresh feel. The inside and menu adds to the ambiance of an old small town burger shop. The burger options are delicious and juicy, they don't hold back on the toppings. They also have a great list of hot dog options too. Garlic fries were delicious and fresh - bacon was top tier best thing on my burger so recommend getting a burger dish bacon. Lots of milkshake options, I got a dairy free option which was amazing they had that, but I'd recommend picking a stronger flavor. Service was AMAZING! So kind, but be willing to wait 10 ish minutes since they make it fresh. Not the cheapest option, we got 2 burgers, a sandwich , 2 shakes, a soda and 2 fries for 85$. Would totally go back again though, I think it's worth the price for the quality and size of food over and over again.

Food is good and my wife loves this place but chili burger, fries, soda and a shake 40.00 before tip.

Was a delicious vegetarian burger. Garlic fries were the real deal. Tons of garlic and crispy. Homemade ketchup was welcomed addition. Seating indoors and outdoors. Friendly staff. Prices aren't cheap but it was quality.

RUN DON'T WALK!! First time there the place was medium busy lol but we got two blue burgers with sides of pesto and sweet potato fries and a drink. Register ladies were sweet. I haven't had a good burger in a long time. live in sac, I will travel up here just for these burgers. Oh I also love me some ranch and you have to pay for the sauce but the ranch is so good it's like a dill ranch and I don't think I could have ate any faster bahahah. I think the price we paid was deserving, I think it was about 45 ish. I do wish they had a combo meal option. Thank you very much and see You again!

This is a great casual restaurant located off of East Main Street in Grass Valley. It is very close to the freeway with ample private parking. They are known for their burgers and hot dogs. They also have salads for a lighter option. This place gets quite busy at lunch..probably because it's close to the hospital and Sierra College. I had the basic burger and it was juicy and tasty ( no fries). I have eaten here before with my friend and we had the jalapeño burger...if you like heat Like i do then this is the burger for you! It has almost a retro feel..kind of like a mom and pop burger joint but elevated. I like that they have a covered outdoor eating area as well. It is surrounded by plants and is very relaxing to enjoy with your friends! I will definitely eat here again but will wait till after the lunch hour rush. Ps. Forgot to take a pic of my food...must have been hungry! They open at 11am daily.

Is this the best burger I've ever had ???

Best burgers in Grass Valley. We've been coming here for since they opened. The only thing that bugs me is the request for a tip at the cash register.

They have a variety of dogs... all beef, Italian sausage, spicy hot link, elk, bison, boar, and beyond brat (vegan). Look for the food truck in the parking lot with a Shell gas station on Highway 50. The dogs are served up plain or you can get them specialized as in a Chicago dog, Sonoran dog, chili cheese, etc. The dogs range $7.50-$15. Plus they got fries$5-13. Those too are served plain or specialized. My faves are the chili fries, Chicago dog, and New York style dog. The chili is no beans and the fries are double fried giving them an extra crispy layer of crust. I do have to tell them light on the onions and mustard because they give you a full bang for your buck and load it up. But Hubs likes it that way. I like to wash it all down with their homemade lemonade. It's the real deal, made with lemons, sugar, and water. The $6 lemonade is served up in a whomping 32 ounce container. Get this, they serve breakfast as well. You can get an egg, cheese, hash brown on an 8 inch Italian roll or bowl. $9.50. Add bacon, sausage or steak $2.50-$4.50 extra.

John and his team have your hot dogs covered for your dining pleasure in western Placer County. It's mid afternoon, Saturday, June 07, 2025, and I'm enjoying the Rocklin Brewfest 2025 and I'm in the mood for a delicious hot dog. I've come to the right place, as Doggiestyle Hot Dogs was on site, and serving hot dogs for all to enjoy. This is a pop-up restaurant that servers hot dogs at events all over western Placer County. I went with a "Quarter Pound Nathan Dog," How can you beat that for a great hot dog? The dog began with a quarter pound Nathan's Hot Dog, which was grilled to perfection by hot dog chef John, on site, at the Rocklin Brewfest. The dog was simply perfect, and fitted perfectly with the large, fresh bun, which was a start for an amazing lunch. On to the condiments! The trip to the nearby condiment bar was worthwhile, as I added a cornucopia of condiments, including mustard, mayonnaise, dill pickle relish, chopped white onion, sauerkraut and especially peperoncini, which is a rare treat for hot dogs. I suppose you could call my hot dog loaded? No ketchup whatsoever, as I never desecrate a hot dog by adding ketchup. Not to mention... may I say my dog was loaded with delicious condiments? One bite into the dog I was rewarded with a refreshing "snap," thanks to the natural casing on Nathan's Hot Dog, which made the hot dog both worthwhile and simply delicious. The condiments I added simply enhanced the dog, and didn't take anything away from the amazing hot dog, and the fresh bun. Such a delicious hot dog! Chef John knows how to grill a hot dog, and the Nathan's Hot Dog he grills are as good as it gets. I tip my cowboy hat to chef John, and his delicious hot dogs! Five star dining for all of you who love a delicious hot dog.
