Best Nutella milkshake I've ever had. Me and my husband drive over 30 minutes to get one. 10/10 would recommend

My Hubby, daughter, & I tried this spot for the first time the other weekend. The customer service was fine, the place didn't seem dirty to me, other than a large possibly chili pot near the sitting area lol, nothing to complain about. I saw someone complain about the house-made ketchup, but I liked it! And it was also toddler approved by my daughter. My Husband got the habanero burger and he said that is what a spicy burger should be! I got the basic burger and loved it. The only thing I would add are pickles LOL. But the bun was so fresh and the burger was the perfect size. It was busy since it was a Sunday but we waited maybe 10-15 minutes for our food, and it was nice and cool inside. I GOT TO COLOUR! Honestly you throw in some colouring pages and I'm sold! The food was absolutely delicious and felt so natural and fresh too. I had the daily special Greek wrap but others I was with ordered burgers and quesadillas. I will say that the garlic fries were VERY garlicky to the point where our whole car reeked of garlic for a day afterwards! The service was great and everyone was so so kind! We had an adult who wanted to order a kids meal when the menu specifically says 12 and under, but they still let us get the meal which was so nice! The vibe was fun but it was very very busy and chaotic inside. We ended up waiting about 35 minutes for our food but the colouring made up for it! There's more natural flavors to the food than MacDonald's or Burger King. But for the price, I expected more and better. I ordered the week"s special which was a burger with brie. Small burger. The ingredients were minimal, from the size of the pattie to the amount of brie. I hardly tasted the brie. The fries were thin cut and soft and too salty, no crispiness at all. The shakes are overpriced. They ask for tips but it's self service. You order with the cashier, get your food at the counter...Just like MacDonald's or Burger King. read more

I went here on a whim because it had a good Yelp score. Glad we did. Casual place, friendly staff. Self serve fountain drinks for refills. Menu is not overwhelming so you know everything should be pretty good. Ordered the Smoldering burger with extra patty, the nut burger, kids plain burger (cheese not included and is extra--didn't add it here) (comes with chips and fountain drink), regular dog with cheese, and 2 order of fries. Came out to Bout $65 tax included. Everything is made to order. You can taste the freshness. The patties on the burger are generous. I mean the kids burger is a 1/4 lb patty. I believe it looks to be the same with the other burgers. Even if I just stuck to a single patty, it would not have felt like the bread was overpowering due to the bacon and other toppings on the burger. The burger was dang good. It looked and tasted like a $15 burger (more like $19 since I added an extra patty for $3.80). Just wish fries were included at this price point. The surprise here is the vegetarian Nut burger. This thing was flavorful. Good mouth feel and satisfying full of flavor. If I was mistakenly given this instead of a real burger I would be ok with it. Some people may not like the texture--as it is nutty, but its not too bad. Fries were fries, but using their house made ketchup for it along with the burger just enhances it. Didn't try the hot dog, but it was finished so I'm assuming it was fine. Only gripe was my smoldering burger seemed to be cooked too much as it started to get on the drier side. Not totally well done, but would have been better just if taken off a little sooner. Maybe the cook just lost track of time on this one. Definitely coming again when in the area! read more

I visited this place for the 1st time yesterday. oh my god, the burger was delicious and big. Decided to try the plain old cheeseburger with Swiss Cheese. I will return and try the Bacon/Blue Cheese next time. Very nice employees and one great thing the burger was nice and hot (temp wise). This place used to be SO GOOD but man, not any more. We were there at 4:30 this afternoon and I ordered a chicken Ceaser salad, used to be my favorite. Today, the lettuce was WARMe and limp, the chicken was tepid and was NOT fresh off the grill. The, ha ha ha, "garlic bread" was a HALF OF A HOT DOG BUN that they'd slapped oil on and threw on the grill to quickly heat it. It was FLAT. And the croutons! I had a mountain of croutons that I picked out becasue while I like croutons, I like a FEW not half the salad. VERY POOR quality. Never again. Burgers were delicious, juicy, flavorful and well priced! We didn't have high expectations of pine street as it's located in a strip mall outside of town center but the food was on point! It was a meaty, beefy delicious burger. The Caramelized onion and Swiss cheese tasted great together the burger was fat and filling! We were definitely not hungry after and left full and happy! If I had any complaint it was the lower bun got a little soggy (but that happens at every burger joint I know). I get it's 2024 and things are expensive but they didn't bring the food to the table, they didn't bus the table, the restaurant smells weird and when I said hello to the girl taking my order- she looked me dead in the face said ABSOLUTELY NOTHING. Delicious food with a small town, fresh feel. The inside and menu adds to the ambiance of an old small town burger shop. The burger options are delicious and juicy, they don't hold back on the toppings. They also have a great list of hot dog options too. Garlic fries were delicious and fresh - bacon was top tier best thing on my burger so recommend getting a burger dish bacon. Lots of milkshake options, I got a dairy free option which was amazing they had that, but I'd recommend picking a stronger flavor. Service was AMAZING! So kind, but be willing to wait 10 ish minutes since they make it fresh. Not the cheapest option, we got 2 burgers, a sandwich , 2 shakes, a soda and 2 fries for 85$. This is a great casual restaurant located off of East Main Street in Grass Valley. It is very close to the freeway with ample private parking. They are known for their burgers and hot dogs. They also have salads for a lighter option. This place gets quite busy at lunch..probably because it's close to the hospital and Sierra College. I had the basic burger and it was juicy and tasty ( no fries). I have eaten here before with my friend and we had the jalapeño burger...if you like heat Like i do then this is the burger for you! It has almost a retro feel..kind of like a mom and pop burger joint but elevated. I like that they have a covered outdoor eating area as well. First time visit! Had the swiss and mushroom burger that goes by some other cool name... and a side of the habeñero sauce. When it arrived it had a stack of napkins. I thought they made a mistake by giving me so many, but NOPE! Delicious. Slightly messy, spring lettuce, loaded with cheese and grilled mushrooms and carmelized onions. There was one person in front of me when I arrived at about noon on a Friday. What I ordered was a basic hamburger, medium, to go, with lettuce and tomato and only light ketchup. The total cost was about $11 and I included a $1 tip. I have empathy for those who work in hot kitchens. But the overall prices seemed high and did not include any sides or drinks-- not that I wanted fries or a Coke. The burger did not show up for 25 minutes and, when it did, it was slathered with sauce. 25 minutes is way too long for the preparation and serving of a basic burger! There may also have been a miscommunication between the two cashiers as one of their point of pay systems was malfunctioning. I was shuffled to the other register. I was out of time, so I returned the burger and got a refund. I've had a good experience with the across town Burger and Cream. I'll be taking my business there in the future. read more
