We had our wedding at the Stakeout in July. The staff was really kind and professional. The food and cocktails/mocktails were amazing! We received so many compliments from our guests. We chose to have our wedding here because of the stunning views and beautiful New Mexican architecture. The dining room and patio are gorgeous and you don't have to add anything extra to make the space look great. We liked that they provide tables/chairs/decor and have a day of coordinator. We worked with 3 different coordinators leading up to our wedding but Caroline was wonderful and supported us so much throughout the weekend. Our wedding day was seamless thanks to the Stakeout team.

The house is gorgeous with two tiny salons, a dining area and kitchen. You can feel the history. There are coffee table books documenting Mabel and Tony's life and their influences on the area. We spent about 30 minutes reading. Visiting hours are between 10.00am and 2.00pm each day if you are not resident. When there are no workshops or events coming after 2.00pm is fine. Breakfast is available for the public to book, $15 each for a good buffet. Reception has a number of books and cards for sale. The Dia de los Muertos shrine for Dennis Hopper was still up and many photographs surrounded it. What history this house has seen. Georgia O'Keefe, Ansel Adams, DH Lawrence and Martha Graham graced these rooms in Mabel's day. Dennis and his friends brought a livlier set no doubt! The restaurant was amazing, the original bar that stayed it all was still actively going, and Anthony was busy collecting native art and using traditional builders and native materials to finish out his vision. I had many a meal with Anthony and his amazing family in the sunroom of the main residence. Days I lovingly remember as some of the finest hospitality I've received in my vast travels. I'd recommend any and all of this business's many arms. The Inn was the best time I had on a 7mo southern US tour I had the pleasure of going on through my studies and scholarship. The patio was gorgeous- I'm betting its even prettier in the spring and summer. Apparently the owner only opens the facility for parties. The bar has a door leading to the patio which was super convenient and the staff were all very nice. On another section is the Inn at the Delta which is absolutely GORGEOUS! The rooms run slightly on the pricey side but they include breakfast and beautiful accommodations.

It was more than we could imagine, we stayed in a lovely room, with comfortable beds, a fire place and a cute bathroom. There was even an enclosed patio with a gate off of the room (made it easier to let the dog out in the morning). The space was very open and we felt like we were at home. There was wireless internet, satellite TV and plenty of space for my friend, my dog and I to roam around. We were the only ones there during our stay and my dog LOVED it! Plenty to sniff and explore. Anne, the owner is wonderful and sweet. She recommended great places for us to eat and helped us find our way around. They offer great pet services and we were allowed to leave our well-behaved dog in the room. The breakfasts were delicious, every morning there was coffee, tea, juice, granola with fresh fruit and yogurt. And if you wanted eggs and bacon made to order with scones! This is a little ways outside of Santa Fe but so worth the stay, much better than being in a city. The views from the Hacienda were gorgeous and we saw snow, clear skies, cloudy days, and starry nights (in the two days we were there in late March). It was gorgeous! Can't wait to go back!

Each room and main room had a fireplace which was a nice touch to add to the ambiance with the fall weather. The place decorates itself- the architecture is southwestern and unique. The views are gorgeous and the place is perfectly secluded, yet there is still access to the funky little town of Madrid close by. We couldn't have picked a better spot for our intimate family wedding. The team at the Hacienda made planning from a distance very easy for us and we were well taken care of. We are truly so happy with our choice to get married at Hacienda Dona Andrea :)
