Great place to get Italian flatbread! Their piadina is always made fresh to order. I got the Piemonte which is my go to order. Due to the truffle aioli, it has a steong flavor kick so if you're not a fan of truffle, you can try their Austin one which comes with garlic aioli instead and avocados to balance out the brisket flavor. The flatbread is nice and crispy on the outside and a soft chew texture. They also give a good amount of meat and sauce so it just blends so well! The staff here are friendly and very open to explain their menu to you if it's your first time. They also do have a rewards app, which you can accumulate points between this store and their sister store Sole Toscano in Irvine, but you can only redeem points when you order through their app, just a heads up! Between this store and their sister store, the piadinas here are much better!

I ordered a custom/build your own sandwich with Italian cooked ham and they only put one single slice onto the entire sandwich. Barely any tomatoes and the pesto was just one big blob. I ordered through DoorDash which is why I couldn't see them make it. Very disappointing.

Great place for some good quick bites! They have Italian sandwiches, salads, and pizzas. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Aesthetic & Ambiance: 7/10 it's mainly a walk up and order, but you can also see your food and ingredients further down. The décor is minimal and the vibe is more fast casual with a handful of seating inside but plenty outside.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Service: 8/10 quick and friendly, and made sure I got my food outside. The Irvine Sandwich: 8/10 the soppressata has a little spicy bite, but the pesto evens it out with a great herb taste. The bread is also great, very thin, and crispy.

Cheap on portions with piadizza & salad. Low class service to be all money. Employees lack to be customer friendly. Felt discriminated to come here on ordering & [[HIGHLIGHT]]feels more like a modern Starbucks vibe.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Stay away for sure honestly.

Deliciousness, love the crisp and softness at the same time of this flatbread filled with veggies!

Absolutely love their vegetariana flat bread sandwich here. Deliciousness in a sandwich! I love the crisp and softness at the same time along with the variety of veggies it comes with. Service was fast and friendly. I hope this place stays in business for a long time. Such a fantastic quick snack/meal!

I was looking to buy sandwiches for a party of 3, and I initially went to Which Wich which was next door. I was overwhelmed with customizing 3 sandwiches and wanted something pre-made, so I left that store and decided to check out Piadina! I was very content with the various Italian sandwiches offered on their menu. I ordered the Parma (pictured), Reggio, and Genova. The Reggio had the most spice, but all 3 entrees were straightforward and delicious! The service was quick and the employees were all very kind. For a unique cultural twist on sandwiches, check out Piadina at the Marketplace!

I've been coming to this place for over 5 years now and it never disappoints! I always get the California and substitute the tomatoes for sun dried tomatoes. I highly suggest you try this! I am incredibly picky when it comes to my pesto and I dream about this pesto! Everything about this sandwich is perfection. The sandwich is always done to perfection and staff is always nice. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The place is always clean![[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I love coming here. I'm a customer for life!

Solid Italian sandwich that's a great option to stop by for a healthy and delicious lunch. Located in the Tustin side of the Marketplace there's plenty of parking. The workers were pleasant and offered suggestions for first time eaters which is always appreciated. My sandwich was great, I especially loved the bread as it was crispy and the prosciutto was great.

    Tricolore Piadizza (super yummy!)

I love the sister eatery, Sole Toscano, by the same owner and am super happy that Piadina is closeby to my workplace and the GrubHub delivery went very smoothly. The tricolore piadizza was exactly what I wanted it to be: very light and low-calorie with ultra-premium ingredients straight from Italy. I can really taste the difference in quality in the mozzarella cheese and the pesto is very smooth and clean. The tomatoes were nice and fresh too. Piadina's menu items are so awesome because they are incredibly tasty but I can eat most of their items even as I am on a very restricted diet due to the quality and lightness. I'm planning to get Piadina once a week via GrubHub from my workplace, and every other weekday will be my restricted diet lunch. Very reliable, even for deliveries, so I'm very happy!

It was my first time at Piadina, and it was such a great experience. I asked for a recommendation for a spicy sandwich, and the woman at the front was incredibly helpful. She suggested a few options and even allowed me to customize it. The sandwich turned out to be amazing, spicy and fresh! I'll definitely be back next time I'm in town. Highly recommend!

I recommend the pizzas here. I also love the sandwiches that remind me of calzones. Get the pepperoni pizza at lunch time and the hard to find speciality chips. Big helpings, healthy and delicious, and good value!

They make their bread fresh! Way better than subway where the bread's just sitting there.

Writing this nine years later, tried piadina when i was a senior in highschool and now I'm a Full fledged adult with a job haha! Wow piadina is such a gem, their sandwiches are absolutely delicious, crunchy and fresh. But to expand on my previous review, I want to talk about their sandwich specials, specifically the Piamonte sandwich. If you are hungry, ravenous for something fulfilling but light and tasty and meaty, more so than a sub sandwich, this is IT. Dunno how the staff made made such a magical combo, but I also recommended this specific sandwich to my friends and it is LIFE CHANGING: brisket, truffle aioli, onion, arugula. One note: its on their special menu you have to walk in or call to order, but it's worth it...I'm sad I finished it all before taking a picture. Really hope they have it on the menu for awhile, as I plan to come back to savor it again! Thank you Piadina!

Piadina is here to satiate your sandwich cravings with a light, pita-like flatbread filled with delicate textures and flavors ranging from chicken pesto to italian-style deli meats (salami and friends). The concept is simple, but the execution is strong. More lively than a Subway and carb-conscious friendly, Piadina provides a convenient and healthy option in the Tustin Marketplace. There is plenty of outdoor seating shared with other nearby restaurants. Parking is also easily accessible. So which sandwiches hit those tasty notes? The California Chicken, with it's delicious pesto sauce and render roasted chicken, is a standout. The Austin, with its juicy brisket, garlic aioli - and again that pesto sauce - is also delicious. The Italian flavors also have a couple of standouts like the Reggio, with its spicy mix of tatar and hot sauce combined with the umami of mushroom and prosciutto. There are also salads (effectively the sandwiches with greens instead of flatbread) and flatbread "pizzas" called Piadizzas available. These sandwiches are delicate rather than hearty. If you are hungry, you may want a couple of orders instead of one. These sandwiches are delicate - you won't find a mountain of meat inside these thin pockets of tasty bread - but that is exactly their appeal. You'll enjoy eating a sandwich or two here, guilt-free!

Hi Marco, is there any info available on nutrition/calories intake for the menu at your restaurant (particularly the Piadina sandwich)? I see there was a similar question asked 8 months ago, and the team was working to post it on their website?

At the very least, these piadina sandwiches are about as healthy as sandwiches will ever get!

Do you have a menu that reflects the calorie intake for each food item?

Hello Martha, at this time we don't have the calories count for our sandwiches and salads. We are working on it and we should have an updated menu with this information in a few weeks. Regards.

I recently visited and noticed the dough is different. Did they change the recipe? Its not as good in my opinion.

Didn't they used to make pie? Do they plan to do that again? I remember them being so good!

Yesterday, I phoned into order some sandwich platters for a small gathering. I want to give praise to one of the nicest ladies ever! Pearla is so sweet, attentive and patient as I was navigating all the "goodness" on the catering menu. I wasn't rushed, I didn't feel as if she was in a hurry, although I KNOW she was busy, as Claro's always is. At the end of our conversation she called me "honey" reminding me of my Italian aunties and grammy. I'll be coming back to Claro's for years to come and so will our children! Added after event - still love Claros' but what happened to the bread? As another person posted, it's not the same Claro's bread I'm accustomed too. Sadly the sandwich bread was way too thick and "tough" to bite. I love my bread and unfortunately, tossed it and ate the delicious deli meats. (other ladies did too) I hope this was just a 4th of July busy weekend oversight. :-/

Che cazzo! The cheese selection is also quite small and grim for an 'Italian market', Belgioso is fine, but it's just a Wisconsin cheese found at any Ralph's. I'd expect some imports or something, but no caccicavallo or robiola in sight. My teeny Midwest town in WI can do 10x better than this. And I won't get into how stale the sandwich bread is....maybe Cortina's is better? The fact that so many OC people think this is a good sandwich place explains a lot of the high ratings on Yelp for restaurants here. Y'all have long covid and lost your taste buds!

Of course, I found it on Yelp first--I always check Yelp before trying somewhere new! The sandwich was absolutely delicious. I honestly could have eaten more, but somehow managed to stop myself. Once I made my way into the market, I was in heaven. I had the opportunity to chat with the cashier, who was incredibly friendly. She told me it's a family-owned business and that she genuinely loves working there, which really says a lot about the place. I loved browsing all the sauces, fresh pasta, imported products, and beautiful pastries. Naturally, I couldn't leave empty-handed! I brought home a few goodies, including Mike's Hot Honey, which is absolutely delicious drizzled over a soft cheese. The combination of wonderful food, a welcoming atmosphere, and a fantastic market made this such a memorable stop. The next time we're back in California, we'll definitely be returning!
