Was craving a burger but I have a gluten intolerance. Not too many places have gluten free buns and found that I can have any burger here with a GF Bun! With so many choices, I decided on the Havarti Shroom burger and it did not disappoint! Cooked exactly how I wanted it and the havarti with mushrooms was very balanced. Casual but still inviting. The only hiccup was figuring out where to pay--the counter isn't obvious at all when you first walk in. I thought it was at the bar, but it's actually tucked away in the very back. Food time: my boyfriend ordered the short rib grilled cheese, and he said it was just as delicious as he remembered from Northridge. I went with the jalapeño bacon burger and a kids-size mac and cheese (yes, they offer two sizes). The burger? Incredible. It reminded me of the cheap jalapeño cheeseburgers I used to inhale at Carl's Jr. back in college--but this one was on a whole different level. Fresh, flavorful, with crispy bacon, onion strings that weren't soggy, and just the right amount of jalapeños for a perfect kick. I demolished it. The mac and cheese, though, was another story--lukewarm, bland, and underwhelming. Even my boyfriend, who usually doesn't mind mild flavors, agreed. As a mac and cheese snob, I was hoping for better. Ordered their mushroom burger and the wife ordered an ABC burger Wait time was about 15mins for a busy weekend, indoor and outdoor sitting is available. If you download the app you get buy one get one free, which we didn't know as it wasn't advertised anywhere. Pricing is a bit high. For two burgers a drink and onion rings was almost $40. The food was good quality, the servers were nice and overall had a positive experience. Cons: for the prices you'd expect a drink and some fries, but those aren't included. After a 2 hour road trip, my husband and I stopped by The Stand for a quick bite. Their menu has lots of good and greasy options that sound mouth watering. I ordered the short rib grilled cheese and my husband got a burger (I forgot which one). We also ordered chili cheese fries and onion rings on the side. The food was tasty but the short rib grilled cheese was a little too much for me. It had lots of short rib meat which might be perfect for some people but it definitely overpowered the grilled cheese part for me. My husband said the burger was decent too. Staff was friendly and and there's lots of seating inside and outside. No issues with finding parking in their lot. It was really busy and since everything is made to order, you will be waiting 15 minutes or so for your order. I ordered the Chicken Club Sandwich which included a perfectly grilled chicken breast on a brioche bun,bacon, avocado,arugula and a sweet chili aioli. Everything paired really well and was super fresh. Their fries were also fresh, simple but delicious. One sauce that stood out to me was their ranch! I'm assuming it's made in-house and it was my favorite! They also had a sauce similar to your typical thousand island which was also delicious. My son ordered the beef burger with cheddar cheese on a brioche bun which he devoured. For his side, he chose Mac and Cheese which he also loved and he ordered the Cookie Butter milkshake. Went back out to give them another shot, and we were very satisfied! I got the same thing as last time and it was so much better. The food was nice and warm/hot still. My burger wasn't overcooked, medium rare just how I wanted it. The chili cheese fries didn't have crazy chunks of onions or tomato. My meal was perfect, honestly. My partner got the turkey sandwich and enjoyed it very much! His only complaint was that the large garden salad wasn't very large.. We discovered that we REALLY enjoy the following items from the Stand: 1) Chimichurri steak salad 2) onion rings -- I'm really picky about my onion rings and these are the perfect amount of crispy and thick. 3) 1/4 lb stand hot dog with as many toppings as possible I've also had the turkey burger, which is decent, and my husband likes the veggie burger. I've never dined in so I can't speak to the service and the ambiance. That said, I'm only giving 4 stars because sometimes the food isn't consistent when we order delivery. A couple times the chimichurri salad came with little to no greens, for example, and once it tasted really different from usual. I couldn't put my finger on why, exactly, but it wasn't as good and I couldn't finish it. Otherwise, we have really enjoyed ordering from the Stand almost every week. read more

I've always been a fan of The Stand, but my visit today was unfortunately very difficult to enjoy. It was 100°F outside, and the air conditioning inside was broken, making the dining room incredibly hot. While I understand that equipment failures happen, it was quite a struggle to finish a meal in those temperatures. I felt especially bad for the staff, who were working hard despite the heat, but it made for an uncomfortable environment for a sit-down lunch. I really wish there had been a sign at the door or a heads-up from the staff so we could have ordered for takeout instead. I'd love to come back because the food is usually great, but unfortunately I wont be wanting to return until the A/C is back up and running. read more

Re-writing my review because it got flagged & removed for some reason :) but okay let me re-word things this time. Came here for dinner with my husband, brother in laws & my toddler. We were confused on where the entrance was but after looking around for a bit, we found it and headed inside. Once inside we were confused again on if we just walked to order or if we sat down. We had to ask other customers near by who then told us to just walk down and order. Lots of seating here, lots of tv. Great place to hang out with friends, especially if there's a game on. Service was okay, the girls at the register were nice but the ones walking around didn't look like they wanted to be there. I got the stand burger, which was delicious and reminded me of the habit.
