It was yummy. The server was quick, guided us through some suggestions, and our order was out reasonably quickly. Banff gets busy in the afternoon. We arrive just before the rush at 2 PM. The Distillery tour was a bit underwhelming since it was only a viewing of Penny and a room behind that. However, you could have a tasting of 4 of their unique beverages. I was suprised by how much I enjoyed the Maple Rye (which was never something I considered myself to like). I bought one as a gift. Another fun add-on to the tour is to create your own bottle of gin. As we learned, Gin is quite literally vodka with a teabag, so you get to customize your own infusion blend for the gin. This is in a full size bottle of liquid, so ensure that you have additional space/weight in your luggage because not only is it a large amount of alcohol, but also a heavy glass bottle. I really liked the tasted of the smoked mayo on my burger. I also got a Broccoli Cheddar Soup on the side. Banded Peak Brewing is a popular beer made in Alberta that is named after a mountain in the Canadian Rockies. I grabbed their Amber Lager to pair with my dinner.
