Chris our waiter came right over on this summer evening around 5:45 pm and took our drink orders. Tonight special he informed us is a 2 lb lobster for $64 which made my wife happy! I had the Shrimp and Scallop Linguine. The food came out and they cracked the lobsters at the table. The linguine with shrimp and scallops was in the house Station house sauce which is a read creamy sauce. Needed a little more flavor so I added red peper flakes. The crew who ate the lobsters seemed very happy! Old world style seafood house that has been around for decades. The full bar area had tvs for us to check out the games that were on tonight. We finished off sharing a blueberry bread pudding. Couple of things I noticed. they do not clean off the dirty plates quickly. One of the reasons we've always loved The Station House for the past 20 years is the consistency. The food, service, and overall experience have always made it a place we looked forward to visiting. Unfortunately, this visit felt very different from what we've come to expect. We were seated promptly upon arrival, which was appreciated. However, our table was located directly beside the kitchen doors, and throughout the evening the doors were repeatedly slammed by staff members. The constant noise made it difficult to enjoy conversation and took away from what should have been a relaxing dinner. Our server was attentive, but we were surprised when she sat on a neighboring dining table while taking our order. It felt unprofessional and not in line with the standards we've experienced at The Station House over the years. The bruschetta was excellent as always, and the mashed potatoes remain some of the best around. I ordered the Filet Tips appetizer, which was flavorful, but two of the pieces contained large amounts of fat and gristle, which was unexpected for a filet dish. My husband ordered the snapper and noticed the lateral line had not been removed before serving. While it is edible, many seafood restaurants remove it for both presentation and flavor. For a restaurant known for its seafood, this was surprising and felt like another example of the attention to detail that seemed to be missing during our visit. The final disappointment came when we left the restaurant. A manager and hostess were standing at the front, yet neither acknowledged us as we were exiting. What ultimately stood out most was not any single issue, but the overall decline in the level of professionalism and attention to detail that we have always associated with The Station House. read more

For whatever reason, during our 30 years of living here , I never had gone to the Station House. My wife has gone a few times. So we decided to celebrate our anniversary there. Great decision. Complimentary valet. There was a special all you can eat lobster night going on for $109. That's a lot of lobster. Just a couple of high tops available, so we decided to sit at the bar , and order a few things from the happy hour menu. Cocktails were very good to start off at. The bartenders were constantly checking in on us. We started with a lobster bisque , shrimp scampi, and fillet tips with horde radish cream and whipped potatoes. Perfect portions for sharing for two. We then shared the lobster pasta entree. Absolutely delicious. And since it was our anniversary, we polished off our meal with a delicious white chocolate blueberry bread pudding. Had a party of 15 and they were able to give us the back room which was great. We had some rowdy children so it was perfect for keeping us contained. The food here was great. My husband and I shared the 10 pound gargantuan lobster and boy did I feel bad eating it. It was delicious and well cooked. We also had starters like clams casino, raw oysters, lobster bisque soup, shrimp cocktail. The waitress was super nice and they even open the lobster up for you and take out the meat. Now that's excellent service! The restaurant is handicap accessible and I was able to bring in my stroller with plenty of space for storing it. They also let me keep my baby milk in their bar fridge to keep cold. Would definitely recommend although pricey! read more

We've been to The Station House before, and once again, the food was consistently great. We started with the calamari, and it was cooked perfectly crispy, light, and not overly breaded. The Station House Old Fashioned was also a great choice. For dinner, we ordered lobster tails, along with a 12 oz filet mignon and an 8 oz filet mignon. The lobster tails were well seasoned, and both steaks were cooked exactly to our preference, tender and flavorful. The creamed spinach was rich and creamy without being too heavy or runny. The ambiance is excellent, especially in the renovated area, which really enhances the overall dining experience. Between the quality of the food, the consistency, and the atmosphere, The Station House continues to be a solid choice. Definitely a place we'll keep returning to. read more

Took my mom there for her birthday as she wanted seafood. Greeted by a valet - free... just a tip. Had a reservation and they were ready for us. This is an old school place and the clientele seems to trend towards older people. Lobster is a specialty - tonight there was a special on 2 lbs, but I saw others get a 4 & a 6 lb lobster. Sorry, I am late with this. We went to the Station Houseca couple of weeks ago for the first time. It was FANTASTIC!! I had Steak tips and lobster tails cooked medium. It came out PERFECT. My partner, ordered the 2 lb lobster, again it was PERFECT. Our server, Celina, started by answering our many questions in a very friendly, and extremely knowledgeable manner. They have plenty of lobsters and great service in that they tear it apart and remove the meat seconds after it's put out in front of you. But by the time I realized what I was looking at, my allegedly 2 pound lobster was already dismembered. So it was too late to complain that this was most assuredly NOT a 2 pound lobster, maybe 1.5, perhaps 1.6 pounds if it had swallowed a magnet before boiling. My advice if you go there is to ask to see the lobster before they cook it because I got ripped off. I emailed to ask whether they were rounding up, but I didn't hear back, but that's my suspicion. Pull out a 1.55 pounder and call it 2. The picture made the body look bigger because it's covered with crab stuffing tasting mostly like breading. Lousy disappointing experience. read more

Been here a few times, and the service is awesome every time. The food can be a little inconsistent (meaning we always start with the Cobia bites, and sometimes they're perfect, sometimes they're over cooked, and the corn/potatoes that come as the side for the lobster are not anything fancy). BUT- one thing that they do pretty near perfect is a steamed lobster. We get that and the "lobster tails" every time, and they never disappoint. Plus, the desserts are to die for: highly recommend apple cobbler, tiramisu, and creme brûlée. Everyone we know has raved about this restaurant but from the outside, it doesn't look like much. Finally, after 10 years of driving by we went tonight and we will now be joining the chorus of raves! They were crispy and tasty and the sauce was delicious. On to the tips and tails. The tips were tender and laid on top of the best mashed potatoes. There were 3 little tails that were lightly breaded and broiled - just the way I like them. Even the string beans were delicious! One in our party had the small plates tips and scampi - with garlic bread - and that was plenty of food for him. Don't miss the desserts! The blueberry bread pudding is enough to serve four adults. We had a terrific server, Harvey, who was full of personality. I asked for suggestions and he was very helpful. We have not been here since the remodel and it really is nice. Booth was comfortable and we liked the decor. We started with Cobia bites and Clams Casino. The clams were very salty and overpowered by the bacon. My friend enjoyed the Cobia. For mains I got the tips and tails, my friend got the Snapper Hemingway, and my hubby got the ribs. All were delicious except my entree was not warm and the steak was cold. The kitchen must have been backed up because it took a long time between starter and main. I didn't complain about it because at that point I was getting full. (Bigger to go box please!) Drinks, Hibiscus Margarita and Peach Martini) were sweet and just ok. All in all a good experience but pricey. The 2 lb. Lobster special of the night was $76. First time trying The Station House Restaurant. I've lived near this area for many years and for some reason I never saw this place, although it's been opened for a few decades now and I'm pleased to see a gorgeous place that seems to have recently gotten a renovation. The convenience of valet once you arrive was well received! Specially in Florida's rainy season. Once walking in, I loved the look of their outside seating area, quite a few picture perfect spots. Upon walking into the restaurant, I really enjoyed the bar, the seating, lighting and overall ambiance. The only thing I would recommend the restaurant do, is try to do something about a distinct smell I could sense, not sure if I can say it was musky, or woodsy, but I wish there was a different scent that was more pleasant. On, to the food. I had to order the lobster of course! And it was worth it! I ordered it steamed, and it tasted fresh and perfectly prepped, and our waitress even offered to break it down for me great service! And during happy hour, there was a special for 2lb lobster for $50 which we took advantage of. To wrap up our meal, we also had to try the key lime pie. The portion is quite generous, and ended up taking half of it home. The flavor was sweet and tart, with a good mount of whipped cream to balance the acidity. We went to the "All You Can Eat Lobster Night" last evening. The food was great, the service was just as great, but there was a disappointment when the bill arrived. In looking it over, I noticed there was a 22% charge. I asked the server what that was for and she said they automatically add a 22% gratuity for all you can eat dinners. It was so small, we almost missed it and started to leave a 20% tip on top of that. Patrons should be told that this 22% is automally added to the check. Not very nice! read more

Y'all. We went because of Yelp reviews and they were spot-on. This place is fantastic! Drinks, 4 appetizers, meals for 7 - we did not skimp, and the total was less than $80/person. (Look at the end of each menu item line for the price - doesn't have dollar signs) Our wonderful server Alexandria made the outing so much fun and took excellent care of us during a busy night. Between the table we tried: Mussels with spicy tomato (SO good!) The first time I ate here was roughly 1.5 years ago and thought the food was superb but a lil expensive. I didn't mind cause you get what you pay for. Ate there once after that and it was mediocre. Now tonight 10/10/25 absolutely a shameful experience. The service was OK but was placed at a 2 top table that was very wobbly and had to put napkins under the leg just in order to cut my steak. Second, the food has done a complete 180 in the wrong direction to say the least. The mashed potatoes were very bland and tasted like instant potatoes. The green beans were just as bland with no seasonings. My husband ordered a MR steak and the middle part was so rare he couldn't eat it. So to say the least, they lost us as customers. first time there (it was a wednesday and not busy at all) and I wasn't very impressed...the seafood was actually pretty good except for picking bones out of my mouth (snapper) and lack of any sauce to go with it... and some measly pieces of lemon with no juice left in it...looks like they forgot what attention to detail is.. the place was too loud and.the service was so-so ( seemed like they didn't want to be there) and they only had one valet and a line of cars coming in and a line of diners waithing to leave. I felt really sorry for the valet girl who was trying to scramble...Management can't let that happen and I totally blame them...they also don't seem to know how to serve bruschetta and a pet peeve of mine is always that a fancy overpriced restaurant has to at least serve good bread and theirs was crap.. overall food was good but everything else solidified my decision that I wasn't going to be back. read more

Cold water, Maine lobster. So good! We get the special. They have huge lobsters, ranging from 2 lbs-6lbs (it varies, maybe even larger). The special comes with roasted red potatoes and corn on the cob. We will sometimes get a salad too. The service and valet are always incredibly kind! Also, I dropped my bracelet and it wasn't until I was home when I realized I was missing it. 30 seconds later, I received a call from the restaurant about my bracelet. They knew it was me because we had a reservation, and I dropped it near the table and one of their team members brought it to their attention! I recommend coming here if you want lobster. Sometimes they have specials and the lobsters are always fresh and delicious. The servers here are very attentive and accommodating. The lobster bisque is one of the best I've had so far. The appetizer clams in the red sauce is superb. Now, you take the good with the bad. The drinks are mediocre. Not crafty drinks and it's okay. I think the drinks are pricey for what it's worth. The sides are not great either. The Brussels sprouts were mushy, rice was hard, and corn was not seasoned. Potatoes was good not great. Awesome restaurant with delicious drinks + food, gorgeous decor and live music! My bf and I came for dinner Saturday night. I had the cucumber martini which was delicious. We shared the filet tips appetizer, it was perfect! He had the lobster roll and I had the snapper Hemingway. The roll was fine, but the rockstar here was clearly the snapper. The creamy lemon caper sauce was so good! Unfortunately we were too full for dessert but we will definitely come back to try the key lime pie.
