This place is loud, overly crowded and overpriced. Stood at the bar for over 20 minutes, and could not get a drink as the bartenders blatantly ignored me. Really fun place with a great atmosphere! The only reason I come here is to line dance, as this is one of the few bars that does line dancing in the Phoenix area. Unfortunately, the line dance to swing dance ratio is not ideal. It is generally 4 swing dances to 1 line dance. I notice a lot of line dancers there that don't do the swing dancing. I feel like creating a better ratio would make the overall experience more enjoyable. Maybe a 3 swing dance to 2 line dance ratio? read more

We finally got a new place in the North Valley that is a great hangout spot with live music. The food is wonderful and happy to have an option such as The Stillery. I was very weary at first because this location has went through some troubled establishments recently but you will not be disappointed here. My only suggestion would be to stay open just a little later if possible but I understand the times. read more

Decided to take a date out to downtown chandler, and we decided to stop here to eat. Never heard of this place, but I do love a good southern supper so I figured I'd give it a shot. This place is really cool. The interior is nice and open, and there is even a stage where a rock n roll band plays (we came here on a Monday afternoon so it was probably a little too early to rock, haha). We got a really cozy table and examined the menu... and wow. Everything from jalepeno rangoons to southern style "rustic pies". I felt right at home and couldn't make up my mind! The libation menu was also fantastic, lots of good beers and many whiskey based cocktails with the perfect ingredients for a relaxing summertime refreshment. Heard numerous friends that recommended this restaurant so we gave it try. First impressions that it is a Large open sterile enviroment. Service was very slow. Asked for water several times with no response. Had to grab a busboy to get water. For our appetizers had grilled Brussel sprouts. They were like picking them off the bush and heating them up. Extremely tough and hardly edible. For dinner at out table we had a steak sandwich, hamburger, Asia salad & mac and cheese. These were OK. Drinks were good. They have music which is a plus. We ordered drinks which took a while come out, kinda surprised me it was just beers served in the can. We received a notification that local Huss beers were 4.50 this week, not select Huss beers. We had guests from out of town and thought it would be a fun place to take them. There were table tents advertising the beer special. Unfortunately Huss Scottsdale Blonde not part of the promotion and another Huss beer on the promotion was out of stock. They would not honor the price posted for the blonde and proceeded to charge us for the out of stock beers plus the other ones we ordered. False advertising and poor planning. And they now charge you an additional fee to use a credit card. Aggrevating experience overall. read more

Walked in to a busy place and the beer taps were all broken. Bartender said it had been broken for days. This should have clued me in about the place. Finally got a table (yay). It's busy post covid. Made the mistake of ordering the fish and chips. The frys were cold and the fish... omg this needs to be removed from the menu. If I ran this place I would be ashamed to serve fish this bad. Tried this place for the first time with a large party. I have to say the staff was not the friendliest And the wait time for food was crazy long! Once the food came out I wasn't hungry any more. No ceiling fans in the restaurant except above the dance floor, so on a hot AZ day it was not cool inside as they had the doors open. The wait staff saw no urgency for food delivery and also forgot to put one person at our tables order in, instead of making it right the server made us feel like we were in the wrong. Not sure I will ever eat here again, may only come for the music. read more

The food and energy are good. The service was abysmal. The appetizer never came and when we flagged our waiter down to let her know, we said we no longer wanted it as out entree had already arrived. The appetizer showed up anyhow, as a dessert, when we were done w our meal. I had to flag her down for (1) water, (2) salt and pepper, (3) the appetizer, (4) another round of drinks. She never stopped to see if we needed anything or how our meal was. In fact, she never stopped for anything. When the bill came - the appetizer was on there!!! I spoke to a very defensive manager who said "she's one of our better servers". I sure hope not!!! It seems to be a popular restaurant- maybe they can afford to treat customers like that. read more

First time checking this spot out although I've been to Phoenix and Scottsdale Arizona a number of times. Booked a quick reservation on open table worked out great. Staff was amazingly friendly. Felt very welcome and warm in this place. Everything they make us from scratch so it's all really good. I had the katsu chicken sandwich and we tried the pretzel bites, and the kids had the chicken fingers and fries which were pretty good. Although I think the chicken fingers were a little breaded too much for my kids. But again cocktails are great selection is pretty robust. Christopher our service was amazing probably the best service I've had in almost any restaurant. If I come back here I would probably ask for him again. He was the perfect blend of friendliness, gave great recommendations. And you could tell he was happy to be here. Sometimes you don't get that when you go to places. We had the manager wait on us one time, apparently we arrived during shift change and she was very good, then the waiter took over - downhill from there. Another time we came in the evening, busy, people were dancing. Waiter spent more time talking to co-workers than servicing his tables. Seemed like he had a chip on his shoulder. My husband and I saw this place after eating at the ramen bar a few months ago and decided to finally check it out. The outside was busy, the inside was not. We got seated and noticed the server talking to the people next to us. She acknowledged them multiple times while we waited for anybody to just give us some water. 15 mins rolled by while that waitress, another waiter, and possibly a manager looked at my husband and kept taking care of everyone else around us.
