The unprofessionalism and stress that this business has caused me has forced me to leave this review. I originally contacted sud stud for a detailing with a full description of what was wrong with my car. I explained to them that a mouse had gotten into my car, tore up the seats and defecated everywhere. Instead of being an honest mobile detailer and explaining this job was too much for them they came out and did a poor job detailing my car. They didn't touch the frunk area of my car (photos provided) and after specifically asking them to look under my back seats they didn't touch the area (photos provided). After complaining to them I asked for an invoice in hopes of having my insurance cover the failed detailing. They only provided me this invoice after forcing me to apologize for being upset and taking down my poor review. I was going to let bygones be bygones but unfortunately my insurance has denied the claim. I contacted them for a refund and was denied any sort of compensation. PLEASE PLEASE avoid this business at all cost. They are the definition of unprofessional. My hand has been forced. It's an unfortunate thing but here we are- I have been a sud stud customer since March of 2020 (long before their company was even registered with the State of Ca to do business) and I have loved working with Dom and Nick IMMENSELY. This all changed this past Monday, 7/09/2024. I had them come out to do an interior detail on my Prius V ( medium sized sedan) which I was quoted $250 for. Their prices have always been a little higher but I am HAPPY to pay that to support a couple guys trying to make a living. 10 minutes into the detail I get a text saying that it will be $295, the interior is a little rougher than they expected. Fine, they typically do a stellar job. Upon completion they shot me a text, I go downstairs and he lets me know that there were some stains that would not be coming out, as a layman I trusted his expertise. Luckily, the gentleman buying my Prius knew otherwise. He reached out to his detail guy who ( for $125 !!!!!) removed the stains in question that were "irreversible" as well as taking care of all of the spots The Sud Stud missed. Once that was taken care of I emailed the brothers to see if they would be willing to discuss this issue further and received no response. Unfortunate but maybe they don't check that email often. The next day ( Today, 7/11/24) I reached out to Dominic via text to see if he had seen my email and if we could discuss the issue. I was immediately told I should have given him the chance to fix the issue before having another detailer do it and proceeded to tell me that they have a "no refund" policy. I implored him to reconsider, I wasn't looking for the full amount- only to cover the cost of the detailer that had to clean up their mistakes. He refused to acknowledge the mistake and continued to tell me that there is a no refund policy. He then proceeded to remind me about my missed appointment a week before and that they typically charge a 50% fee to last minute cancellations. At the time I was not made aware of that and would have HAPPILY paid that. In my line of work I am well aware of what last minute cancellations can do to business for the day. I was told he waived that fee since I have been a loyal customer but now I was being told he considered us square based on that missed appointment. Upon asking Dom for their listed refund policy he sent me a link to their website that showed a refund policy ("we do not offer refunds", pretty standard). Unbeknownst to him I had already been perusing his website earlier in the day and that link was not there prior to me requesting it. Upon pointing this out and informing him that I would indeed be seeking a full refund at this point because, at this point, I had been texting him for well over an hour to reason with him he effectively told me I'm SOL and I could pursue whatever avenues I chose to. It's incredibly unfortunate that they would treat a long time loyal customer like this, one who has recommended them to NUMEROUS clients and used them at my place of business. I will attach pics below showing the leftover mess from a $300 detail and the pics showing what the gentleman who charged $120 was able to ultimately rectify. I guess the long and short of it is make sure you pay with a credit card and do NOT let them leave until you have done a very thorough once over on your vehicle. read more

Great customer service and support.. I had them come out and ceramic coat my Toyota Tundra. The truck looks still great like it's brand new especially when the coated it a year ago. An I had them come out and check my interior and clean my leather seats. They did there best on cleaning the leather seats. AWFUL COMPANY. They did windows tinting for me, did it like a person who never did it before. They ruined a driver window and winshield, they said in need 2 weeks to cure but theres a fold and its not gonna go away. Also they damaged my brand new tesla and I spend a day to fix it. If they say that you have a warranty - hahah, no you do not have anything. They did not provide you any receipt, so I paid for this terrible job and now I should pay to replace it again. DO NOT WORK WITH THEM, if they think they are pro because they wrap their van ......they not.
