This was a really cool cafe that has a ton of açaí bowls and other breakfast/lunch options. They also have coffee, matcha and many other drinks. Unfortunately I got a açaí bowl and didn't realize there was wheat granola in it so I had to throw it out. Definitely make sure you ask for GF granola because it comes with wheat by default. The açaí bowl looks very tasty but I was unable to eat it. The protein balls on the other hand were delicious and gluten free. I would recommend them. read more

Ambience of this vegan/vegetarian friendly cafe is top tier! Easily sat a table of 6 whole providing lounge space and coworking areas. Beware! The parking lot behind this location is notorious for towing those who don't pay!! The lox bagel and coffee I got came out so quickly. The lox was not overly salmon flavored, which is a testament to its freshness. The micro greens were a perfect topping on this breakfast of mine. Surfinista Café has such a cool Cocoa Beach vibe -- laid-back, beachy, and full of character. The shop itself is adorable, and their merch is actually super cute. I ended up eyeing the tank tops, hoodies, and beanies with their logo -- they're the kind you'd actually want to wear, not just souvenir stuff. Food-wise, everything was really good. I had a tuna sandwich -- no frills, just fresh, simple, and delicious. The double chocolate chip banana muffin was amazing (definitely worth grabbing with your coffee). My nephew had the overnight oats, and they were a total hit. The only downside was the service. We stood waiting for several minutes while the employees chatted about a work issue and joked about how "the customer isn't always right." Not exactly the energy you want when you're ready to order. 3.5 overall I went here for lunch while in Cocoa Beach. I enjoyed the service and loved the vibe! I purchased the Barney juice and it was pricy for the size. However, the juice was fresh and delicious! I would buy the juice again despite the price. I would try another flavor too because the Janice was very fresh! My food was just okay! I enjoy avocado toast but the toast used for this was huge like Texas toast. I feel like smaller slices of toast would have been adequate for this dish. The taste was good and I would try another time of the menu when I return. Part of the reason I gave a 3.5 rating was that a patron was having a full on Zoom meeting in the cafe. They were loud and you could hear every word of their meeting. The person was not wearing headphones. It detracted from the chill and relaxing atmosphere. Overall, I will be back and would order another juice and food item. Try The Surfinista if you are in Cocoa Beach. Our FAVORITE coffee shop and cafe while in the area! Their matcha latte was the best in town and staff was also so friendly. It is a small surf shop but mostly their merch and seating for dine in. The bagel with lox was especially delicious and a huge portion. We ended up here for tea and coffee every morning with a final stop on our out of town for Surfinista swag to wear home. Great coffee shop with other goodies, indoor & outdoor seating, attached surf & ukelele store, great coffee, steady service with an organized system. Definitely crowded every time I went. Not consistent in the almond milk they use. Had a great latte the first day, the second day they used a different milk and it was horrible. Made a great Hawaiian banana bread and protein balls. Several nice Asian(Hawaiian?) salads for grab 'n goes. If we got the almond milk situation figured out, this would be my daily stop. read more

I don't know what the fake meat was, but I'll be happy in my ignorance as it tasted good My daughter did not like the Peanut butter and jelly kids sandwich because the bread was too healthy. So she stole my tuna salad in chili instead as these met her picky criteria. PS i enjoyed her p b and j Cafe Au Lait with whole milk was well flavored and perfect Turtle Brownie was outstanding!! I am not sure If the coconut hints came from a coconut oil or dairy substitute, or was just part of the intended flavor. At any rate, it gave off that chocolate, caramel, coconut, pecan flavor that was super moist in one of the top few brownies i've had from a cafe. The decor was entertaining to look at and we played ping pong while we waited for our food. Overall nice experience. Give them a try! This was a very cute find in Cocoa Beach. It was crowded but the service was quick and the food was good! They have different types of avocado toast. Mine came with vegan egg, cheese, tomato, spinach, and balsamic glaze. It was amazing!! They also have some huge acai bowls and fresh baked breads and muffins. While visiting Cocoa Beach, we stopped in to grab some breakfast. I ordered a vegan breakfast burrito, a latte with oat milk and an açaí bowl to share. They have good vegan options and good reviews, which was my reason choosing the place. I really liked the açaí bowl and the cafe latte but was very disappointed with the breakfast burrito. It was very bland and no flavor. I chose to not use the sauce they provided which may have been why it seemed to not have seasoning or flavor, just the spice of the vegan chorizo. I took a couple of bites and just could not eat any more. The ambiance is good and nice to see all the merch. The service is ok. I let them know that I dislike the burrito and didn't get a nice response from it. I wasn't looking to get anything out of it, just being honest. It was my first time here and that didn't leave a good impression for me. read more

I took home blueberry coffee muffin, chocolate, chip muffin, banana bread, and a banana blonde brownie. All were very delicious. I tried their açai bowl with peanut butter as well, and it was divine. I had "the local" avocado toast. What I love is the size of the bread which was satisfying in size. The layers of avocado, arugula and watermelon radish was all a great combo. I had their iced coffee with caramel. I definitely want to try more things on their menu. they have a variety of places to sit outdoors and indoors. There are some cozy sofa spots and a section of tables in the back. Adjacent to the cafe is a retail store with really cool items. Their prices are reasonable. there is parking behind the café. I have gone here multiple years on vacation and it's my go to spot for breakfast or a healthy snack. Their smoothies are unreal, and I love that most of them don't have dairy. The food is super delicious and fresh. The girls that work in here are super helpful and kind. They're the kind of girls you wanna be besties with. This is a little gem of sunshine in Cocoa Beach. I was staying close by and decided to give this place a try for a quick breakfast before heading to the beach. I had a bagel with cream cheese, spinach and tomato which was very good. The star of the show was my green smooths. It was not too sweet, cold and very delicious. The restaurant space is super welcoming, and a comfortable space to enjoy the food especially when the weather is hot and sticky! I did knock off one star because I would love t suggest a menu changes my 15 year old son was so excited for what was labeled in the menu as "French toast" but in actuality was just dry toast with banana and walnuts. The portion size of the bowl made up for the price, however, the pitaya had mostly melted after it had sat for a bit.
