I can not say enough about the cupcake I ate today. Everything about Sweet Spot is beyond expectation. The place is cozy, yet trendy, and really makes you feel like you are in a coffee house in Portland or Seattle. The staff is friendly and you can tell the people in there are regulars, and I can see why. I'm not a coffee drinker, but my daughter loved her latte and I fell in love with the London Fog which is like foamy Earl Grey awesome creation! My daughter and I each had a cupcake. I had the maple bacon, which was perfect in every way and my daughter had a chai cupcake that she also loved. These are not just passable cupcakes, these are like "drive an hour just to try" cupcakes. I love how they have pitchers of water for guests to help themselves with because things like that warm a place up for me and make me feel wanted. I personally wanted to try everything I saw so I'm sure I'll go back. I feel so happy when a place like this finds its way into a small city. Southern Wisconsin is not exactly a culinary hot spot, so I hope the people of Whitewater realize what a gem they have! read more

Nicely renovated space. Very clean. Service was very good. Sweet were very good. The brownie was too much frosting not enough brownie...

Food was amazing! We are from MI, I wish it was closer, I would go every morning for coffee!

We stopped in for lunch while on vacation and had excellent sandwiches and amazing coffee. It was really hard to choose what pastries we wanted for dessert but we managed and weren't disappointed. We'll be back here next time we're in the area!! read more

Love the SweetSpot. The coffee, food, baked goods, and atmosphere are all excellent. The only problem is sometimes getting a table since the secret is out! Stopped in on Father's Day 2017 at 10:30am Half of the sandwiches listed on "today's menu" were already sold out. We asked about items listed on the website menu, but we were told the menu had not been updated and the sandwiches were no longer available. First, it's too expensive and you never know when they'll be open. They make you feel unwelcome. One get's the feeling that they are more concerned about the second rate art on the walls than their customers. read more

The SweetSpot is the place to be in Whitewater! The food is incredible. The service is fast and friendly. The ownership is really making efforts to be a part of the community in Whitewater. Karen made us the most beautiful and delicious wedding cakes! Our consultation was fun (and delicious!), and she was open to our ideas while helping us make sure our ideas were doable. She made a cake that looked exactly like an inspiration photo I found online, as well as a sheet cake (each slice monogrammed with our initials) that was also just lovely. She even had us drop off a few of our flowers in advance and decorated our cake with them. She delivered on time and was a dream to work with. I would recommend the SweetSpot in a heartbeat. (When I asked my stepson if he thinks the wedding cake earned five stars, he said the cake earned 20 stars!) read more

The food here is cheap and expensive. I bought a flavored coffee the other day and it was too sweet. I couldn't drink it. I explained this to one of the workers and I asked if I could either have my money back or have the drink remade for me. The worker ignored what I asked and she just said she was sorry I didn't like my drink. I will never go back there again. read more

Best coffee shop in Whitewater... And I've worked at 2 of the main ones. Fresh coffee from Ancora in Madison, not shipped from out of state by some company. AWESOME prices, and a great selection. They offer wines and beer as well as a very decent lunch menu. The owners and employees are all great and friendly. read more

I had the pleasure of working with Lacey and Karen as an event coordinator, and they are fantastic. Their desserts were raved about, and their service is amazing--who else would deliver cakes with a smile in -0 weather? Not to mention their amazing customer service, always saying yes even when it was last minute.I have never heard anything but praises about them from clients, and would gladly suggest not only their bakery goods but also their food to anyone. Everything is a touch overpriced. The food's better quality than you can get pretty much anywhere else in Whitewater, but your wallet is still going to hurt a bit. It's delicious and I've never had a bad experience with the baristas. Once I was studying and completely lost track of time and they just left me sitting there with my headphones on a full half hour after they closed (but were cooking or something), which was really nice. read more
