This is our first trip to their restaurant. We have eaten from their food truck for years and the sit down experience was excellent. We sat at the bar and we had a very attentive server. I ordered the steak tacos with cheese and a coke. The food was exactly as we had remembered. It was the first time that I could order the tacos that I love and not have to sit in the car and eat them. Friendly staff.. great food that has not changed from truck to brick and morter... This is a restaurant and a family worth supporting. They are good people and their food is unique. That's two qualities that are very hard to find these days. Very clean restaurant, Excellent customer service and the food is extremely delicious! It really is authentic Mexican food. I cannot get over how delicious everything was! The sign they put by the window was snarky and aggressive to the guest. I have always enjoyed their tacos (a bit overpriced, but good). But when I saw the sign today I almost didn't order. I have been in food service for 15 years and yes things get under our skin, but a sign like this is insulting to the guest. Then I hear the guy running the place tell a guest they normally don't take credit card even though I have used nothing but credit card when buying from them for the last year. It seams like because they have built a following they feel they no longer have to try to give 5 star service. The meats are tender, flavorful, and everything is expertly prepared with care. Super friendly staff. Homemade guacamole & chips, many kinds of salsas for every palate, too many good flavors to describe here, but my favorite taco has to be the al pastor. The absolute best tacos I've had in my entire life. From a food truck nevertheless! I had the chicken taco and the al pastor or taco and both were so good I wanted to lick the plate. The hot sauce that came with it was excellent the red was very hot which was appreciated and the green was milder which was excellent as well. Ok..., so let's talk. I'm a die-hard taco guy and have had most of the tacos from Denver north to Wyoming. The Taco Man is playing in on a different level from the rest. The traditional street taco is usually a cheap and fast bite with good savory flavor with inexpensive cuts of meat. This experience is more like asking a skilled taco chef "How good can you make a Taco using traditional ingredients if we remove the normal limits". Trust me ,there are ZERO bad choices here for sure, but the Pastor and Barbacoa are both next level standouts.
